"snapped as he looked over his shoulder, he then tuned his head quickly forward, the armor of kings was something to be proud of, it was something of honor, of Valor, but most of all it was a symbol of a kings integrity....it was something that was both given and earned.... Crimson did not speak of his armor because how he received his was tainted, he did not follow the Same ceremony as his ancestors before him, what he did was shameful and he knew it...

The red king didn't want to think on how he got his armor and that it looked creepy, so he looked up to see what the other thing Glory was taking about " birds? I don't see any birds " he replied bluntly, Crimson shook his head getting frustrated with the Fairfin and her questions " you should go back to your partner, your staring to see things... " he said getting up on car to get higher.

All the wild the birds continue to watch

Glory flinches when Crimson snaps at her, and doesn't say anything in return. She only curls up into a tiny little ball on his shoulder and makes a rather pitiful whimper...

After a moment, she starts to think on what he said a bit more. //... He doesn't... He doesn't see the birds...?// she asks herself, seriously considering if she is seeing things or not, even she knows she's not a perfectly healthy Fairfin... And then part of her does want to go back to her Nightmare, to Weaver, to check on him and make sure he's ok--but he asked her to stay here with Crimson, would he get mad at her if she left him and went back? Not wanting to go against Weaver's request, Glory stays put on the red king's shoulder, weakly rubbing her face with one paw.

"You could try it, he did say these ones are set to reflect magic, I think, so it might even bounce off? You could try sticking it to it to see what happens," Dreameater suggests, rubbing his forehead and nose with his free hand. Having his mind kind of cleared out by Catch's magic, especially this time since Eater knew that'd happen and wanted to resist it some, was a very strange feeling indeed... It leaves him feeling a little fuzzy when Catch stops and pulls his hand back. //... But that's not important right now, I need to be able to think, and he's helped me with that...// he tries to tell himself, taking a deep breath and glancing back up to the electrical vine wires. //Mmmm, I get the feeling those are gonna end up being problems for us if we don't do something about them...//

Catch took note on the Nightmare, it worry him how back and forth Eater and Weaver was. // I just hope Weaver will be alright...maybe I should keep a hand on him longer? But with only one good arm it's going to be tough and I know when the battle actually starts I doubt I'll be able to....// a wave of frustration wash over the Dreamer but what could he do? Catch decided if he see Eater take over more he step in when he can to try to calm him so Weaver could show himself more like now.

The Dreamer prince took his spear and walked over to the crystal floor, he looked to the Nightmare and said " here goes nothing " he then carefully poke the end of this spear to crystal, he let go and step back when the blueish crystal begin to climb up his spear but much to his surprise they stopped about halfway " those things are freaky " he commented not sure how to take Crimson magic but it was fascinating at the same time " what else do you think we can do?"

Eira studied the rubble for any sign of the child, then rushed to the trail in the ashes. "Perhaps this was his doing..." She followed it through the building, weaving around the charred buildings, the smoke still heavy in the air. The shiftress kept an arm over her nose and mouth, trying not to breathe it in. After climbing over some rubble, Eira sensed a gust of fresh air up ahead and suddenly found herself at a back exit to the building. The door had been broken away from its frame, and the footprints went through it and vanished, having run out of ashes to mark up. "Well... Good news is that he made it out. Bad news is, there's no sign of him from here..."

Up above, Rahab circled the buildings in his griffin form, keeping an eye out for trouble. He sent an ice arrow or two at some shades that were getting too close to the burned building, when he heard a roar down a road that caught his attention. The griffin sailed further down the street, far enough to spot the shadowy t-rex that had crashed a vehicle and was now tearing at its metal, teeth ripping at the car's body as it tried to get at the screaming passengers inside. "Well that complicates things," Rahab grumbled as he readied an arrow. The dart whistled through the air as it struck the giant shade's side. The t-rex roared and whirled to glare at the griffin, which was a momentary distraction, for now.
The Shadow Hunter cawed loudly and flapped his wings as he flew back towards the burning building. "Hey, if you're done waltzing around in there, we've got some big things to deal with," he called out in his almost bored tone that he usually spoke in, despite the seriousness of the situation. It's not that he didn't know the seriousness - he'd just been through enough chaos in his life to know that panicking doesn't make things any better, so why fuss?

