//It's running, keep going,// Terra informs his partner, keeping a close eye on the situation and rethinking some things, //It's not startled at all and seems intent on killing, so maybe it won't be disturbed much by my presence, hopefully it'll come after me too. I'll try to take a shot once it's a little closer.//

Sparky leaps over the debris he had been running for and continues dashing towards Terra's general direction. //Okie dokie, artichokey!//

The monster runs after the little ghost Fairfin, it bumps into vehicles as it focuses on its pret, it's snap its jaws to bite at him but he so small and a ghost for that matter that the shade miss

Jason grind with that reply " alright!" He then made a high pitch whistle and called out " HERE MONSTERS!" he then fired his shot when some of the monsters got closer together.
The bolt he had in this time opened up into a net as it flew though the air

Boreas kept his eyes on the target, waiting for just the right moment to use his magic. He watched the net soar through the air, and around the group Jason aimed for. Then with a flick of the wrist, he sent a darting gust of ice magic at the base of the net. A freezing, white and blue shimmer spread across the ropes, hardening them and quickly weighing down the flying monsters inside.
"You're not planning on keeping any of 'em in your room are you?" He joked--but at the same time, he was also using that to ask what the plan was with the creatures...

With her back pressed against the metal box, Crystal froze and listened for a moment, to make sure she didn’t draw anything her way just yet. She thought about the layout of the roof from the way Christina explained it and where each of them were as of now. The girl turned and peaked around her hiding spot, quickly turning back after she got a glimpse of the multi-eyed monster.. ‘If I get too close it’s probably going to notice me, but I don’t think just arrows are going to cut it since I’m not sure where to aim to kill it..’ Crystal paused at that thought. She was far too scattered to try any new tricks, but she knew how to switch between her weapons. ‘If I start taking out it’s eyes I might be able to get closer, or make it come this way to find me, so I can use my sword instead..’

It wasn’t really a fancy idea, or had anything to do with metaphorical boxes like Arthur had mentioned, but it what she could come up with, and since Christina had most of the other monsters occupied, it was what she was going to try.

Crystal brought her bow back into existence, being careful to keep it hidden until she was ready to use it. She pulled the string and made an arrow, getting it set before she had to expose her placement to be able to aim. The girl slowly crept over and stepped out of hiding just enough to get some of the monster in view. She readied her bow and aimed at one of its eyed tentacles, ‘Please don’t move..’ she thought as she let go of the string, quickly shifting so she could hide her bow and herself a bit more but still be able to see so she could know what she needed to do next.

The monster with many eyes was focused on were Christina hid herself, it's was standing straight up trying to get the most hight to see. The monster let out a horrible screeching when one of its eyes got hit, the monster stumbled back it other eyes looking around frantically for who attacked it but it soon would be attacked again but this time by something else...

Christina pop out from her spot just enough to take shot at other monster, she then had to make a quick getaway as more dog creatures were upon her. The pink officer made a run to other metal box, she turned and fire at the monster that followed her. Then the many eyes monster scream and the monster that were after Christina stopped and turned in its directions // did she get it?!// she tuned around the corner with her gun at the ready, almost expecting the monsters to be heading to Crystal now they were not, they were more confused as the black bird from before flew around the monster peeking at its eyes.

Christina was hesitant for a moment but she needed to keep up being the distraction and took advantage of the distraction, she shot a few more times getting in some clear shoots at the remaining dogs monsters " Hay! Over here!" She hollered at them to get their attention once more.

Dreamcatcher glace over at the Nightmare he had intended in giving him one of his swords but Crimson was taken off already.
" ....so tell me? the plan/ is/ to kill them all isn't?..."Crimson stop and stood there for a moment ' you know your not going in alone ' repeated in his mind, he glace over his shoulder, teamwork wasn't one of his strongest points but he did do it when he was blind and he had no other option, the red king let out a frustrated growl as he had to re strategize his plan. Crimson dropped to one knee and placed a hand on the ground, he focuses and soon blue crystal form under him, they were spreading slower then what they did inside the barrier and the edges that stop growing turned dull some spots even looked a sick grayish green... Crimson Mumble something under his breath as he stood back up, what was happening to his crystal he didn't like " this spell alone with this world is messing with my abilities and before you say anything that sticker thing working, it my magic that the problem, / I need/ magic in the earth but there nothing here...just Malice's spell..." he turned to Catch and Eater and now was going to give them his plan or what he had " my plan was for me to get out in front of these monsters " he pointed at Eater " Im not hiding my presence so you be able to sense where I'm at and I'm hoping they will to, if they have any sense of survival they will turn and go the other way " he pointed to the ground were he was standing " right back here were you two will hopefully be ready "

