After finishing the t-rex, Fiona needed a moment to figure out how to get her sword lifted up while she was on ice, but she soon managed... Just as the group of shades were nearing them. "Oh, that's A LOT!" She exclaimed, sliding herself across the ice towards Eira and the car full of people, heeding Rahab's words. "NOW we gotta get them to a safer place!!"

The shades heading for Eira were definitely set back by the ice spikes, though there were a few velociraptor shades who managed to leap over them. They split up as they all headed her way, baring their fangs and claws.

Quite a handful of the smaller shades in both groups were picked off by Rahab's attack, the arrow-shards piercing right through them. However, there were still a few left, along with two larger manticore-like shades. One of which withstood the attack. They bounded straight towards him, pointed tails ready to strike.

"Agreed - help them out so we cna get out of here!" She said to Fiona. Eira backed up and looked around as the veloci-shades circled her, trying to assess the best way to defend herself as quickly as possible. She tried a stomp attack, sending a ripple of ice around her that sprouted ice spikes as it grew outwards, hopefully inpaling at least a few of the dinos. She also readied her hands and threw a couple small bursts of ice magic at the nearest shades. up and looked around as the veloci-shades circled her, trying to assess the best way to defend herself as quickly as possible. Rahab batted at the remaining smaller shades, being notably bigger and stronger than them, but he had to quickly leap into the air and beat his wings to avoid the incoming attack of the manticores, grunting from his previous shoulder injury. Tilting back down, he landed on top of the second manticore and bit onto the scorpion tail with his beak so it couldn't stab at him. //I don't know what a shade could do with those, and I'm not about to find out!//

Josh didn't want to be left behind but knew he had to, the man grunted and pointed to the building he left me his partner head to " go! "

Jason took his free hand and did it quick salute before turning and running off towards the building, as he was maneuvering around the obstacles he was changing the bolt to his bow, putting in a grapple hook, the orange hair boy aimed for the highest point of the building and fired, the grapple hook impaled into the side of the wall, he held onto his bow as it zip him up the line

The girl was terrified for the officer, she saw the way the monster was fighting and knew something bad was about to happen..

Crystal was just getting to her feet when the monster threw Christina to the side. As Arthur called out and she saw the monster jump at her again, all the girl could do was collapse back down to the roof out of instinct. In the span of the next few seconds she realized a couple things.. First and foremost was that she wasn’t being torn to shreds.

Crystal lifted her head and gasped, her eyes widening at the sight of the beast stuck in midair. She was trembling and breathing so heavy she couldn’t hardly hear anything else, but fighting the pain she was in the girl stumbled to her feet once more and got out of the way. The second thing she had realized was there had been a voice from someone else and wasn’t sure where it came from. “Ar..Arthur.. what’s going on? Who was that?” Crystal asked while stepping back some more, glancing over to where Christina had been thrown, her stomach twisting as she looked to see if the officer was okay.

Everything happen so fast, one moment Christina was bite and tossed to the side and the next that same monster who attacked her was now frozen in time.

The pink officer was on her side when it happened, she looked up just when she since it, some unseen Force, magic she never experienced before... though she was in pain it didn't seem as bad as before// what kind of magic is this?...// she thought in wonder.

[ I-... I'm not sure...] Arthur was just as surprised, he had never experienced something like this ether [ you heard that to? ] he went quite as he thought, there was a unknown voice that he knew wasn't one of the kings but it seem familiar somehow, then there was this power? It wasn't just from his key, a part of him yes but there was something else at play here but maybe it wasn't the place right now [ I don't know what going on but I suggest taking this as an opportunity ]

Boreas reached the roof of the building as swift as the wind, but the situation he discovered wasn't what he was expecting. //What the heavens...?// His eyes darted from the very different looking monster that was seemingly frozen in time to the billboard with the message--his disguised monocle being the only thing allowing him to read it.

"Yo!" He called to Crystal and Christina, landing on the rooftop beside the human girl and readying his magic. "...Need some assistance?"

It doesn't take long at all for the shade to regain its bearings again and notice Terra, but this time it doesn't immediately charge after him. It's noticed how he's not running away, even though he has every opportunity, and is now staring it down...

Knowing he'll need to buy Sparky a bit more time to check the building, Terra stares down the shade, waiting and watching if it'll make a move, and after just a moment he pulls his gun up to take aim at it.

The shade, seeing this, tries to bolt as quick as it can out of the way, of course it winces in pain from its shattered shoulder, but it would much rather deal with that than take another unnecessary bullet...

However, Terra never actually pulled the trigger. He figured anything with half a functioning brain would try to avoid getting shot, so he didn't bother wasting his ammo. //Let's see how long I can bluff...// he thinks to himself, swiftly backing up as he goes to aim at the shade again.

Morning Glory tries her best to get into a good position to look through the helmet's visor without being too distracting for the red king, but notices how he stumbles as he gets up. "Are you ok?" she asks, concerned again for his well-being.

" ...yeah, I'll be fine..." Crimson tapped his forehead with the palm of his hand " it's an old complained of mine, I... I dealt with it before " the red king stood up and rolled his neck// just stay focused on the task //

Crimson took off, making his way to across the roof tops

Catch looked over at Eater still holding the surprised look on his face, he then looked back toward the building " huh, I guess so " he then stop what he was doing and started to pull the ribbon, he kept pulling for a bit "uh... how far did it go?" He finally felt tension on his ribbon and gave a goofy smirk " finally found something, not sure what though "

"... Wait, you /found/ something? Wouldn't that imply the spear actually stuck to something, and you've been dragging it?" Eater asks with a slight chuckle, but then he frowns faintly. "Ah, I'm curious to see what more we can do, but I think now isn't the time... Wanna try setting up our net trap thing, and we can play around later?"