Fiona followed Eira's lead, covering her own mouth with her one gloved hand. She kept glancing to the door and windows, ensuring nothing would unexpectedly burst in without her greatsword going straight into its face.

The Elemental studied the trail in the ash as she followed Eira, especially when they made it to the broken door. "The tracks look small enough and they're the only ones here... This has gotta be his."

However, a sudden call from above caught her attention. Fiona looked up to Rahab as he delivered his report. Her eyes widened, and though she felt a rather strong wave of confusion at the Shadow Hunter's tone, she focused on what was at hand, "Big things? What big things? Where?!" //We haven't even found the kid!//

The distant sound of the shades chasing after them were getting closer--many of them were slowed down or even stopped by the ice, but some of them flew, or managed to find a way around... But they started taking more cover from buildings around them, after some had witnessed what Rahab had done.

" hey! Thanks with those monsters, I wasn't sure how much longer we be able to last " the offer said given Boreas a wave in return.

" yeah no prob! It's part of our job " Jason cheered given a friendly grin, he was raised in this world so of course he new the language
Josh eyes widened he was half expecting not to understand " I can understand you?" But something seem familiar about the orange hair boy

Jason nodded " well yeah! I'm from here! You should know, you gave me a speeding ticket last week " he said cheerfully not holding a garage at all

" I knew you look familiar! " Josh shook his head and wiped his dirty bro with his arm " never would have expected to see you again like this" the offer then got distracted by the netted monsters as they made horrible screeching " those things won't get out?" He asked cautiously

Boreas gave a thumbs up in response to Josh's thanks. Then he just let Jason do the talking. //At least I can understand these people... Either way, I need to make sure I know how to communicate back...//
He was a bit surprised to learn that Jason was from here, but at the same time, he wasn't--not with the hidden palace that'd been in that world for who knows how long.

The Captain turned his attention to the captured monsters. He approached the net, kneeled down by it, and touched it with his right hand--sending a controlled jolt through the ice that would stun a creature that size, but not kill it.

Upon doing this and double checking to be sure it had worked, Boreas looked to Jason and Josh and made an 'okay' sign with one hand, while holding the other one up--just right.

After a brief moment of thinking about the monsters and the people who needed help inside the pet store, he looked to Jason, "...Commander Carrot-top, you dropped Crystal off earlier. Do you know where she ended up?"

[ yes, those /birds/ if you can call them that are Soledormirs spy, he used them to watch and listen... I would tell you to get rid of it as quickly as possible but be careful, he used them as traps before and my gut telling me he wanted you to know he was watching you ] Arthur gave his warning, but why would Soledormir do this was his thoughts, something was up but what? What was he planning and would the key hunters see it coming or by warning Crystal did he just set her on the plath Sol want for his Scheme? But at the moment it was the dog monsters that was the life threatening thing right now.

Christina was down to her last few bullets, she finished off the dog monsters that were after her // did she do it? I don't hear anything?// she looked around her hidden places to see...

The odd bird tipping it head up and swallowed the eye of the monster it stolen, red markings appeared around the bird... a growth grew on its forehead and then split open revealing a new third eye, the bird swayed back and forth, in am odd danced kind of way...

The monster dog began to twitch and then swayed its head from the birds /spell/ it some how could still use magic as well and took control over the dog monster, dark spine grew out of the beast line with red markings, the dog monsters Mass increase bulking up in size.

The bird tipped its head towards Crystal open up its wings in the way to show off the message that appeared on the billboard it was on, a message that read in what look like blood..." YOU WILL DIE " in words the human girl would understand.

The dog monster then charged at Crystal!

What Arthur told her frantically swirled around in her head, along with all the questions and worries that suddenly found their way back to the forefront of her brain. Back and forth Crystal glanced from the dog to the bird, shifting her weight on her feet, preparing in case she needed to move fast.

