HELLO!!

Crystal listened to Christina’s explanation on what the purpose of a Fire Escape was, taking a second to think about it before saying, “Out of everything new I’ve seen in these worlds, this one makes the most sense to me.”

Now that their way to the roof was accessible and ready to use, she released her mental grip on her weapon and let it dissolve away, the used arrows doing the same as she began her way up the ladder too.

Crystal paused when the officer came to a halt, about to ask if everything was okay when she looked over and saw the next bird. She then grimaced, being able to see it a bit better didn’t help her uneasiness about it any. She didn’t like how still it was or the way it watched them, or.. at least how it watched her.

The girl continued to follow upward, but came to a stop again as Christina took an assessment of the roof. She watched closely, waiting for their next move, and when she saw the signal the officer gave she moved back down to the lower platform. “..What’s up there? Could you see what’s calling the other monsters?” Crystal questioned a bit quietly, her expression worried.

Ones on the platform with Crystal, Christina took a breath to collect herself " im not even sure how to explain what I seen, but im sure that monster the one calling the others, I haven't seen a dark creature like it before, not even in the books" she rises her hand to about the Heights " its about this tall, it top half has dozens of tentacles with eyes on them and it's middle half had mouths, all around it's abdomen, and it's legs were long and remained me of a spider " she shuttered at the thought of the grotesque monster " im sure it the one, it was hiding behind the billboard up there and using its tentacles to peek around it, it's no wonder we couldn't see anything from that distance" she closed her fist, she was mad but anger wasn't going to do them any good so she push it aside and kneel down, she draw out indivisible map of what she could see on the Rooftop and gave details on their placements, the piping, air conditioners and the other monsters she could see.

" now the problem is how to not let that thing see us and how do we get closer to it to take it down " Christina tape the floor, they only had the ladder to go up and she guessed that thing would see them as soon as they hop over the edge

After cooling down the young lady's burn and treating the other burns and bruises with her cool touch, Eira bandaged the worst of her scratches then gave her a kind pat on the arm, letting her know that she was done. As she brushed her hands off, the shiftress turned to investigate the room and spot where else she was needed.
She saw Fiona rather quickly, mainly hearing the dude she was helping as he was protesting and resisting healing. //She has a lot more patience than I do to deal with that guy... She seems to be doing a good job, though.//
Sjnce that situation seemed wrangled at last, she approached another table where a patient was just sitting there and waiting for someone to help him. Eira leaned in front of him to catch his gaze, and she waved in the friendliest gesture she could. His face was solemn and pale, probably shaken after all he had seen, but her human disguise seemed to be somewhat calming to him. She wasn't nearly as shocking as a lot of the more magical and creature-esque nurses around. Once there seemed to be some kind of trust acknowledged, Eira got to work cooling his burns and treating him with salves and bandages.

...It was both awkward and relieving to not be able to talk to her patient. For one, she couldn't communicate or make conversation with the spooked guy, so it was awkward trying to play charades with him to get him to roll up his sleeves and all. But not talking meant she didn't have to answer two dozens questions of /what on earth happened to this city/ and whatever else people would go on about if they could be understood. //Hopefully a translator will be able to answer everyone's questions, eventually...//

Once she finished bandaging up the tense civillian, Fiona gave him a pat on the back, avoiding his injuries. Most of the other nurses who had been attempting to assist her with him had moved on to other patients--not only were they treating others who needed it, but less strangers also meant better luck with this individual.
The manticore humanoid tried to get a little closer, but he made it very clear he still wouldn't be trusting her by stepping back and muttering a few choice words. Fiona gave him an unhappy look, but reminded herself, //The humans here don't even allow swords or know what a lot of us are--something as crazy as this has gotta be EXTRA tough!//

She turned her expression to a partial smile and stepped forward in front of the man, letting the nurse know that she could leave this to her. Then she motioned to the civillian to follow her as she tried to use herself to help clear a path to let him through--it was disruptful, but they soon arrived at a cot with another person sitting there. The Elemental still had to work a little more with dramatic charades, but with some help from the other patient, they eventually got him to sit down. He wasn't even that angry anymore, just greatly distressed as he hunched over.

//Whew, finally...
...I wish I could do more... It looks like he got really messed up...// She gave another small smile and a much slower thumbs up in thanks to the both of them, then eventually turned to see who else might need help. She stood on her toes and eventually spotted Eira using her magic to help other patients...

//Anna... Anna, help me keep a look out, where's a spot with the fewest people?// Dreameater had asked Rihanna through telepathy before carefully trying to search for such a place himself. By this point, he's not even running anymore, having slowed down to more of a trot--especially after Crimson nearly moved to get off. He growls quietly at some of the king's comments, and mutters, "Watch yourself, Crimson..."

While Eater goes quiet after that growl, Morning Glory/Hope looks back at her parnter's friends. Weakly, she smiles at Catch and says, "I think that's a great idea, Catch..."

" you really gave him the ax!" The Orange hair boy teased, but it wouldn't last long as gun shots went off behind them as more flying monsters were attacking " look like celebrations going to have to wait Admiral!"

With Jason's comments, Boreas's seemingly emotionless state didn't last very long. Still, he simply nodded in agreement with the boy's assessment, "We've got a long way to go--let's see what else we're dealing with!"

The icy Elemental flew over the ogre they'd slain and towards the people firing shots at the airborne monsters. He hovered low to the ground, so as to not accidentally end up in the line of fire.