"If there's... anything I can do to help, I'd be more than willing to..." Glory quietly offers, knowing there's something wrong but not being sure yet. "But... You know I can only help you... If you tell me what's wrong... Right...?"

At first Crimson didn't say anything, he just focus on catching up to the monsters, that was more important right now and besides what could a Forgotten do anyway? Fairfin were bonded to their Dreamers and well Glory didn't do a very good job looking after Weaver so really what help could she be? These were just a few thoughts that were dancing around in the red kings mind.

Besides if he told Glory she probably think he crazy or his corruption was getting the best of him, Crimson didn't want that, it was bad enough with the looks of the people in the Palace after his corruption took over for everyone to see and people had already been telling him that he was acting creepy... not everyone knew about his past or the full story and he preferred it that way but it might not be his choice... the past seem to be repeating itself, like a broken clock, here he was yet again, a city under attack by monsters, the sounds and destructive presents felt so much like home... it was no wonder his mind drifted back to the old days, back to were he felt the most in control and powerful, however the difference was this world did the opposite, he didn't feel strong here and he definitely didn't feel like he was in control, if anything Crimson felt terrible, he was tired and felt a hunger he rarely experienced, he was craving magic and knew just how to get it... " I'll be fine... this is the one thing I'm good at " the red king said reaching a point where he could finally see his prey.

"...so that what..."Crimson Mumble with his left hand putting two fingers on the side of his helmet, to zoom in on them, Down below traveling in a large swarm was butterfly like shades, they came in a variety of sizes that ranged from Tiny insects to one's big ones that were elephant size if not bigger and every size in between. ".... so tell me, shall we get this party started?..." he then turned with a smirk, things were about to get interesting

" im pretty sure I got something " Catch tug on the ribbon again and sure enough it was stuck But the Dreamer prince agreed, they had job to do.

From there Catch then focused on making the trap with his friend or he try as much as he could to work with Weaver and not to upset Eater, during the time of their Construction the Dreamer prince thought about the task, that these were creatures if Voids, a man or monster they knew little about other then he wanted Dreamcatcher body, but why? Why Catch but there was even more mystery in Voids Palace the Abyss was at and it had done something to both Eora and Purity, so what was Voids end game? And this got him thinking about what should the key hunters be? Yes to stop Soledormir but they knew so little... maybe, maybe they could change that.

As they worked Catch ask Eater what should there plan is, sure They were making a trap but for what purpose? That maybe they could use this as an opportunity to learn more about Void, what are his Shade and how were so many hidden until now, was there some way they could use them to uncover more about the mysterious man?

Dreameater also focused on the trap, making sure not to use his full strength this time, though it takes a couple tries still for him to gauge how hard to throw the spears, to make sure they only get impaled into the buildings.

When Catch brought up his thoughts, Dreameater stopped and thought about it some too. After a bit of discussion, the two decided they could also try to use this net to possibly capture some of the shades coming their way; who knows, maybe they could take them back to the palace for them to be studied?

Once the trap is set, Dreameater rubs his hands together and looks to Catch. "Well, we've got that all set up, I don't know if we've got much time for anything else," he says, going over and picking up Dawn's Sabre again in his right hand. Then, he turns back to his friend with a smirk, holding his left hand out for a fist bump. "You ready for this, brother?"

Despite him telling her he'll be fine, Glory is still worried about Crimson... Unfortunately, she isn't really sure what she can do. For now she stays dismally quiet, looking through the helmet and also seeing the butterfly-like shades.
She doesn't really want to bring it up again already that he's being creepy when he says the last thing the does, but... after a moment to think more, she finally says something. "... Are you going to be like a hero, Crimson...? Like what Weaver's trying to be right now...?"

The red king was plotting out how he make his entrance,he picked up a few rocks and toss them lightly up, he caught the stones and toss then again as he was mapping out what he was going to do in his mind, it was getting him excited, it had been a while since he was in a battle, well against something like a dark creature...

Crimson stopped with what Glory says "... a hero?..." he repeats and glace to his right as if to see her but of course he couldn't, the Fairfin words stuck something, something he didn't realize until now "... I..." he didn't answer, yes at first Crimson came to save people but just now he didn't care about them, he just wanted a entertaining fight, like what he had against Nightmares, he wanted revenge....but why? He wasn't hunting Nightmares, these were Voids shades, what did he really have with them other then they were in his way and right now they were the threatened yet he was taken this personal, but why? He didn't know these people, he didn't belong to this world, but maybe it was something more, maybe there was many reasons...

But Crimson thoughts went to Crystal, even though she wasn't from this world, she was a human.

The red king took the rocks in his hands and clutch them in his fist at his side, he was getting frustrated now, he wanted to do something but was it right? Was he doing it with the right intentions? Should he even care? If the job gets done then people are saved one way or other, that how he always done things so why did it matter?! It wasn't about being a hero, heroes were people like the kings and he wasn't a chosen key hunter so why did it matter? He couldn't be a hero but he could get revenge....

Crimson took his close hand and pressed it up against the front of his helmet like someone would when having a headache " rrrAARHHHH! " he roared at the jumbled up thoughts and emotions he was experiencing. The red king pulled down his hand and bard his teeth " I-! I don't know what the hell going on with your partner, but we're not the same! " he snapped.

