The Guardians were once mostly benign, never really bothering to guard anything, but one day, they decided to pick up the slack, along with weapons, to poke and punish any who dare lurk past the subconsious into the dark cavern of concealed thoughts and desires, there one can find all that one doesn't want to broadcast to the world, yet, time and time again, there are invasions, and The Guardians are growing ever weaker by the day, eventually, the whole truth will be mined and set out.