Between her divided attention, the girl witnessed the bird eat the eye and change, and then she turned her head and continued to watch in horror as the dog monster began to change too. She went to look back at the bird again, but the new and bloody message quickly caught her attention.. She almost gasped, but her breath got stuck in her chest instead. Then as the monster dog charged, Crystal turned and ran... Where she was going to go, she wasn’t sure, the roof was only so big with so many places to barely hide. She needed to think, but she couldn’t. And the amount of terror that flooded her veins in that moment before made her dizzy.. she did not want to die..

“The bird!” Crystal shouted the best she could, hoping that Christina could hear her, had at least one shot left, and understood what she meant.. Because she knew she couldn’t get both, especially while being chased, and if they took out the spy, maybe they’d have a second to collect themselves. But with that, she also knew she couldn’t out-run the monster that was after her, so she had to do the one thing she didn’t feel like she could, and face it.

And that’s what she did. Crystal was starting to feel the exhaustion, but she turned and gripped her weapon tight, watching the dog monster as it came at her.

(*Flips dramatically into room through the window and then strikes a pose*

Dreameater watches as Catch goes over and tries his experiment. "Ooohhh, yeah, that is pretty freaky..." he agrees, crossing his arms, "Do you think you could try ricocheting a spear off it? ... Oh! I just got an idea! Hey what if you put multiple spears in the crystals, then maybe you could, uh..." he glances over at the closest building and points at it, "If you put them at an angle, could you make a cord, and then maybe stick more spears over there? Then maybe connect the spears--we could make our own net to catch the monsters as they come by? Mmm, but you could only do three... Well... I mean, you've changed a lot since then, think you could try to see what you can do now?"

(I'm gonna get breakfast and take a shower, I'll be back in a bit!)

Crimson was frustrated now after he snap at Glory // she just a crazy Forgotten, why did Eate-...what ever he is! Had to send her anyway, she hasn't done anything! // he looked up at the building as the red king debate on how he go about getting to the top, using his wings would be the fastest and easiest but it would take more energy that he needed to be cautious on how he spent it or he could just climb up, it would take more physical effort and be slower but at least he save his magic...

Just then Crimson felt Dreamcatcher put something of magic in his crystals, he tipped his head in that direction feeling a hunger for more but he stopped his crystals from consuming it, Crimsons told them to use the crystals and that what they were doing.

Crimson turned back to the building, enough time has been wasted and he was getting more and more anxious...the red king ready himself and jumped, he leaped onto the side of the building as high as he could go, digging his gloves into the concrete to stay put but he had forgotten about someone, Glory wasn't holding on and from the quick and jostling movement the poor Fairfin was thrown off!

" ARE YOU FREAKING STUPID?! " Crimson snapped at Glory when he leaned back and snatch the little Fairfin with one hand " hold on or I'll let you fall next time! " he hiss putting the Fairfin back on his shoulder so he could grab the wall with both hands again.

Glory makes a quiet squeak when she's suddenly snatched up by Crimson, but she starts sobbing when he snaps at her again. "I--I'm sorry...!" she apologizes through her tears, holding on as tight as she can to the red king's shoulder this time as she cries, "I'm sorry...! I'm sorry...! Please, don't be mad... I know I... need to be better... I'm sorry...!"

Christina eyes widened seeing that out of the dogs could become even more of a monsters..." w-hat? " she breath out, but she had to time to gawk, Crystal hollered something important // bird?! What bird?!// it didn't take the officer long to spot the Cut Throat, she didn't know what it was but suddenly could since a dark power and it was coming from that monster.

The dog monster scraped its claws into the ground as its lunged itself toward Crystal, it maw open up with rows of long teeth and out stretched four arms really to rip into its prey.

Christina threw up her Glock and focus, it was a long shot on a small Target, tuning out everything else including Crystal her senses zeroed in on the evil bird and then she squeeze the trigger * BANG *

Josh nodded at Boreas when he gave the 'okay ' signal, that was a good thing to know and was going to ask something else when the biker man started to speak in some foreign language to the Orange hair guy // he is one of them to, what language is that? //
Jason eyes widened " that right! We're is Crystal?" He looked over to were all the people were expecting to see the key hunter over with them " I don't know, I dropped her off so she could help out over here "

" your talking about the medieval-looking girl? She went with my partner to see what was calling the monsters over here " Josh pointed across the street over towards the building just then a shoot could be heard

Dreamcatcher made a thinking face, it was true, he had changed every since his silver blood waken but he never had time to even think or really test this abilities " I can give it a try, I got one out right now, let's see what happens when I make more " he said with a thoughtful look.