The red king then storm off, not like he could get away from Glory but he was mad, some reason he didn't know but mostly because Crimson didn't believe he could be a hero, not any more...not with his past.

Dreamcatcher smirked and put up his left hand for fist bump " as ready as I'll ever be brother " it was almost like old times as kids and the few good times back in school, with the warm hearted atmosphere a faint glow was around Dreamcatcher but mostly gathered around his back but the glowing faded, Catch then Frowned hearing the distant scream or more like battle cry of his Fairfin " Anna? " he looked up as she was quietly getting louder and was coming from that directions.

"RAHHHHHH!!" Rihanna was falling but she wasn't alone, the tiger Fairfin had the black bird buy one of its wings and had was punching the bird in the back of the head with her other paw

Of course... seeing Dreamcatcher so happy again and hearing both the prince and his own words, Eater frowns as he pulls his hand back to himself. //... I'm being too NICE again, I don't want to be NICE! I freaking called him "brother" again! That's WEAVER!! HE'S SO HAPPY HE'S GLOWING OR SOMETHING!!// he grumpily thinks to himself, not really caring much about that last thing, but again, he doesn't want Catch to touch him...
When Anna comes falling down screaming her war cry, Eater looks up at her and in his frustration, he shouts, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

Morning Glory flinches when Crimson roars and snaps at her again, and she goes back to being quiet. She didn't want to upset him and make him angry, being angry like this will only make things worse...

"... As long as you're not evil... I don't... want to lose anyone else..." she eventually mumbles, back to being rather depressed, slumping a little bit in her spot in the helmet, but trying to look and keep an eye on the monsters she can see as well.

Crimson pause for a brief moment //... am I evil?...// the question lingered in his mind, sure he had done shaded things, well more then shaded but in the past he never considered them evil, he never killed a person...sure he uses dark magic but he never did any of the really bad stuff, with they he was up against he had to fight fire with fire, there was no other way or no way that was fast....it was fine, he knew what he was doing, he could walk on the edge and not fall in, tempting in a way and that what made it so thrilling to play with something dangerous and believe he had control, he was fine, it's just like old times...

But If that was true then why was he ashamed of his past? Why did some of the things he did hold him down like shackles?... the truth made him feel uncomfortable, it sting like his bracelets //... the light judges you for what you are...// Scarlett's words dance in his head, she never told him no...he was just sick // am I really sick?... Everyone been calling me creepy....something is wrong with me....but am I really that bad? // Scarlett never judged him for the wrong he did, only question the good, but there was one who he never felt judged by even though she had ever right to and that was Crystal.

"...I...I don't know what I am Glory, I just want to do better then who I am...I just don't know if I can..." Crimson finally got himself to admitted his fear in a way. He wanted to change, a part of him so badly did, he knew he wasn't right and he wanted to do better but at the same time why bother? Every time he try to do better it wasn't good enough, the old way was easier and entertaining, he was his own boss, he made the rules and he didn't care about others opinions, it was a struggle, a constant tug-of-war between what was really right and what was really wrong.

Scarlett would tell him what he was about to do was right but he knew Crystal would not, Crimson let out a frustrated sigh " im changing up my plan a bit " he Mumbled, and hope he himself would be able to stay on track and not go back to old habits...

"ANNA! Dreamcatcher quickly got into Position to catch his partner and the bird she was beating the tar out of.

The Fairfin was still whipping the bird even after being caught, she was taken her tail and slamming against the black bird and even biting it.

Catch was having a hard time holding onto the two as they wrestle against each other, the bird was fighting back flapping its wings and kicking with its claws and picking with its beak " Anna! Let it go!" He hollered, Catch had never seen her be /this/ aggressive before.

"ITS NOT A BIRD! IT'S ONE OF THOSE THINGS!" Rihanna hollered back.

Eater watches as Catch struggles with Anna and the bird, but the moment Anna says it's one of those "things," he goes over and grabs it and her both away from Catch, rather roughly shakes the bird to fling Anna off, then slams it on the ground and crushes it with his boot. "Not anymore, it's not..." he growls darkly, turning his head to glance at Catch before moving away. //Don't you dare try to touch me... Don't you dare, Catch...//

Glory perks up just a little with what Crimson says. "You can, Crimson, you can...! I believe in you... I only want to help you..." she tries to encourage him, with a faint smile, though he can't see, "And you've got other friends who believe in you, too..."

A small smile came to Crimson lips, she was a Forgotten but it was still nice to hear her words, he wasn't sure on all the 'friends ' she was talking about but he did know Crystal cared about him, and maybe Purity, she did get him a toothbrush. So he had one kinda friend and Crystal was a very special friend, the closest friend he had and trusted.
The red king jumped down from the side of the building, he snuck his way out in front of the horde a ways, he was crouched down behind a car " you ready? brace yourself, I'm going to be moving fast "

Crimson then took a breath, getting himself ready, this was going to use up both magic and energy, thankfully his goal wasn't to kill all of them but to thin them out before getting them to run, that was the plan at least. He took the rocks he had collected and had placed a spell on them, he tossed the glowing blue rocks over the car and out towards the mobs path...some of the monsters took notice of the bouncing and rolling glow balls as others just flew over them set on getting to were they were being called to.

"and here we go " Sensing it was time Crimson snapped his fingers, the glowing rocks exploded, sending crystal shards flying and blue dust in the air

Crystal shards tore through wings and impaled the butterfly like shades that were close enough, some of the smaller shades were killed instantly as others were only wounded, chaos had emerged and disarray from the ambush, the monsters and with this planed opportunity the red king wasted no time...

