The dog monster didn't show any signs of pain despite the wound that just suffered, it was like it now only had one purpose and that was to kill Crystal no matter what happened to itself.

The bullet hits the Cut Throat and it busted into red sparks that dissolve like Embers // what? It just pop?// the brief thought that it was to easy cross Christina mind but it was short live with the more pressing matter.

" Crystal!" She Yelled and rushed rushed towards the dog monsters who had the girl pin down, the officer tackled the monster to get it off the girl, she took her empty gun and started to use it as a blunt weapon

As she was tackled, Crystal lost her mental grip on her weapon and it devolved away, which left her to fend off the dog monster on top of her by hand because there was no moment to get it back.. She was so scattered she didn’t know what was really happening at this point, she just tried to shove away the monster and keep it from hurting her any further.

The girl thought she heard her name, but it sort of went in one ear and out the other.. The next thing she knew, the monster was ripped off of her, and the first thing she did was force herself to roll over so she could get up.

Crystal winced in pain as she moved, but when she made it to her knees, she looked over at the monster and Christina. The site of the officer bashing the beast with her gun wasn’t pleasant, but it was buying them a little time.. Crystal didn’t want to waste that, but she didn’t know what to do next.. If being stabbed didn’t slow the thing down, she wasn’t sure what would.

Josh look over towards were the shot fired " Chris!" He went to go run to find his partner but Jason put a hand up " stay here and keep an eye on thses things " as he explains to the officer Jason wave to Boreas to go, he would catch up

"Like hel-!" Josh stopped his protest when Jason interrupt it again " Dude we got this!" But these people need someone here "

Boreas nodded at Jason's wave, and wasted no time before heading off, swiftly flying over the car barricade and heading towards the building Josh had pointed to. He tried identifying where the sound had originated from, figuring it must've been outside for it to echo like it did. Perhaps the monster calling in others had been on a high vantage point? Either way, he could see better from up above.
He wasn't going to fly straight to the top through the open air and risk being spotted by anything else, but rather, he got to the side of the building and ascended from there.

The t-rex probably could not have predicted Fiona's wild plan even if it had tried. As the dino charged at Fiona and bared its jaws to bite down with a mighty roar, the Elemental slid right underneath it and its teeth clamped on nothing. The momentum of its heavy head kept moving though, as well as its charging body in the opposite direction. As its head instinctively tried to chase after Fiona, its feet slipped from under it and it let out a confused "Ruh?" With its weight swinging over it's head, the t-rex took a tumble, rolling over the ice and crashing in a heap of shadow dino on the street. Fiona's unexpected plan actually went really well.

Rahab leaped on the moment that the dino's belly was revealed to the air. He opened his bird hand palms and slammed them together to make the icy arrows whiz towards the t-rex. They struck the shade with a burst of ice magic, and ice began to spread over its skin as it roared and thrashed furiously.

Eira stared wide eyed at what happened, amazed and honestly excited about how it turned out. "Yeah Fiona! Finish it off!" She called out with a cheering fist in the air.

Fiona slid a bit farther even after the t-rex had flipped over. However, when she found out she was still in one piece and heard Eira's cheering, she cheered back with a, "WE GOT 'IM!!"

The Elemental quickly got up, having to slide herself off of the ice first--but thankfully, Rahab was using his own magic to keep the beast down. Then she rushed in, taking a flying leap and bringing her great sword down on the shade's chest.

...At that same moment however, the majority of the shades who had been chasing them were managing to get past the barricades. First just one or two, but quickly followed by a horde of them--bursting through the windows of abandoned buildings or just squirming past what Eira and Fiona had set up.
The group of shades split up, half going for Fiona and Rahab, and the other half going for Eira and the car with people inside.

The monster rams into the car, roaring as it further injures its shoulder more, but it only stumbles a moment as it notices Terra sprinting off to the side.
Of course, if it had seen him at a different angle, the shade would've realized the car went right through him... but Terra knew it'd be hard to catch, so he's used this as a rather sneaky opportunity.

He bolts toward a nearby building that looks to have already taken some structural damage, knowing with how big and fast the shade is, it'll catch up to him in no time in his human form. Indeed, the shade plows through his ghostly form shortly before barreling straight into the building. The stability of the building drastically decreases upon impact: rubble falls, the building itself wobbles, and some pieces come down, hanging on by only some wires.

Terradream stops the moment the shade runs through him, quickly taking note of how its collision affects the building. He'd tried his best to hold the gun in a way that it wouldn't get knocked out of his hand as the monster went past, so at least he's got that, it's just what to do now... //Sparky, I didn't and still don't think anyone's in this building, but double check it for me just in case,// he asks his Fairfin, moving a bit more to the side as he watches the creature stumble about.