Catch summon other spear and hand it to Eater, then he summon other one, he paused, by his 3rd the Dreamer knew he was at his limits, sure he could push to make a 4th but it wouldn't be worth using, the 4th tried him out to much and the summon item would be brittle and frail but he didn't feel the same strain as he did before. // maybe? Maybe I can make more now?// Catch hand the 3rd spear to Eater " well the moment of truth " and with that Dreamcatcher summon his 4th and it looked perfectly fine just like his others and he wasn't tried out by it ether " Hay! Look! I can do 4 now! " he said holding out the spear to the Nightmare.

Anna on the other hand was still working out her plan, there was something about that bird that didn't seem normal, how it was watching Catch and Eater and yet would glace over at her from time to time, even though she was invisible

" Just stop!" Crimson snapped when Glory began to cry, he didn't really know how to deal with someone who was being distraught. The red king shook his head to try and ignore her for now " whatever " if she was going to cry and feel sorry for herself he let her.

But as Crimson began to climb up the building his conscience was nagging at him, ones he made it to the top the red king pulled himself onto the roof, he didn't stand up yet, he was sitting, taken a moment to rest and do something about Glory. Crimson pride off the little Fairfin and held her in one hand " Hay you, snap out of it, I need you to focus" He said snapping his figures in front of her with his free hand to get Glory attention

Watching the monster barreling towards her, Crystal was trying to stand her ground, but she was losing it and every last ounce of her bravery fast.. The message from the billboard repeated in her head over and over.. And everything that happened next happened so fast, the girl couldn’t process any of it..

As the monster leapt at her, Crystal took a very small window of opportunity and jammed her blade up into its body the best she could.

But she had no time to think or figure anything out beforehand, so in that moment yes, she stabbed the monster, but the force of the beast was much more than she expected and she wasn’t able to get out of the way in time. So as her blade went into the monster dog, she was tackled and thrown off to the ground, and not without her share of wounds.

Boreas watched Josh as he spoke, glancing towards the building in question when he pointed to it. The gunshot ringing out told him one thing. The Captain got up and looked to Jason, "You said it earlier--that means trouble. So we should provide backup, ASAP.
But I vote one of us stays here to ensure security on this place. I don't care who." He looked ready to get to either job right away, depending on what was decided.

Eira looked up at Rahab, then down the street where the shades were flickering in and out of alleyways, gaining on them. "Well... The kid made it out of here alive, so he must've joined up with other citizens to keep safe. So we'd better get moving and help the next closest people until we locate him." Eira took one more look towards the shades, then ran in the other direction towards the t-rex encounter.

Rahab whirled around and set his gaze on the t-rex that was still focused on digging into the car. The passengers were screaming in panic, as it was almost upon them. He needed to move that shade, but his magic wasn't force-heavy and wouldn't be able to knock it back... So, with a burst of his wings and a hawk-ish lion roar, the griffin body-checked the t-rex in its side, throwing it off the car and staggering across the street. He kept flapping his wings and clawing at the shadowy form, trying to get it as far from the people as possible.

The monster rams into the car, roaring as it further injures its shoulder more, but it only stumbles a moment as it notices Terra sprinting off to the side.
Of course, if it had seen him at a different angle, the shade would've realized the car went right through him... but Terra knew it'd be hard to catch, so he's used this as a rather sneaky opportunity.

He bolts toward a nearby building that looks to have already taken some structural damage, knowing with how big and fast the shade is, it'll catch up to him in no time in his human form. Indeed, the shade plows through his ghostly form shortly before barreling straight into the building. The stability of the building drastically decreases upon impact: rubble falls, the building itself wobbles, and some pieces come down, hanging on by only some wires.

Terradream stops the moment the shade runs through him, quickly taking note of how its collision affects the building. He'd tried his best to hold the gun in a way that it wouldn't get knocked out of his hand as the monster went past, so at least he's got that, it's just what to do now... //Sparky, I didn't and still don't think anyone's in this building, but double check it for me just in case,// he asks his Fairfin, moving a bit more to the side as he watches the creature stumble about.