The sound of crashing metal was added to the chaos as the car Crimson was hidden behind was sent tumbling into the hoard of monsters, crushing those who were too dazed or injured to get out of the way, but Crimson himself was right behind the vehicle in a blaze of blue fire, The red king drawled loyalty the black blade from the sheath on his back " RAHHHHHH!!" He brought the sword down and slice the car into, with that it EXPLODED! with a mixture of natural and blue fire, The blast set off the blue dust and triggered a chain reaction of EXPLOSIONS!!

ash and burning remnants of shades were still falling as Crimson emerged from the smoke, he tossed out more of his special rocks into the next layer of the horde, causing them to detonate like before but this time the red king moved into were the blast went off just moments after..
Crimson was using a similar strategies he made back when he was very successful against Nightmares, one were he was up against a Alpha who had a nasty habit of corrupting animals and used them as a hoard, he then used a similar method against a Tormented who fog was a like a thick bacteria that ate the flash, and again with a Frost who used sub zero temperatures that would freeze living things within seconds... the tactic required speed, precision and most of all timing, the explosion would create a path but if one move to soon he get hit to but if he was to slow the horde could move in on him...

The red king had done this dance a hundred times in the past, he made his way to the bigger monsters leaving behind a trail of crystals. He set his eye on one Target he cut though the tiger size butterfly wing and then quickly took loyalty and thrusted the blade under his arm to stab an approaching enemy from his back, in a quick movement Crimson pivoted to turn to face the butterfly he just stab and brought the blade down on it for a final blow, the king dance wasn't done yet, before the corpse could fall he step and push off of it for a back flip onto the 1st and larger of the two opponents, Crimson brought loyalty down into the monster head.

The red king didn't keep moving like he should have, he rode the monster to the ground and stayed in his finishing position for a moment, he was crouched on the beast still holding onto loyalty who was impaled in the scalp of the monster, Crimson was taking deep breath, he just spent a lot of energy and magic and was really feeling the effects of it, his body was practically begging to be fed some kind of magic, he was trembling and felt like he needed to throw up, his senses were getting clouded but at the same time this felt thrilling, it had been a long time since he was push to an edge and he hadn't been push to one like this before, his heart was like a drum of war in his chest and a part of him just wanted more, in a way he misses the thrill and rush, this was fun...

With everything Crimson was lost in the moment and in war a moment is all the opportunity the enemy needs...

Eater wouldn't have to worry about the Dreamer prince touching him at the moment, he was more concerned for his Fairfin who hit the ground pretty hard from the Nightmare Gruff shaking "Anna! " Catch grimaced and kneel down to pick up his partner.

The tiger had put up quite the fight but had her fair share of scrapes and marks " Anna, you alright?" Catch ask softy as he cradled his Fairfin in one arm, he took his other to examine her and give his partner some well deserved pets

"... d-id I get it?" Rihanna asked and try to move to see what happened to the bird, // Anna stubborn but I never seen her like this// "Eater took care of it " he replied and then looked to the Nightmare // what with that look? Is he mad at me? // but his Fairfin growling pulled his attention back down to her. Anna was starting at the crushed bird, black blood was the evidence that this was indeed a dark creature " it was watching you guys... it even looked at me when I was invisible and that how I knew it was something fishy and not your average bird "

" Anna why didn't you say something? " Catch asked rather concerned, he took some of the extra ribbon he had and did his best to treat her injuries.

" my gut told me if you guys got involved it take off or do something to you....so I watch it, it didn't seem to interested in me other then looking to were I was but then it looked that way " she pointed in the directions they last seen Crimson go and were Crystal, Boreas and Jason were at " it looked pretty distracted and that's when I made my move!"

Catch gave a half hearted frown at his Fairfin " Ann, promise you won't do something so Reckless by yourself next time "

" well I got to do something dramatic, I been stuck in a pocket most the year " she replied in a teasing sarcastic way

"Ann... " Catch Mumbled back, he had neglected her for a while, he couldn't even take care of himself let alone his Fairfin, just like right now others things were more pressing, he looked to Eater then in the direction Crimson had gone "... it's been awhile "

Dreameater doesn't say anything to Catch, and doesn't pay much attention to what he does now. The Nightmare looks away and off towards where he can sense Crimson and the monsters again. //... They're getting closer... I just want to kill things...// he thinks, but then glances down at his boot. //... Ugh...// he grimaces, quickly looking ahead again and rubbing his thumb on the hilt of Dawn's Sabre.

//Woah,// Glory thought as Crimson flew into action, at least she did try to brace herself. She stays quiet then as he starts fighting, and even though she's concerned with how heavily he's breathing after all of that, she's more concerned by the shades she sees coming after him. "One from your right! Be careful, Crimson!" she calls, hoping to warn the red king.

A sharp whistle came after Glory warning " huh?" Crimson turned his head to the right to see what was coming *twang* " WAHH! " the red king was sent flying his armor spark getting scraped tumbling across the street. Crimson try to catch himself digging his hands into the asphalt, he slow himself enough to look at what hit him.

One of the largest butterfly monsters had hundreds of the smaller ones latched onto one another to form a living whip but not just one, it was controlling a dozen of these tendrils, and the monster was already in motion for its follow-up attack! Crimson let out other grunt getting hit again, his armor was protecting him but how long would the red king endurance really last?