Sparky quickly gets to work and flies through the building, but he does tell his partner: //Yo, if I don't find anyone, I can help be a big distract for that thing if you don't get it!//

//Got it,// Terra simply replies, waiting for the monster to notice him again.

" just stop saying that..."Crimson let out a frustrated sigh, both because they were wasting time but also for his attitude towards the Fairfin but his pride keep him from apologizing.

The red king looked over towards were he since the flying monsters, he rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand ( out of habit, he got armor on ) " I been thinking about that..." he then looked down at Glory " maybe there a way we could help each other?
your not able to keep up with me, not like this but what if you were in my armor to? I know it sounds stupid but when the fighting starts I won't stop for you "

The part that she could help him with he didn't really want to admit, it sounded stupid in his head anyway so for the moment the red king didn't say anything more

"I don't think that's stupid... You got room in there for me though...?" Glory quietly asks, noting how he doesn't really give her any details on how she can help him. //I... I need to help him focus, too... I don't need to distract him... I shouldn't cry... It's what Weaver would need, too...// she tells herself.

The red king didn't make comment on the stupid part, this still felt weird, was he even doing it right? Being considerate, it had been so long since he cared about others.... Crystal was his only friend and she was the only person Crimson care about in the way he did, she was special to him but what about others? He didn't consider anyone else a ' friend ' he kinda knew Purity so she was alright, but he didn't know anyone else, but was a Fairfin even worth it? To him they were not people and yet he was going out of his way for her like she was one.

Crimson glace down but was he doing it right? It was still strange to him, it felt foreign and yet distantly familiar. " it be fine, I think." He moved his free hand to the front of his helmet " my head isn't this big, my helmet go out farther then my face...even with that it still be close quarters, but you can be on my right side, I can't see out of that eye anymore so that space is pointless in my helmet " he Rambles a bit and adds on " it's ether there or I suff you in my pocket but my pocket won't have a view "

"Oh... Alright," Glory mumbles after the king's explanation, then offers, "I can try to look out from there and... and warn you if I see something coming..."

" just make it quick getting inside, this place isn't exactly healthy for me " Crimson moved his free hand to the right front side of his face, his took a breath before opening a small area of his helmet, the magic pressure hist as it was released. Glory would be able to see the right side of Crimson face, this two-toned hair that covered his eye patch

The Nightmare shrugs as Catch thinks about his abilities out loud, but snorts and smirks when Catch offers the ribbon to him too. "Hey! I've only got two hands, you know," he playfully snaps at his friend, although despite saying that, he instinctively brings out his shackled chains to take something... "But alright, uhhhh, let's see, I can tie this ribbon around one of the spears and throw it, and you can make as much of a ribbon as you can," he says, pinching the ribbon with one shackled chain, wrapping his other shackled chain around the other spears to hold them, setting down Dawn's Sabre for the moment, and taking one spear in his right hand, before then taking the ribbon in his left hand to tie it around the spear. "You ready? ... Here goes!"

Dreamcatcher try to keep himself from showing the mixture of emotions that just shifted, he found his friend teasing amusing but that feeling quickly turned into weirded out as Eater used his chains, it reminded the Dreamer prince of when he first expected his dark form, that his own chains moved and did things like they had a mind of their own// I know Weaver, you only got two hands, well get you back to normal one day// the sad but hopeful thought linger in his mind.

The Dreamers did his best to set aside his uneasiness and try to keep things light hearted " alright let's do this!" He smirked and put this focus on the ribbon he was making.

With that, the Nightmare smirks and lifts up the spear. Figuring he'll need all of his strength to even throw it a good distance, he does just that... and is rather stunned when the spear doesn't simply impale itself in the side of the distant building--it pierces through the wall and keeps going. Dreameater stands there for a moment, staring blankly, but then glances over at Catch. "... U-uh... That wasn't supposed to happen..."

Dreamcatcher was equally as surprised, he flinched at the impact " huh...! " his jaw dropped in shock " I?... I guess you have some new abilities to "

"Ok..." Glory quietly replies, watching as Crimson opens up that little bit of his helmet. She flies up there and crawls into his helmet, trying her best to not be too much of a bother--but once she's in there, she does rub up against his face cutely while making a soft, rather weak, purring noise.

I didn't think I was that much stronger," Dreameater admits, smirking faintly at his friend, not seeming to consider or remember that he blocked the Forsaken of Rage's hammer with his sword... Danieru, who can punch the ground and split the earth open... "Hey, how far'd that thing go, anyway...? Can you try pulling it back?" he then asks.