" I will buy you two time If I can, I'm not sure how these things will recognize me, if they don't run then I'm in for a fight but I'm sure I been in worst " Crimson then started to walk away again " you can try to make use of my crystal if you want, they absorb Magic and right now any kind will be focused to reflect so be careful what you use them for, it come back twice as hard " Crimson then toss his hand up as he shouted " THIS WORLD FREAKING SUCKS! "

Dreamcatcher watch and blinked as Crimson drop his info and just head out, he would have liked some kind of actual discussion but the red king was on his way... he stood there holding one finger up " ugh, are we just letting him go like that? "He thinks outloud

Dreameater stays quiet and listens as Crimson explains his plan, and he grunts quietly when the king turns to leave. "Not quite," Eater mumbles back to Catch as he notices Hope hopping off of Crimson's shoulder and starting to fly back to him. He holds up one hand to get her to stop. "Glory, you stay with him. Keep an eye on him for me," he says.

"What about you...?" the Forgotten nervously asks.

It takes the Nightmare a moment to respond. "I'll... I'll be fine, I got Catch, and Anna's up there somewhere too. Crim needs someone with him to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid, but I don't want to get in his way either... You be a good little voice on his shoulder."

"... Ok..." she mumbles, reluctantly flying back to Crimson.

After that, Eater rubs his forehead with one hand. "... I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but I guess we'll see how things play out, huh...?" he mutters to Catch, squeezing his eyes shut for a moment before turning to look at him. "If he's gonna try to send the monsters to us, we've got some time to prep. We gotta think, what can we set up? You have light, I have fire, though everything's damp from the rain; he said his crystals can reflect magic, maybe that'd help with my fire? But what about you?" he asks.

Catch had a sympathetic look as Glory flew off to follow Crimson " I hope she be alright " he said thinking out loud. The Dreamer prince then turned to his troubles friend, he nodded " maybe mixing fire and light? Or I do got fire now to, I don't know how that work together " after listening off his elements the Dreamer prince remembered what he was going to bring up before.
Catch took is left hand and summoned his Dreamer sword " I can't let my brother go into battle without a sword after giving his away "he then held it out to Eater " you can use Dawn's Sabre "

Eira gave a nod as she took in the information, mapping in her mind how to get back to the place with the fire. Her words wouldn't mean much, but she leaned in to take the woman's hands and hold them firmly, not hard but showing her determination. "Don't worry - we'll find him," she said as she met the woman's gaze, showing her that her child would be in confident, good hands.
Once she had made her point, Eira let go and turned to Fiona. "You ready to go back out there?"

Rahab stood back and watched, waiting for Eira and Fiona to make their decision, having already decided that he'd join them. "I can give you all a ride to make things quicker. Just tell me where to go."

Fiona joined Eira in comforting the woman, giving her a gentle pat on the shoulder, and her own determined look as well.
...Then she did a gesture like making binoculars out of her hands, and gave a double thumbs up, trying to reaffirm what the shiftress was saying through charades.

The woman was still obviously incredibly worried, but with the steadfast, caring mannerisms she was seeing from the girls, she knew that they were on the case... Even though Fiona's charades may have been a /little/ odd to her at first. She took a shaky breath, then quietly said, "...I can't thank you enough."

Fiona gave one last sympathetic look, then turned her attention to Eira, "Yeah. The sooner we find him, the better!"
And finally, she looked to Rahab, "That... Sounds like a plan." She still wondered what was going on with her own ability to fly. It frustrated her to think about it, but now wasn't the time to dwell on it.