The horde of butterflies swarmed against their enemie, getting knocked down again Crimson mind races, he tossed the last of his rocks, but the beast had leaned that trick most got out of the way from the blast but it did give him the Split Second distraction, Crimson tumbled and finally had a moment to catch himself, he placed a hand to the side of his helmet " GLORY?! YOU STILL WITH ME?!" He hollered with concerned having heard her squeak getting jostled around, he didn't have much time to waste though, his mind jumped to the next thing and that was what was his opinions? He was out of his rocks, his magic was low and now he didn't have loyalty. He said a no, no word between his panting " WHERE'S THAT SWORD AT?!" He shouted scanning the battlefield with his eye for any sign of the Nightmare freak weapon but at the same time the voices in the red king head play with memories of a better sword and powers tempting him to go back to old ways, he already had done some already, he in control of himself, using a little dark magic would be fine and if he doesn't his chance of winning or even living was dropping by the minute

//He's frustrated... Eater irritated and wanting to hunt, I should see if I can claim him down, I don't want Weaver to be forced to experience anything he doesn't have to from Eater// Dreamcatcher was going to see if he could touch the Nightmare but he could sense Eater was on edge about that.

Then the sound of distant explosions happened, Catch got up and figured out the distance, he could just start to make out the smoke being to billow " is that from Crimson? " Anna thinks outloud. Dreamcatcher glace down at her, he was cradling his partner in one arm " I'm guessing so, I just hope he alright, I didn't expect him to take off on his own like that.... I know he only got to be a few years younger then us and we were trained to fight monsters, I'm sure he had training to but, I don't know... something just feels off about him, he was already struggling with his corruption " he looked out to were the smoke was "I just hope Glory can help him keep it together out there on his own"

Anna made a face, she wasn't sure what to think of the red prince just yet, other then he was rude and something was really wrong with him.

Catch was standing next to the Nightmare, he placed his free hand on Eater shoulder and asked " how are you holding up brother? If Crimson doing what he said then whatever the monsters are will be coming our way, we'll need to be ready for them and " he hesitated for a moment " Crimson, we don't know what going off on his own to fight going to do to him, we both need to be ready for anything "

"Yeah, that's from Crimson," Dreameater replies, already having been looking over that way and sensing the big aura that is Crimson's from over there, and then he snaps, "Glory is a sick, delusional, good for nothing Forgotten, but we better hope that she can do /something/ for him, maybe she could bawl her eyes out and guilt trip him or something."

But then he snaps his head around when Catch touches his shoulder again, baring his fangs in a hateful grimace. "NO!" he roars, but he soon squeezes his eyes shut, brings his left hand up to cover his eyes and forehead, and moans as Catch's magic gets to work. //NOOOO! I DON'T WANT TO CALM DOWN!! LET ME BE ANGRY, YOU STUPID FREAKING DREAMER FILTH!! I shouldn't have told him he can do that, he's going to abuse it now!! I don't care if it could save his life, I don't want Weaver to focus, I don't want to be nice to Catch, I just want to kill things... Except now I don't even feel hungry! I'm just tired... and there's something warm coming from Catch too, it's freaky! What is that!? Is it how much he cares...? ... I'm so tired... Oh, Silver Moons, I'm so tired of all this back and forth... Please help me get through this, I just want to do good... Ugh, it feels like I got water up my nose, or my sinuses cleared out...//

After a moment of standing there, the Nightmare's shoulders relax some again, and he finally mumbles, "... I'm... I'm better now, not sure for how long, but I'm better now. He moves his left hand back to his side and looks at Catch, his eyes showing clearly how much weight is on him, but he doesn't say anything about that right now. "I only hope I can keep myself under control when the monsters do get here, I dunno how well you'd be able to grab a hold of me mid battle... I'll keep fighting it as much as I can, though. I hope Glory's going to help Crim do the same," he says, forcing a small smirk for his friend.

"Right!" Fiona shouted back to Eira, racing to the car. By the time she was nearing the vehicle, some of the shades who had gone around Eira's ice were coming to her, a small group of them. The Elemental readied her greatsword as she kept running... But she briefly noticed something odd about her weapon. //...Shockwave's all covered in black goop...? Was that from that last big thing...?//

There wasn't much time for her to keep thinking on that, however, as three spider-like shades rushed at her. She managed to slice through one, but a second one dodged her attack and leaped at her and onto her face. "AAGH!" Fiona let out a yelp, then threw a swift punch. She knocked the shade off of her face, though it had gotten in a bite on her.

The velociraptor shades had witnessed some of Eira's ice magic before, and thus they tried the same trick as they had earlier--leaping over the ice. However, they hadn't seen /all/ of what Eira could do, and thus two of them misjudged the height of the spikes. That left two more--and they both beelined for her. One of the two was stopped in their tracks by her ice magic, but the other swerved around it and lunged at Eira, jaws snapping at her.

The manticore Rahab had bitten let out a beastly roar in response. At first, it simply tried to shake him off, but when that didn't work, the second manticore stepped in, about to strike at the griffin with its tail.

Crystal felt considerably relieved when she saw Christina moving a bit, but that small burst of a positive feeling didn’t last long when she looked back at the monster.

The surprise and uncertainty in the Kings voice when he said he didn’t know what was happening either wasn’t what she expected, she had been really hoping he could explain, but whatever this was, and whoever that other voice was, had to be good in some way. Or at least, that’s what Crystal was going to grasp on to for now, because it’s what she hoped to be true.