Sparky quickly gets to work and flies through the building, but he does tell his partner: //Yo, if I don't find anyone, I can help be a big distract for that thing if you don't get it!//

//Got it,// Terra simply replies, waiting for the monster to notice him again.

"Yeah!" Fiona agreed, running after Eira. Once again, she stayed a bit behind the group, looking back occasionally and eyeing the shades getting closer to them. "These things are quick!"

She looked to a fire escape near the end of the alleyway they were passing through, and turned to take a hefty swing at it. A loud 'CLANG,' rang out, followed by the crash of metal hitting concrete. The Elemental had sliced a chunk of the fire escape loose and dropped it behind them to maybe slow down the monsters more.

Fiona then turned to see Rahab tackling the shadowy t-rex, along with the people who were in the car, "/Big things./" Was all she muttered at first, pulling her sword up so she could run into battle. "We gotta get those people somewhere safer!! /But I don't know where!!/"

(I have missed a lot while thinking very hard on my post! XD

Morning Glory looks up at Crimson when he snaps his fingers at her, and rubs her head with her paws again. "... I'm sorry..." she mumbles one last time, sniffling before asking, "Is there any way I can help you...? ... Other than trying to focus... I know I need to focus... I'm trying..."

Eira heard the clang and jumped a bit, looking back in expectation of a monster on their tails, but she relaxed when she saw that Fiona had planned it to slow down the shades. The shiftress made it to the car and looked inside to see if everyone was okay. There were two people in the front seats, curled up in their seats and shaking, and a child crying in the back... The exact child they were looking for. Eira gasped in relief. "Oh thank the moons, we found him..." She said aloud, then focused her attention on the passengers of the damaged car. "Everything's going to be okay - just stay right here," Eira said with a calming motion of her hands. She knew they wouldn't understand her language, but at least she'd give them a reassuring voice to hear among the chaos.
Looking around, the shiftress stepped towards the approaching shades and tossed up another ice wall - not enough to cover the entire street, but enough to make it hard for them to reach the car while they helped the people out.

Rahab wrestled with the t-rex but wasn't able to knock down the larger creature, as the dino dug its claws into the ground and shouldered him backwards, roaring as it thrashed against him. Its shadowy jaws swung around, and Rahab didn't leap off in time for it to bite into his shoulder. He hissed in pain - then decided to bite back, as if that might help. But the sharp points of his beak did manage to pierce the t-rex's neck, and that convinced the shade to th him off to the side with a snarl.
"Heads up!" Rahab shouted as the monster began to turn back to Fiona and Eira, looking them over with dark beady eyes.

(All of that comment about the spider's demon legs is very entertaining to me, Galaxy X'DD)

Dreameater raises an eyebrow when Catch keeps making spear after spear and handing them to him, and he smirks faintly when the prince makes a fourth. "Awesome! So you can do a lot more summoning now, even with your one arm all messed up and with Catty in there!" he exclaims, looking briefly at both the spears and the sword in his hands, "I'd be curious to see how many more you could make, but we're on a timer, if we're going to make a net, think you could try out making more, longer ribbons next?"

The dog monster didn't show any signs of pain despite the wound that just suffered, it was like it now only had one purpose and that was to kill Crystal no matter what happened to itself.

The bullet hits the Cut Throat and it busted into red sparks that dissolve like Embers // what? It just pop?// the brief thought that it was to easy cross Christina mind but it was short live with the more pressing matter.

" Crystal!" She Yelled and rushed rushed towards the dog monsters who had the girl pin down, the officer tackled the monster to get it off the girl, she took her empty gun and started to use it as a blunt weapon

Fiona struggled with a mental debate on whether to go straight after the monster or follow Eira to the car. There was even more of a divide as Rahab was bit by the monster... But when she heard what Eira was saying to the people, Fiona finally made a decision. //She's right! Take the thing down first, then think about safer places!!//

Then she heard Rahab calling out to them, and saw the t-rex-like monster looking their way. "Eira! I'll try distracting that thing! Think we can use your ice to knock it down or further away?!" The Elemental quickly asked, already starting to move forward towards the beast.