Dreameater "Hmms" as he tries to think on what he and Catch can use, and he watches as Catch summons his sword. He hesitates before taking the sword with his right hand. "... I'm glad they don't make left-handed or right-handed swords," he lightly teases with a smirk, then pauses, rubbing his thumb on the sword's handle and looking down at it again. "... I hate to even bring it up, but it kind of hurts to hold it. It's nothing too bad, I mean, I /can/ keep a hold of it... It just stings a bit. I don't think your sword likes me anymore," he huffs, glancing back up at his friend briefly, then taking the ribbon on the end of the sword and trying to wrap it around the handle.

Crystal flinched when the monster let out it’s scream. She was about to move back completely out of sight but soon noticed the bird as it came in and started attacking the monster. Her brows furrowed with confusion as she thought, ‘What is with that bird..? First it just sat and starred all creepily, and now it’s attacking our monster..’ She didn’t really know what to think, but she figured she could use this as an opportunity to move.

The girl looked out at Christina and the monsters lingering, taking a guess that they were just as thrown off as she was. When the officer yelled to get said monsters attention again, she waited until they were busy and moved back to the backside of the metal box and looked over at the next one she could get to, which would put her closer to the eyed monster. Though, she would have to leave the partial safety of her current hiding place to get there.

Crystal looked out to double check she had an opening, then while everything else was distracted she did her best and quickly but carefully ran over to that next box and hid behind it as well before leaning over to get a look at what the monster was doing now before she made her next move.

Eira gave the woman one last reassuring rub on the arm, then turned to Fiona and Rahab with a firm nod to both of them. She took in a deep breath, knowing it wouldn't be easy going back out there, but it'd be worth it. "Come on. We have a person to rescue."

Rahab led the way outside briskly, finding an open clearing and shifting to his griffin form. He crouched on the ground and extended a wing for Fiona and Eira to board. After helping them on, he pumped his wings with a whoosh and took off. "Hang on - we're moving fast," he called as he veered in the direction that they needed to go.
Though he had a beak, the griffin showed a faint smirk as he glance dback at his passengers. "You two are getting that Shadow Hunter experience ya'll wanted this whole time now, huh? You should be proud."

I'm doing good! Despite it being hot today, I got to see one of my friends who I haven't seen since covid started, so I'm having a wonderful day today. Plus, it's SKeys too! :D )

"Yeah!" Fiona nodded and followed Eira and Rahab outside. She waited for Eira to get on first, then did the best floating-hop she could manage to get on behind Eira. She wasn't the most experienced with letting someone else do the flying, but she knew what it was like to take off--so she held on tight to Rahab's back.

Then the Elemental scanned their surroundings, thanks to Rahab's quick movements, they likely could avoid a lot of the chaos... But Fiona didn't know what else they might run into just as fast.

However, with the griffin's comments, Fiona's eyes widened. Her mind had been so busy with everything else, she hadn't thought about that, for either of them.
"Wha-- I mean--
...Yeah, I guess we are." She glanced to Eira, then back to Rahab, now narrowing her eyes a little. It felt weird to hear... Kinda nice words coming from him. "Well... Let's give it our best!"

Crimson had quickened his pace, he glace over at the Forgotten and only slowed down for a moment for her to catch up " you might as well hold on to save your energy instead of trying to keep up " he simply committed.

As the red king started down the street his mind was plotting out how to go about this, the street was a good run way but there was several spots that led into dark areas were his prey would likely flee to...

the Street was long with the strange metal carriages he had seen last night, Crimson cautiously approached one of the metal creatures "... it doesn't seem to be alive, I don't since any life from it " he thinks outloud but in a quite voice. the red king reaches out a hand and placed it on the hood of the car, he could feel it was made of different kinds of material with his magic, metals and some foreign products of earthy materials ' plastic' he had felt before in the Palace with the action finger and other things there but that wasn't all... Crimson moved his hand along the side of the car as he examined its contents "... interesting...this will be useful..." he stopped when he since the cars fossil fuel... though it was different from world to world it was also the same " Heh, oh yeah I can put this to good use... it's a good thing this thing is dead" he smirked but no one could see it.