(Yeah ;w; She knows how to act cute, even if she doesn't look very cute at the moment :'D )

While the Keyhunters are in the midst of the war zone...

Much farther away, where the Nightmare King's spell did not reach, the police are trying to escort and evacuate people out of the city. Even though this area was not affected, the city as a whole has been deemed unsafe for anyone to remain here. A large crowd of people are gathered here, in all states of emotions--panic, sorrow, anger, etc... And among the group of humans, a man in his late 30's holds an umbrella over himself and a much younger girl with crutches. The man has greasy black hair that he's slicked back, and is wearing mostly fine black leather clothes to match, with leather pants, fine shoes, and a leather jacket, on top of a black turtleneck. He has gold and silver rings on all of his fingers with different gemstones in each, strange hoop earrings with more shiny jewels in them, a gold chain necklace and another gold and silver necklace underneath, with a unique amethyst-type stone in the center that has almost a sunset colored hue to it, similar to that of the seven tiny feathers that surround it: three on one side, four on the other. The golden tanned skin of the man's face is marred by splotches of red acne, though that doesn't sully his vivid sea-green colored eyes. Possibly his most noticeable feature is his large, gaudy, bejeweled nose ring that sticks out like a neon light on his face.

The man makes a face, squeezes his eyes shut, then sneezes into his arm. "Uuuugh... Man, I can definitely tell my allergies have gotten waaaay worse since the last time I visited here..." he mumbles, trying to wipe his nose on his sleeve with his nose ring in the way. Then he looks over at the girl beside him. "How're you holding up, kiddo?"

Christina did her best to keep the monster down but it fought back wildly, the monster shade only had one purpose now and that was to kill the key hunter named Crystal...

The shade grab the officers armed that she was using, clamping down with his jaws the monster through Christina of himself, in a blink the beast was pushing off with it'd feet to leap at the human girl again.

[ CRYSTAL! Watch out! ]Arthur called out to his keeper for her life was in danger.

"...no...not again...." a different voice then the king of old spoke and at the end of his words something happened...

Arthur key and the pocket watch were glowing in their hiding place... a new symbol appeared on the watch and the key and then watch ticking stop as a soft Melody played...

The monster leaping at Crystal Frozen midair as if someone pause time itself... however it was only for the darkness and though it seem time had stopped, it was more like time had been slow down.

Josh didn't want to be left behind but knew he had to, the man grunted and pointed to the building he left me his partner head to " go! "

Jason took his free hand and did it quick salute before turning and running off towards the building, as he was maneuvering around the obstacles he was changing the bolt to his bow, putting in a grapple hook, the orange hair boy aimed for the highest point of the building and fired, the grapple hook impaled into the side of the wall, he held onto his bow as it zip him up the line

Crimson rolled his eye feeling Glory and hearing her cute sounds " alright, alright, you're welcome I guess "he slide his hand over the opening both to make sure she was all the way in first and to close the hole.

The red prince took a breath before he went to get up but in doing so he got an unpleasant sniff of the Forgotten that was now stuck in his helmet// ugh, I forgot about their smell... it's not like she can help that...// he went to rub under his nose but of course he couldn't, for a brief moment Crimson thoughts were on maybe he could see about helping Glory after all this, but unfortunately that have to wait.

Not wanting to waste any more time Crimson put hid hands on his knees and push himself up, but just before standing all the way the red king stumbled forward and placed a hand to his face as voices whispered in his mind

// shut up! Leave me alone! //Crimson took his other hand and reach back to grip the hilt of Loyalty, just like he used to out of habit with Scarlet to distract the voices

Some of the birds that were watching turn to look in the directions that Crystal was in and all that had been happening there... some of them coil back as others puff up and hisses, some birds didn't look away from the red prince, watching him as others flutter with anxiousness

The girl was terrified for the officer, she saw the way the monster was fighting and knew something bad was about to happen..

Crystal was just getting to her feet when the monster threw Christina to the side. As Arthur called out and she saw the monster jump at her again, all the girl could do was collapse back down to the roof out of instinct. In the span of the next few seconds she realized a couple things.. First and foremost was that she wasn’t being torn to shreds.

Crystal lifted her head and gasped, her eyes widening at the sight of the beast stuck in midair. She was trembling and breathing so heavy she couldn’t hardly hear anything else, but fighting the pain she was in the girl stumbled to her feet once more and got out of the way. The second thing she had realized was there had been a voice from someone else and wasn’t sure where it came from. “Ar..Arthur.. what’s going on? Who was that?” Crystal asked while stepping back some more, glancing over to where Christina had been thrown, her stomach twisting as she looked to see if the officer was okay.

Morning Glory tries her best to get into a good position to look through the helmet's visor without being too distracting for the red king, but notices how he stumbles as he gets up. "Are you ok?" she asks, concerned again for his well-being.