The shades that were pursuing them were stalled by both the fire escape and the ice wall Eira had set up... It would still take them some time to get through, but less time for some than others, especially since they had experienced this trick before...

Josh look over towards were the shot fired " Chris!" He went to go run to find his partner but Jason put a hand up " stay here and keep an eye on thses things " as he explains to the officer Jason wave to Boreas to go, he would catch up

"Like hel-!" Josh stopped his protest when Jason interrupt it again " Dude we got this!" But these people need someone here "

Eira stared at the t-rex with wide eyes as it began to come towards them, then heard Fiona's idea and nodded. "Try knocking it off balance!" She called as she stepped forward. Again, she lifted a foot and stomped it down, sending out a thin layer of ice that shot across the street and made the ground beneath the t-rex slick and easy to slip on.
The t-rex was focused on the girls and failed to notice the ice beneath it. It began to lumber towards Fiona on its heavy footsteps, baring its dagger-sized teeth down at the Elemental.

Rahab sat up from where he had been tossed, shaking gravel out of his feather mane. He noticed the t-rex on the move and quickly summoned a glowing ball with magical arrows around it, readying to fire them as soon as the t-rex would be vulnerable.

" just stop saying that..."Crimson let out a frustrated sigh, both because they were wasting time but also for his attitude towards the Fairfin but his pride keep him from apologizing.

The red king looked over towards were he since the flying monsters, he rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand ( out of habit, he got armor on ) " I been thinking about that..." he then looked down at Glory " maybe there a way we could help each other?
your not able to keep up with me, not like this but what if you were in my armor to? I know it sounds stupid but when the fighting starts I won't stop for you "

The part that she could help him with he didn't really want to admit, it sounded stupid in his head anyway so for the moment the red king didn't say anything more

Boreas nodded at Jason's wave, and wasted no time before heading off, swiftly flying over the car barricade and heading towards the building Josh had pointed to. He tried identifying where the sound had originated from, figuring it must've been outside for it to echo like it did. Perhaps the monster calling in others had been on a high vantage point? Either way, he could see better from up above.
He wasn't going to fly straight to the top through the open air and risk being spotted by anything else, but rather, he got to the side of the building and ascended from there.

"I don't think that's stupid... You got room in there for me though...?" Glory quietly asks, noting how he doesn't really give her any details on how she can help him. //I... I need to help him focus, too... I don't need to distract him... I shouldn't cry... It's what Weaver would need, too...// she tells herself.

" it seems that way, I'm wondering what is my limit now?" The Dreamer prince thinks outloud, he tipped his head thinking about Dreameater last question, Catch could do that kind of summoning to but not as well as DW, it took more out of him but maybe it was different to, he already made some ribbons just moments before "well let's see what else I can do" he hand over the spear he was holding and then put his hands together like he does to make a ribbon and it formed, now that be was focused on what he was doing it did seem a lot faster then what it used to be " huh, you know, I think the last time I did this was back when my gems were cracked, sure it took longer because my gems were damaged but summon anything that wasn't a sword took longer, especially anything that wasn't a weapon" This made Catch think more as he watch and focus on making the ribbon longer and longer, he felt his magic getting pulled to make it but it wasn't like it used to be " so is like my magic pool bigger now? I know my vision took a lot and wiped me out but I never thought about anything else... Humm, this change things up, I need to figure out my limitations are on everything again "he said thoughtful
just for fun Catch held out the ribbon out to Dreameater to grab to " let's see if I can make enough for your plan~"

Fiona charged straight at the t-rex, immediately realizing a few things... A: She can't fly much. B: She can't outrun this thing...
But none of that stopped her one bit, she was going to do what she could.
When Eira's ice covered the ground beneath both the t-rex and herself, she discovered she didn't know how to move on ice either, as her feet immediately started scrambling for traction... "Whoa-!"
But... This also gave her an idea. A crazy one. The Elemental looked at the t-rex maw quickly closing in, eyes wide. //Well, LET'S DO IT!!// She took her greatsword, thrust it into the ground, and used it to shove herself and go shooting across the ice. Then, at the last second, she dropped all the way onto her backside, teeth clenched and eyes tense as she tried to fit right underneath the monster's jaws.

