Maul-Puffs hunt in packs. Due to their size, being noticeably bigger than the gentler Puffs, most don't see them coming before it's too late.
One will latch on the the throat, puncturing the windpipe, while the others anchor their teeth inside of the body. They're extremely hard to shake off without losing some of your meat. ;-;

They don't like socializing much outside from other Maul-Puffs, but they aren't all mean. Some even watch over stray Puffs that have lost their way. Despite the false info that they eat other Puffs. It's only... a majority of everything else. :'D ( cont. )

Maul-Puffs are lot more fuzzy than normal Puffs. It's hard to see their eyes, but they have them under there somewhere! xD

Some believe that their redish-orange fur is due to the fact that they ate so much meat that the blood from it recolored their fur as they multiplied from earlier days. :o

Taming a Maul-Puff is difficult, considering they don't like having someone over them. So a relationship between them and the 'owner' would be more so friends than vicious pet.
But treat them nicely, and they'll give you a shot like any other Puff would. o/

But abuse them and... Well, let's just say you won't be able to unhook them from you in time to get away...