She then nodded when Arthur told her to use this opportunity, knowing it would come to that. She looked down at her hands, about to bring her weapon back when she heard another voice, this time of someone she knew.

Crystal looked back and more relief washed over her as she watched Boreas come in and land next to her. The poor girl looked like she was about to fall apart, but she held it together and gave a single nod after the Elemental asked his question, “..Please,” she said. There was a small part of her that didn’t want Boreas to get involved out of fear he would get hurt too, but she knew he could handle himself, and there was no way she could do this on her own..

Eira yelped and staggered back from the final attacking velociraptor, raising her arm to block the bite and protect her face. She fell back onto her bum, caught by surprise, but quickly put a hand on top of the shade's snout as it clamped onto her and wrestled against her. "Get... off of me!" She injected frost into its skin, seeing shadowy blue swirls begin to spread across its dark skin.

Rahab's gaze darted to the second manticore when it approached, and in a rush he beat his wings ferociously to try and disrupt the attack. He still felt its stinger slice his side and he hissed, but it could've been much worse. He kept clawing at the one that he was on top of him, reaching for its face to blind it or incapacitate it.

Arthur was relieved to that his keeper was getting help [ hang in there kid, you got to keep it together, we don't know what going on still] he was trying to think how he could help more other then hid words, at the same time the king did feel something different but familiar at the same time, Arthur wondered was he actually doing something? It was obvious some kind of time spell but that kind of magic was almost thought of as a myth even in the kings days, as far as he knew his key didn't have time magic so Who or what would have that kind of power? who did this? And why did he feel different, he wanted to talk to Crystal more, figure this out but that would have to wait. [ Crystal I don't think this spell will last long, I don't know what happening but my gut just says hurry...] The king voice had a weight to it, like he was growing tired.

Jason zip to the top and in seeing the bizarre phenomenon the first thing that popped in his mouth was what was on his mind" Oh Whoa! Dude! Is that some kind of time spell?! That Awesome! " he seen stuff like this before from a video games of course.
" a time spell?" Christina replied still wide eyes, but she knew she couldn't let her guard down.

" Admiral! If games taught me anything we ain't going to have much time! Let's send this thing packing!" Jason shouted loading up one of his explosive, he wasn't even hoping the Captain understood what he was talking about, he was just expecting him to know, he needed to get the monster /up/

After Fiona had killed one of them and knocked the other off, the two remaining spider-shades changed up their strategy. They kept their distance from the Elemental and starting shooting silk at her to stall until they had backup.

When Fiona saw the silk coming, she instinctively lifted up her arm to block it, "Oh, no you don't!" She growled, jumping forward and attempting to make a quick jab at a spider with her sword... Of course 'quick' wasn't a real option in her book, so she missed, getting even more webbed-up in the process.
//Augh, dangit! I can't let myself get stuck!!//

...Her solution to this problem was; cut the silk as best as she could with her great sword, and then /chuck it./ It'd be a risk, but it would be faster than her trying to move herself, and the sword. And so she angled her blade strangely, trying to free herself from some of the silk. Despite it being a struggle, she did manage to get herself mobile enough to pitch her weapon at one of the spiders--purposely overshooting it slightly.

The velociraptor held strong to Eira's arm, even trying to use its claws against her... That is, until she injected it with ice. Upon feeling this magic, the monster released Eira's arm with a shriek, backing away and shaking its head in an attempt to stop the spread.

The manticore Rahab was perched atop let out a yowl as the griffin's claws struck its eyes, thoroughly blinding it. It wasn't going to wait any longer, it took a running start, about to full on roll to get Rahab off. The second followed behind, watching for the best time to attack again.

Rahab and Fiona both had been injected with something like venom from the shades. However, it would be slow acting, and there wasn't a ton in either of them... But over time, it would still act as a poison.

Dreamcatcher stay calm as the Nightmare bash his friend Glory and roared in frustration with getting touched, he didn't like abusing this abilities that he didn't fully understand but it was Weaver who ask him to and it seem to calm the Nightmare back down. // just hang in there Weaver a bit longer, were still working on how to fix this // it killed the Dreamer inside to see his brother suffer so much, he just did the best he could to focus on his brother and his emotions.

" I know brother, I know " Catch replied quietly, he knew Weaver would be thankful but Nightmares didn't feel such things// is there some way I could give him emotions? I'm able to do something by touching him but Weaver right, I know there going to be those times to, moons I wish there was some way to help Weaver more... get Eater out or just make it possible for Weaver to feel things again and not just what Eater does// Catch just let out a sigh and patted Eater shoulder " let just hope that doesn't happen, I'll do what I can to stay close to help you keep a clear head " the Dreamer then looked back over to were the distance sound of combat was happening " I hope so to..." he around seeing the black birds circling in that area "... Weaver? Can you see what they doing? " he asked, still holding onto his brother with one had and then nodded his head towards the Direction seen he was still holding Anna

Anna stay quiet as the two talked, she hated seeing Weaver and Eater going back and forth " We got your back Weaver!" She cheered her words of encouragement, but her partner last question got her to look in Crimson and Glory Direction, however she noticed it wasn't just over Crimson the birds had gathered but their was eyes on them as well... more black birds were perched on the buildings and light poles, watching, waiting for something... Rihanna glowed orange and let out a quiet hiss at the site of them " I don't like them..."

Boreas gave a confident nod to Crystal. He would've said more to reassure her, judging by how jittery she looked, but he felt pressed to handle the situation ASAP. He looked back to the beast frozen in midair.