It doesn't take long at all for the shade to regain its bearings again and notice Terra, but this time it doesn't immediately charge after him. It's noticed how he's not running away, even though he has every opportunity, and is now staring it down...

Knowing he'll need to buy Sparky a bit more time to check the building, Terra stares down the shade, waiting and watching if it'll make a move, and after just a moment he pulls his gun up to take aim at it.

The shade, seeing this, tries to bolt as quick as it can out of the way, of course it winces in pain from its shattered shoulder, but it would much rather deal with that than take another unnecessary bullet...

However, Terra never actually pulled the trigger. He figured anything with half a functioning brain would try to avoid getting shot, so he didn't bother wasting his ammo. //Let's see how long I can bluff...// he thinks to himself, swiftly backing up as he goes to aim at the shade again.

Catch looked over at Eater still holding the surprised look on his face, he then looked back toward the building " huh, I guess so " he then stop what he was doing and started to pull the ribbon, he kept pulling for a bit "uh... how far did it go?" He finally felt tension on his ribbon and gave a goofy smirk " finally found something, not sure what though "

(HI GALAXY AND FADE!)

With Fiona's final blow to its exposed chest, the t-rex shade let out an echoing roar as its shadowy body disintegrated and vanished. It was defeated, butt here was still a lot more to fight.

Eira looked back in panic at the sound of the approaching shades. "Oh moons... There really is no end to them, is there?" She raised her slightly-shaking arms, tired from the fighting, and blasted another wave of ice spikes at the shades, either to pierce them or otherwise make another difficult barricade to pass.

From where he lay, Rahab tipped his head back to see the shades, and he groaned. "/Moons/. These bird-brains don't quit." The griffin rolled onto his feet and inhaled deeply, then heaved his wings forward and created dozens of thin ice shards, like little arrowheads, that sailed into the scattered crowd of shades. "Time to grab those people and scram!"

"Ah, I'm curious to see what more we can do, but I think now isn't the time... Wanna try setting up our net trap thing, and we can play around later?"

Everything happen so fast, one moment Christina was bite and tossed to the side and the next that same monster who attacked her was now frozen in time.

The pink officer was on her side when it happened, she looked up just when she since it, some unseen Force, magic she never experienced before... though she was in pain it didn't seem as bad as before// what kind of magic is this?...// she thought in wonder.

[ I-... I'm not sure...] Arthur was just as surprised, he had never experienced something like this ether [ you heard that to? ] he went quite as he thought, there was a unknown voice that he knew wasn't one of the kings but it seem familiar somehow, then there was this power? It wasn't just from his key, a part of him yes but there was something else at play here but maybe it wasn't the place right now [ I don't know what going on but I suggest taking this as an opportunity ]

After finishing the t-rex, Fiona needed a moment to figure out how to get her sword lifted up while she was on ice, but she soon managed... Just as the group of shades were nearing them. "Oh, that's A LOT!" She exclaimed, sliding herself across the ice towards Eira and the car full of people, heeding Rahab's words. "NOW we gotta get them to a safer place!!"

The shades heading for Eira were definitely set back by the ice spikes, though there were a few velociraptor shades who managed to leap over them. They split up as they all headed her way, baring their fangs and claws.

Quite a handful of the smaller shades in both groups were picked off by Rahab's attack, the arrow-shards piercing right through them. However, there were still a few left, along with two larger manticore-like shades. One of which withstood the attack. They bounded straight towards him, pointed tails ready to strike.

"Agreed - help them out so we cna get out of here!" She said to Fiona. Eira backed up and looked around as the veloci-shades circled her, trying to assess the best way to defend herself as quickly as possible. She tried a stomp attack, sending a ripple of ice around her that sprouted ice spikes as it grew outwards, hopefully inpaling at least a few of the dinos. Tilting back down, he landed on top of the second manticore and bit onto the scorpion tail with his beak so it couldn't stab at him. //I don't know what a shade could do with those, and I'm not about to find out!//

" ...yeah, I'll be fine..." Crimson tapped his forehead with the palm of his hand " it's an old complained of mine, I... I dealt with it before " the red king stood up and rolled his neck// just stay focused on the task //

Crimson took off, making his way to across the roof tops

Boreas reached the roof of the building as swift as the wind, but the situation he discovered wasn't what he was expecting. //What the heavens...?// His eyes darted from the very different looking monster that was seemingly frozen in time to the billboard with the message--his disguised monocle being the only thing allowing him to read it.

"Yo!" He called to Crystal and Christina, landing on the rooftop beside the human girl and readying his magic. "...Need some assistance?"