Crimson had notice the carriage had Wheels, he got into Position, he grabbed a hold of the car and began to pull it over to were he wanted it, over to one of the alleyways. the red king rolled his neck as he got ready, he grabbed a hold of the car again and let out a frustrated growl as he picked up the car as enough to send it on it bumper so it was standing vertical. despite his armor making it much easier to do his mind keep whispering ' use your true form...it be easier...I can just pick it up...this is taking to much time...just shift....' it was frustrating because it was true, it would be faster and easier in his dragon form but could he control himself? And if not, could anyone stop him in his armor? Could anyone stop /him/...it why Crimson didn't shift.

Crimson took a breath after he set up the car, be he couldn't rest long, he wasn't done yet. He then placed his hand on the exposed fuel tank and form a group of crystal there... "... if this thing gut is full of what I'm use to, despite it being dead...this should end up as quite the show..." he said eerily as he walk away from the car, he more to do, more things to set up for his stage

Eira paused and thought about Rahab's comment as well, appreciating the positive thought. "Yeah, I... I guess so. It's been difficult doing all this without the experience from the school, but... I'm glad I can still help people." She stared down at her hands, drifting off into thought about that. A lot had changed, and a lot of unexpected things happened, but it was all for the better in the end. She just hoped all their experiences would be enough to win this fight...

Rahab shook out his feathery mane and continued forward, large black eagle wings pumping as he soared over building tops. They could see the shades darting around the streets below, searching for victims. A lot of them seemed to be going towards the camp, which was definitely a hotspot for attention - so it was a good thing the camp had good protection.
Rahab's speed helped the trio get close to their destination quickly. The griffin kept an eye out for any monsters nearby, as did Eira, peeking over he shoulder to look at the streets.

" all right!" Jason cheered with the success of his and Boreas combined attack. " ha, ha! No Qui would have my head and I don't think monsters make good pets "The orange hair boy quickly reloaded his crossbow as he explains his plan " up the chain said if we can capture some safely we might be able to find more out about them, it's not ever day you get to even see one of spook man's Goons let alone an opportunity to compete a capture quest for one. "

Jason work on shooting done more of the flying monsters but this time going back to his normal bolts

The monster with many eyes was thrashing its head/Upper body? about ( it's freaky looking) trying to get the bird away from its eyes...the monster keeps making horrible screeching trying to get the attention of its bodyguardz who were to focus on officer, except for one who look like it wanted to go over but was afraid to...

The lone monster look at the many eyes one and then turned to were Christina was barricading herself like that was the better option.

Christina reached for another clip but found she only had one left, 12 bullet in her last clip and she had to make them count. The pink officer fan out her fins and wiggled to amplify your senses the best that she could right now. She pivoted on a foot just as a monster lep at her, the monster mist it attack and try to correct itself in midair, however all it would find is a bullet in the head.

Fiona was busy scrutinizing the area and readying her greatsword in case any shades in the air got the idea to start coming after them... But after hearing Eira's words, the Elemental paused for a moment too, letting it settle into her mind this time. She felt the same way--happy to be able to actually help people. It'd been so long since she'd been able to really think that way and fully believe it. The bit of it she had helped strengthen another outlook she'd been trying to keep. "Yeah... And... If we keep at it, we'll be able to do even more, too!"
//...Are we... Actually being like Shadow Hunters...?//

However, that thought process was cut short, as they neared their destination... And Fiona glanced behind them, noticing a few flickers of darkness hiding behind buildings in the distance. "...I think we might have some stalkers..." She growled.

"Don't want anyone upset. These things don't have manners, anyways..." Boreas jokingly commented at the thought that monsters wouldn't make good pets. He gazed at the freezing net of them they'd captured, then turned his attention and magic to defending it from the other oncoming shades. "The higher ups here sound like they know what they're doing." He said, also making a mental note of Void being 'spook man,' in Commander Carrot-top's book.

"Yeah," Eira murmured with a faint smile, in response to Fiona's comment. "These are more opportunities to help than we ever could've hoped for before."

She and her brother looked behind them at Fiona's observation. "How we want to do this?" Rahab murmured. "I can drop you off on the ground, or we can fight them from above. Your choice."

Eira wringed her hands together. "Well, I can't usually fight in my human form without being on the ground where I can control my ice. So that would probably be for the best..."