//Time spell, hm...?// The Captain's mind was definitely busy on what exactly was happening here, especially with Jason zipping up and making his assessment on it... But they didn't have time to stand there and inspect everything.
"Got it." He simply replied to his orange-haired ally's shouts, understanding everything but the games reference.

An idea came to the icy Elemental's mind and he quickly got to work, moving to face the monstrous dog's side and extending his left arm. Immediately, he blasted ice magic into the ground, which rose up and formed a shape so quickly it almost looked like running water. He took his right hand and grabbed onto his left arm, methodically mixing two types of magic together to create the workable object that he envisioned...

"...Alright. I send it off, and you send the bang?" Boreas looked to Jason, now standing at a shining, blue ice-cannon. He'd formed it in seconds, and now held his right hand at the end of it. One jolt of electricity would make it fire, and if he'd calculated his plan accordingly, it would be enough to send the monster flying... (And a bonus part of his plan was to send it through the billboard with the ominous message.) "...I'll fire it on three!" He started his countdown--though he skipped one completely and went straight to two.

(Eee, my arm doing much better and I get a full day off tomorrow x3 it a good day and I think tomorrow will be to~)

Crystal didn’t like how Arthur was starting to sound.. “It’s okay, we’ll take care of it..” she said, worried for the King and feeling the need to reassure /him/ instead of the other way around.

Hearing a zipping sound, the girl looked over in time to see Jason make an entrance too, and seeing yet another familiar face coming to the rescue caused her to smile for a very brief moment. As she watched and listened to Jason and Boreas she quickly realized they seemed to have some sort of a plan already. Crystal observed as the Elemental made his ice cannon, suddenly getting the general idea of what they were going for.

Because of this, Crystal took a couple steps back and thought to herself, ‘please let this work..’

Eira gasped as the velociraptor released her and she tried to kick it back while it recoiled. Staggering to her feet and keeping her hurting arm close to herself, she held out the other hand towards the shade. //Now's my chance to finish it off...// She figured she'd try something different, inspired by Rahab. The shiftress pointed a single finger at the shade and directed her ice magic through it. Instead of a wild splash of ice spikes like she normally produced, ice shot out in a thin line like a streaming bullet this time and pierced the velociraptor right through its chest, finishing it.
Eira stood there a second, sort of impressed with herself, then shook herself back to reality. She rushed over to the car and peered in at its passengers. They hadn't gone anywhere, especially with the doors having been smashed into place, but they were still alive. "It's gonna be okay, I'm getting you out," she began as she tugged at the door. It was jammed, and the handle was done for. But she kept pulling as hard as she could, slowly getting the door to creak more and more outwards.

Rahab clutched onto the manticore tighter, preparing for it to roll over, but then he gave a scheming glance backwards. Abruptly, he jumped, shifting midair to land in a crouch in his human form. Magic flashed as he summoned his staff in his hands, which he jabbed upwards just as the second manticore charged over. It struck the beast's underbelly, and a ripple of glowing blue magic runes exploded outwards with a boom, taking out the manticore in a blink.

The Nightmare nods his head, but stays quiet for just a moment longer, still feeling the inner turmoil of two wills trying to fight each other. //I... I don't like this! I don't like this thing that Catch is doing, it feels weird, and it's making me so tired! But... I do kind of like it, it's nice to get a break... N-no! No, that's not...
Eater, don't forget everything that happened with Crimson on the way here, he was threatening to kill you, remember?
Well yeah, but he's not here right now...
You know he's gonna come back at some point, and then what would he do?//

Dreameater grunts quietly, but then he looks in the direction Catch nodded his head. "It looks like Crimson's fighting the monsters over there himself, his life aura doesn't look so good... But he doesn't look quite as bad as Blue did, at least." After saying that, he grimaces slightly. //... It was a stupid idea to let Crim go off on his own like that... No it wasn't! I didn't want to argue with him, he might've tried to do something to me if I did! But he's super corrupted by something evil, I know there's no way I could've convinced you to work with me, but letting him go off on his own like that would be like letting me out into the city without anyone else to watch me... I'm glad at least Glory's with him, but he needs something more, and there's no way we'd get over to him in time...//

He does hear Rihanna's comment and briefly glances at the birds too, but there's more pressing things on his mind right now. "Catch, can you stick some more light magic things into those crystals for Crim to absorb them? He needs something, honestly he needs more backup, but I don't think we could get over there in time if we tried," the Nightmare suggests, looking back to his friend with a serious look on his face.

Crimson rolled out of the way of the attack, He let out a tried grunt, he was pushing himself but if let himself take a break he get hit again // ughhh! This world freaking sucks! // The dark thought crossed hid mind again, he could tip the scale...no one would have to know he used dark magic...

Crimson mind snapped back to the Forgotten words, " o-ver to the right? " he repeats out loud, his voice was carrying both his physical and mental strain, the red king took mental note on the sword was somewhere to his right, he didn't want to turn to see with his left eye just yet, last time that didn't go well. Crimson knew he had to keep moving but in the middle of a swarm of monsters with little resources, the king and Forgotten were in a rough spot...// it's over to the right... I'll have e-nough to get there...get the sword, take out the puppet master...// he decided to trust her this time, the red king pushed off, crystal formed under his feet as the back of his armor changed, fire erupted from his back as his cape dissolved, Crimson shot forward like a rocket! He spotted Loyalty for only a brief moment as the smaller butterflys in his way became nothing more then bugs on a front of a car... the red king said a frustrated no, no word when his visor got clouded, he didn't have enough magic to complete ignite himself and continued with his next phase of his plan but he wouldn't get that chance anyway...