The t-rex probably could not have predicted Fiona's wild plan even if it had tried. As the dino charged at Fiona and bared its jaws to bite down with a mighty roar, the Elemental slid right underneath it and its teeth clamped on nothing. The momentum of its heavy head kept moving though, as well as its charging body in the opposite direction. As its head instinctively tried to chase after Fiona, its feet slipped from under it and it let out a confused "Ruh?" With its weight swinging over it's head, the t-rex took a tumble, rolling over the ice and crashing in a heap of shadow dino on the street. Fiona's unexpected plan actually went really well.

Rahab leaped on the moment that the dino's belly was revealed to the air. He opened his bird hand palms and slammed them together to make the icy arrows whiz towards the t-rex. They struck the shade with a burst of ice magic, and ice began to spread over its skin as it roared and thrashed furiously.

Eira stared wide eyed at what happened, amazed and honestly excited about how it turned out. "Yeah Fiona! Finish it off!" She called out with a cheering fist in the air.

The Nightmare shrugs as Catch thinks about his abilities out loud, but snorts and smirks when Catch offers the ribbon to him too. "Hey! I've only got two hands, you know," he playfully snaps at his friend, although despite saying that, he instinctively brings out his shackled chains to take something... "But alright, uhhhh, let's see, I can tie this ribbon around one of the spears and throw it, and you can make as much of a ribbon as you can," he says, pinching the ribbon with one shackled chain, wrapping his other shackled chain around the other spears to hold them, setting down Dawn's Sabre for the moment, and taking one spear in his right hand, before then taking the ribbon in his left hand to tie it around the spear. "You ready? ... Here goes!"

Fiona slid a bit farther even after the t-rex had flipped over. However, when she found out she was still in one piece and heard Eira's cheering, she cheered back with a, "WE GOT 'IM!!"

The Elemental quickly got up, having to slide herself off of the ice first--but thankfully, Rahab was using his own magic to keep the beast down. Then she rushed in, taking a flying leap and bringing her great sword down on the shade's chest.

...At that same moment however, the majority of the shades who had been chasing them were managing to get past the barricades. First just one or two, but quickly followed by a horde of them--bursting through the windows of abandoned buildings or just squirming past what Eira and Fiona had set up.
The group of shades split up, half going for Fiona and Rahab, and the other half going for Eira and the car with people inside.

As she was tackled, Crystal lost her mental grip on her weapon and it devolved away, which left her to fend off the dog monster on top of her by hand because there was no moment to get it back.. She was so scattered she didn’t know what was really happening at this point, she just tried to shove away the monster and keep it from hurting her any further.

The girl thought she heard her name, but it sort of went in one ear and out the other.. The next thing she knew, the monster was ripped off of her, and the first thing she did was force herself to roll over so she could get up.

Crystal winced in pain as she moved, but when she made it to her knees, she looked over at the monster and Christina. The site of the officer bashing the beast with her gun wasn’t pleasant, but it was buying them a little time.. Crystal didn’t want to waste that, but she didn’t know what to do next.. If being stabbed didn’t slow the thing down, she wasn’t sure what would.

The red king didn't make comment on the stupid part, this still felt weird, was he even doing it right? Being considerate, it had been so long since he cared about others.... Crystal was his only friend and she was the only person Crimson care about in the way he did, she was special to him but what about others? He didn't consider anyone else a ' friend ' he kinda knew Purity so she was alright, but he didn't know anyone else, but was a Fairfin even worth it? To him they were not people and yet he was going out of his way for her like she was one.

Crimson glace down but was he doing it right? It was still strange to him, it felt foreign and yet distantly familiar. " it be fine, I think." He moved his free hand to the front of his helmet " my head isn't this big, my helmet go out farther then my face...even with that it still be close quarters, but you can be on my right side, I can't see out of that eye anymore so that space is pointless in my helmet " he Rambles a bit and adds on " it's ether there or I suff you in my pocket but my pocket won't have a view "