Dreamcatcher grimaced in hearing his friend reply, he had hoped his sword would help not hinder // why does it hurt him?.... it has to do with my magic doesn't it? // he was wondering more and more what all his silver blood could do but those thoughts also had to wait for the moment, he wanted to figure out what he could do to help Weaver...

Catch snapped his fingers with his good hand " I know!... well maybe, we can try and see if it works " his mind going before he could explain, they were on a time frame after all... the Dreamer put his hands together and focus, his hands glow as he used his summoning magic to make small ribbons

Dreamcatcher held them out to Dreameater when he was done " try wrapping them around your hands, hopefully they help with the stinging I'm guessing my silver blood doing something with my sword to... I haven't really try out to much of my magic to really know what all been affected by it... I should have figured everything by this point..." he made a face, though his silver blood had left a bad impression on Catch it did save Weaver and had done a few good thing and, he himself would have been a Nightmare if it wasn't for it so it couldn't all be bad

Dreameater looks up when Catch offers him the extra summoned ribbons, and he quickly takes them and gets to work wrapping them around his hands. "Yeah, that helps with the stinging," he says, pauses, then continues, "I don't know if it's because of your silver blood or because I'm a Nightmare, it might not even be because of your magic. Hey, maybe once this is all over and we've got some time, we can find a spot to test out your abilities, maybe."
Speaking of Catch's magic, that reminds him of something he likely ought to bring to his attention... "Hey, that reminds me, there's something I need to tell you," Eater says in an almost more serious tone, and looking Catch right in the eye, "I don't know what you've been doing, or how you've been doing it, and I'm pretty sure you don't even know you have been doing it, but, you've actually been helping me out with fighting the frenzy some. Every time it's been getting worse, or even when I've gotten ticked off, and you grabbed me or patted me, or just touched me, it just... stopped. The hunger just goes away, and I can think a bit more clearly, and... it feels weird." Eater makes a face at that, but regardless, he adds, "So if you ever see me about to lose myself, try and grab me or something if you can, maybe you'd be able to catch me..."

The T-Rex like monster nick the vehicle it was chasing, causing it to spin out of control and leaving an opportunity for the monster to catch it, if nothing was done...( I'm sure it made lots of noise)

The Battles continues to rage on.

Though it look to be that the sky's was a losing battle, there were far more monsters then those who could defend them off, not all hope for the sky was lost, the Pegasus Knights finally arrived!
Though there was not as many as there would have normal be, the Silver spear Pegasus Knights had arrived, a squadron of fighter planes shot across the sky in formation.

The squadron broke up into wing, 3 Jets pre group as they spit up to take on more targets

//Hmm... I'm not sure if one bullet to the head is going to kill something like this right away...// Terradream considers, carefully moving out from behind the car, //It's already bumping into different things trying to get to Sparky though, maybe we could get it to charge into something? Like that building over there... Wait...// Before getting too far from the car, he takes one hand and waves it through the vehicle to test if he can still do that with the magic bowtie on. Turns out, he can. //Good to know,// he thinks, taking that into consideration with his plan, and he now raises his gun at the swiftly approaching shade. Terra does not aim at its head right away, no, first he aims for one of its shoulders, and he fires his shot with the intentions of at least injuring it.

Fiona glanced back one last time, struggling to catch sight of the shades again. The already constant sounds of the disaster suddenly being joined by even more calamitous noise. //There's still so much! We gotta move as fast as we can...!// The Elemental looked to her allies and shouted over the sounds, "If you fight best on the ground, then that's where we should be!"
She shivered a little as an ominous wind blew through the city, which made her want to ensure their group's safety even more, "...It looks like they're staying way far away... They might try to surround us when we land! I think we should try covering each other's weak spots!"

(Dinner is done and I got rice everywhere! :D)

Dreamcatcher was relieved that his idea actually work, however a look of surprised came to the shapeshifters face " wait, what?" He breathe out and almost disbelief, Eater was right Catch had no idea what he had been doing " I can do something like that? But how? I don't feel any different...wait " he pause looking away from the Nightmare odd eyes and down to his own hands " could it? But it's never done that before, I only been able to feel others emotions no ones ever said they felt any differently around me"

Catch look back to his friend with now a spark of curiosity and Hope, maybe he could do more to help?

