A reference of Echo’s Elemental Form! Sound Elementals are a type I’ve mentioned in the past, but never really delved into… So this’ll be partially a reference, and partially a small bit of lore on them!

Of course, being a Dreamer, Echo has several key differences about this form that only he has… His green eyes and blonde hair that don’t match his magic, his pearls, and his fins mimicking his true form’s crest!

But other than that, the rest of his traits are that of a pure Sound Elemental. Rather than ears, they have sensitive fins for picking up and amplifying sound. Their markings are actually ‘speaker holes’ that work together with their fins to amplify their magic. Their skin has properties similar to aluminum—which sound travels through at one of the fastest rates. They have hooves, usually with speaker holes in the bottom as well. Lastly, their hair is a bit more like ghostly waves of magic than actual hair… Still functions about the same way and would feel pretty soft to the touch, though you’d probably also be able to feel a light vibration from it. It also glows.

Sound Elementals in general are more like a subtype. You don’t see many pure ones, though they do exist. Most Sound Elementals are hybrids—after all, doesn’t sound have to originate from something?