Something hit Crimson hard enough he black out for a moment but soon the red king since started to blur back, first it was the sounds of hundreds of wings buzzing but his vision was still dark, he could since the mass of monsters around him and Glory but couldn't see them" ... G-lory?..."he moaned trying to get up but couldn't, something was holding Crimson down or he was to weak to push it off right now //... I /hate/ this world...// he thought bitterly, he was tired and now he was grumpy

The blind manticore was the only one remaining after Rahab destroyed the other with his magic. Even with being blind, its keen sense of sound told it that the other shades that had come with it had either been killed, or run away themselves. Since Rahab was no longer on top of it, the manticore took the opportunity to run as well, using what senses it had left to attempt to escape.

The spider saw Fiona's sword flying its way and tried to dodge it much like its ally had earlier, but due to the sheer size of the blade, and the Elemental overshooting it on purpose, it still managed to hit its target.

Fiona then turned to glare at the last spider, still trying to immobilize her... And well, it may have been working some. She struggled to move her one arm that she hadn't cut loose.
But once the shade realized most of its allies were being defeated and backup wasn't going to come any time soon, it started fleeing. "HEY!!" Fiona was about to give chase, but found that even without her great sword, a pretty big creature with eight legs could still outrun her. If she had tried flying, maybe she could've caught it? But... That wasn't her biggest priority.

After scowling about that, she glanced back to Eira and Rahab, who had, or were dealing with the shades threatening them pretty well. The Elemental hurried to pick up Shockwave and free herself from the rest of the webs. //C'mon... Need to make sure everyone's okay...//

"I'm... I'm still here...!" Glory quietly mumbles, being squished up against Crimson's cheek in his helmet, and sounding rather shaken from the impact of everything. "Are you ok?"

Jason nodded and spun a chamber on his crossbow, it put a coding on his bolt, if he was going to go big he might as well make it bigger! " pull! " he amid his bow judging by the angle of the cannon

"... I-I'm sorry..." the man voice whispered as if he wanted to do more but couldn't, and then time resumed... the monster snap its jaws right when it got fire and launched into the air.

Jason pulled his trigger right as the monster hit the billboard and EXPLODE!!!
the orange hair boy did the first thing that any honorable guy should do in this situation and toss himself in front of the closet girl to Shield her from the debris as it fell, who was Cristina.

Cristina cover herself when the explosion went off and would take her a moment to recover from what just happened.

[ what? Wait! ] Arthur called to the other voice but just like that he was gone and so was the unusual feeling he had, the king didn't have a lot of time to think as an explosion just went off [ Crystal take cover!]

After firing his cannon, Boreas slid over to Crystal to assist in shielding her from whatever kind of blast that would follow as well. He didn't have enough time to make a very stable ice wall, but he summoned up the best he could manage.
The initial retina-searing EXPLOSION made him squint, but the captain still scrutinized the area of impact to ensure they had actually taken care of the beast.

(Hey guys, I think I'm gonna go to bed early tonight, I still don't feel goood, and I don't think I'm gonna get anymore posts in. It was kinda fun though, hopefully next weekend I won't be dead X'D

Dreamcatcher green eyes drifted to the birds watching them, they were just staring ether at them or in the directions of Crimson " yeahhhhh, I don't like them ether " he replied to his Fairfin, it was making him feel anxious knowing that these 'birds' might not all really be birds

The Dreamer prince looked when his brother spoke up, seen the look on his face Catch knew this had to be serious and not only that he felt it to " yeah! I'm on it! " he pass Anna over to the Nightmare so he could use both hands.
" What?! Hay!" Rihanna at first snapped but that was only because she was so focused on the birds, she quickly calm down figure out what was going on.

Catch didn't waste to much time, he first summon other spear and stuck it in the crystals Crimson left, this time however the crystals were far more evasive in absorbing the magic Spears but just like the first one the crystals did spot, though it look like didn't want to " That so freaky..." he Mumble but it was a really good guess that meant it had worked until it stopped, Catch dropped other spear and the same thing happened " I don't know how this really works, but I hope it's doing something for him" he thinks out loud dropping other spear In the crystals.

then a thought crossed his mind// he needs magic, I can summon my light shards and see if thought do any better?// Catch did just that, he closes his eyes and focus, the Dreamer wasn't in his true form were he uses his wings to construct in control them, he rises hid left arm and turned his wrist as his fingers fan out into position, Catch glowed as just off to left above his hand a bright light formed, it soon took shape as a long shard of light ( Catch hasn't used this in like 5 years our time!) He turned his hand and the shard followed his movement levitating in the air, Dreamcatcher glace over at Eater, just by how bright the shard was told that he had it about half its power which was enough to cut a tree in two, he was being careful not to hit his friend with it on accident.

" let see what happens with something like this" the Dreamer prince thinks outloud then carefully move his arm into a down position watching as the shard follows his command, the shard touch the crystals and immediately the crystals began to absorb the light magic, but unlike the Spears where the crystals grew on it, with this, they were pulling the shard into itself, Catch grimaced feeling the pull the crystals had on his shard it felt strong enough that I could pull him in with it...the Dreamer cut his condition and took a few steps back and watch wide eyes as the crystals for consuming his raw magic like that. with how aggressive it was Catch was expecting the crystals just to eat all of it but it did stop to, just enough to say it did thought, with how little was left sticking up

" ...its like I'm feeding some kind of creature" he thinks outloud