Dreameater slowly frowns as he watches Catch. //... I don't like seeing him like this...// he thinks to himself, //And he made me feel weird when he touched me, something calming and... and warm... I don't like it...// With a huff, he mostly ignores what the prince said and mutters, "Whatever, just don't touch me..."
The Nightmare then turns to look towards the creatures' life auras, and noticing that they're still a ways off, he scans the surrounding area for any environmental things they can use. "Now let's get back on track, we've got things to kill and we can't spend all day talking! We've got Crim's crystals over there, uhh... We've got some of the weird human carriages here, and then there's those wires up there too, actually there's some on the top of poles here too above the street..." he thinks out loud, then calls out to Rihanna, saying, "Hey Anna! Morning Glory did as Crimson suggested, and flew over to his left shoulder, where she then rested and held on to him. As he did his things, she stayed quiet, but eventually his creepy behaviour got to her too much... and now she interrupts him before he can do much more. "... Weaver asked me to keep an eye on you..." the Forgotten quietly begins, trying to look at his face even though she can't see it, as if wanting to make eye contact with him, "You're acting really creepy... I don't think he'd like that... Are you ok...?"

Taking a second and observing everything going on, Crystal realized it was a now-or-never kind of situation.. She needed to get out there and finish off this frightening creature before she lost the chance.. and before something really bad happened..

She let her bow dissolve and instead readied herself with her sword. The girl glanced out at Christina once more then made her move toward the multi-eyed monster. She knew with its eyes it would most likely see her at some point no matter how she approached, and she was trying to take that into account just in case.

Crystal gripped her sword in both hands as she moved forward, holding it down to the side so hopefully when the time came, all she’d have to do foremost is aim and swing..

Letting out shriek monster chasing Sparky stumbled as it shoulder was shattered, it hit a car before coming to a spot. Terra wanted its attention and he just got it. The monster look right at him, it opened its maw and let out a blood curdling scream, the monster stumbled to its feet and was going to come right for it's new prey

Jason moved around on the Battlefield using the cars to his advantage for both cover and getting higher ground when he needed it.
[ sorry boys was running a little late to the party] Jasmine place called over the radio as the jets flew over head.

"WHOOO! Jazz! Better late then never!" Jason cheered back, he looked up at the sky seen the Pegasus Knights planes, a mixture of half bloods or other species were most of the Pilots for this mission.

With the help of the captain and the people on the building the next wave of flying monsters was dealt with and now with a little more air support it might give them a bit more time to collect themselves before the next move.

Jason was feeling pumped, things were looking up but the day wasn't done yet, there was still the people they needed to get to rescue, they now had monsters for pick up and he hadn't even had a chance to check were Crystal was at.

Jason put his figures to his ear piece " Ethan, can you let the Vanguard know we got a order on ice to go, along with a group of civilians "

[ g-ive me a moment, t-hings are hectic on coms, i-t might take me a while to r-each an available team] The wolf boy replied.

Jason gave the air a thumbs up " thanks buddy! I think we can handle anything else until they get here " The Orange hair boy slug his crossbow over his shoulder " backup might take a bit but I trust they get here when they can "

Eira nodded. "Good plan. Sharing what we can and can't do would be good... I have a lot of ground control. I can control my ice to sense and attack in all directions, even if I can't directly see them, but it can take a little while to direct my ice. It's easy when they attack all at once, because I can send out a big blast, but I need your backup if they're fast and come in separate waves. I could also probably shape the terrain so it's harder for them to run circles around us.... How about you, Fiona?"

Rahab chimed in with his own stats. "I have an array of both finesse and crowd control. Crowd control takes a lot more stamina, so I'll focus on chasing down the fast ones with my missiles," he informed them.

(The beep!)

// just like that he flips....Weaver was there for a moment and now it's Eater again// Dreamcatcher sigh inside as he listened to the Nightmare frustration. The Dreamer prince looked down at his hand when Eater is distracted with Anna, he was halfway tempted to touch the Nightmare to see if he could bring Weaver out more but would that only make Eater resist more?

" you got it Weaver!" Anna replied back and went up to investigate the odd wires.

Rihanna landed on The Wire, she jumped on it to see how stable it was " there attached to these polls pretty good but I think they can be pulled down, I'm just not sure what there for " she holler down below and continued to walk down the line, she stopped however when a black bird was just watching her from its perched on The same Wire

Catch looked up at the wires when his Fairfin called out " im not sure how we can use them, maybe tie up the monsters?" He noticed the black bird and how odd it was just sitting there

(The beeper part of the city eue )

Once the majority of that wave of monsters was taken care of, Boreas eyed the battlefield around them in case there were any stragglers. Afterwards, he simply listened to the conversations over the radio with the earpiece he'd received from Jason, looking up to see the jets flying overhead.

"Hold down the fort--got it." The Captain reaffirmed their mission, standing in a position where he could guard both the people holed up in and around the pet store, as well as what they had caught. He glanced over to Jason, "...I would ask if anyone has any injuries--but I'm fairly certain none of the people of this world speak snowman-language." he muttered, jabbing a thumb at the makeshift shelter.

(Go beeper)

Fiona listened carefully to what Eira and Rahab listed off, trying her best to focus on them and not on the destruction and sounds of war. It wasn't the easiest for her to gauge her own abilities--she wanted to say she could do a lot, but when she thought about it, she was full of conflicting thoughts... But she knew accuracy was the most important thing in that situation, so she tried, "I'm... Not the fastest, but I can use my great sword to break through solid walls or block stuff? I can fly--but I'm kinda grounded here for some reason... I think I can manage if I have to!

I.. I can focus on defending you while you use your ice, Eira! I'll be your backup like you said, and keep an eye out for both of you!" She declared, doing just that by once again searching the area around them for anything suspicious...

(We need to go beeper to the beepest bepths of the beep bark baverns of the bity.)

Crimson was in the middle of making more Preparations to his plan when Glory said something that got his attention " what? NO! I'm not acting creepy You are! " he puffed, not wanting to admit he had been doing it again.

The red king finished with his make shift traps, it was nothing like he would normally make but under the circumstances he didn't have a lot to work with and ever time he used his magic he was spending energy he couldn't recover in a place without magic. Crimson placed a hand on the building he was standing next to, he was catching his breath before he executed the next phase of his plan //... it should work....it did before, but should I?... it not like I have much of a choice...I need something....//

(*wheeze*)

Terradream grimaces slightly at the sound of the monster's scream, but he quickly moves back behind the car and reloads his gun, then waits.

//You need anything?// Sparky asks, watching the creature run towards Terra now, before hopping over to try and find something he can use as a weapon, just in case.

//I should be fine for now, I'm going to lure it to a wall,// Terra replies.

Glory doesn't say anything in response to his accusation, going back her to rather somber quietness again. When Crimson stops to catch his breath, she again speaks up. "... What's all this for, Crim...? What're you going to do?" she asks, not in a discouraging tone, but more of a cautiously curious one.

Crystal was right that the monster with many eyes would spot her coming but by time it did the human girl would be on top of it thanks to the bird distraction.

The black bird flew up and landed on the top of the billboard and watched as the girl would finish the job, it watch her with an almost smug look as it held its prize and its beak, one of the monsters eyes....

[ that no normal bird that a Cut throat!] Arthur call out with urgency [ careful Crystal, that a spy of Soledormir!]

The bird tips its head and looks over to were the dog shade was like it was implying there was something else she needed to worry about.

The shade was staring at the bird and then it slowed tuned to look at Crystal

"Hnnng... I'm /not/ Weaver!" Eater protests back at Anna, tightening his grip on Dawn's Sabre briefly and glaring up at the Fairfin. While Anna and Catch both get distracted by the bird, Eater only gives it a swift glance. He's not in a good mood, and he doesn't care about the stupid bird. "Well, what if we cut one open? That's probably the best way to see what it does, or we could let the monsters cut it up if they get tangled in it," he calls back rather snarkily, "Maybe if we're lucky we'll get to watch them strangle themselves!"
After that remark, he turns his eyes back to the incoming monsters. He just wants to kill something now...