It was on now, Bubbles continue to flare his head and wings about as he continued to run/pull/slide? Whatever you want to call his goofy movement

Crimson took note on Eater yet again getting aggressive when he was picking in the Dreamer prince, add more and more to maybe, maybe what they were saying about the Nightmare was true but it wasn't something he wanted to think about... thankfully Dreamcatcher had moved the topic and actually came up with a possible plan " give me an arrow " he asked holding out a hand Dreamcatcher did just that, he summon arrow and give it to Crimson, the red king held it and look down at the silvery white and gold shaft, he gripe his hands around it and the arrow started to be covered with blue crystal, a light blue glow faintly illuminated from the crystal and then it dissolved in Crimson hands, even his bracelets had a glow to them, the light glow now halo him for a moment as he held his hands open with the last of the dancing lights, one's he stopped glowing Crimson rubbed his bracelets, they didn't hurt but he did feel something he hadn't before// His magic?...is it because he a moon blood?// the king flexed his fingers as he assimilated the magic that he was given. it was different from the dark creatures he was used to, he had felt healthy magic from the environment of worlds in light but he rarely did from others and the most he did was Crystal in her song that he grew to enjoy, he didn't understand her words but he felt something in them and in her magic, looking back it really seemed like day and night but he couldn't see it, all he knew was the darkness even though he believed he was doing good, it wasn't what was right and it wasn't for true good reasons but now he was understanding their was more

Crimson started at his hands for a moment, he felt it, the darkness inside him clawing in the back of his mind but he has hope now " im ready, you just get into Position and fire when ready and I'll take care of my part "

Catch was watching Crimson and what he did with his Arrow // whoa, so he can still do that with both bracelets on....// he was curious on how this was going to work and there was only one way to find out. Dreamcatcher summon his bow and took aim, as he draw back his bow he felt the sting in his right hand, pulling back the bow itself wasn't really the problem, it was made of magic and that was the problem... Catch was reminded about his injured hand and using his bow took both hands and magic from both// Just got to do enough to get to the top // he did his best not to show his discomfort, it wasn't to bad at the moment but he didn't want to over do it ether.
Crimson let Catch draw his bow and summon an arrow, he held one hand out close to the Arrow and a bit of crystal form on it " fire whenever "

Catch did just that, he let lose his bow string and his Arrow flashed with a light blue flame, it zip and hit the wall were Catch was aiming for and they Crimson rise his other hand, the Arrow busted and rapidly formed into a blue crystal that keep growing until the one who was controlling it stopped it, with it looked big enough for Eater to stand on " are you going to fire again or just stare? "

" what? Oh yeah!" Catch fire again and then again, repeating the same thing of Arrow and Crystals

After a while the Dreamer prince was starting to feel the effects in his right hand more and more, he was close to being done but had to stop and shake his right hand that was going numb

It didn't take long for Rahab to finish off the shade he had targeted. The griffin let the monster drop and he whirled around to face the other foes. He was panting from exertion from all the magic he had spent so far, but he was hardly paying attention while his mind was set on protecting the griffins.
Rahab quickly clasped his eagle talons together, summoning magic that rippled up his wings all the way to his feather tips. With a mix between a lion roar and eagle shriek, he gave his wings a heavy pump and swept a wave of bitter cold wind over his opponents. Any shades who failed to dodge or who were too weak would risk their wings and joints being frozen up by frost.

Many of the monsters were hit by the blast and did just that, the ice froze their wings and other parts of them, the ones who got hit were unable to stay in sky and fell with the inability to move if you're being completely Frozen or to heavy to stay in the air.

The male Vaseterm watch in awe as Rehab cast his spell, it was both dazzling and terrifying as he watched the shadows monsters being to freeze, he was very thankful to be on the ice Griffin side.

The Vaseterm look over his shoulder at the young injured Griffin " hay, im Tim, what your name?" He asked trying to keep her attention

"... L-ucy..." she replied weakly

" Lucy were going to take you somewhere safe ok" Tim dose his best to reassure the girl

Her older brother who looked pretty torn up but nowhere near as bad as his sister fly close to Tim keeping a close eye on his sister " were going to be ok Lulu, just hang in there "

" if the Vanguard are here they would set up camps as their second priority, we should get them to one " Tim turned his attention to Rehab

Glory only smiles faintly back at Catch, and goes back to watching her partner, keeping an eye on him.

Dreameater, meanwhile, has been trying his best to keep focused. "I like seeing you two work together," he mumbles at one point, watching as Catch fires the arrow ahead of him, though he doesn't actually sound pleased at all--it's more like he's just saying it to say something. //They're making a staircase to get in there...// he tries to distract himself with his thoughts, //When we get in there, we're going to fight monsters, but maybe I should try to find Crystal--we can be close by, just in case Crim needs her... And then, I need to shift back, to my... human form...// He narrows his eyes ever so slightly at that thought. Does he /really/ want to shift back...?

After getting his things and leaving the A-team, Terradream flies over the city, searching for anything, and the first thing he spots...

Is a shade the size of a horse, stalking the streets, searching for its next victim after already claiming the life of a man earlier. Not wanting to let that happen, Terra turns invisible so it won't see him, hopefully, and quietly lands on the roof of a building. He puts his bag of things down by some kind of metallic box thing, then heads over to the edge of the building. //Take a deep breath... Need a steady mind for steady aim...// Terra tells himself despite the fact he can't breathe, then speaks telepathically to his Fairfin. //I don't know what all these things can do, I can turn invisible, but that won't do me any good if it can sense magic, with or without the spell affecting it,// he explains, //Can you cautiously fly around it to test it? I'm going to get a little closer and try to take a shot.//

//Sir yes sir!// the invisible Sparky salutes, being able to sense where his partner is, then quickly goes to fly down to the shade. //I'll definitely be sure to be quiet too, you don't have to worry about that!//

Terra turns his eyes to watch his partner go, then carefully hops off the building, floating down a bit more stealthily...

The horse sized monster made its way down the street, it sniff the air trying to catch wind of its next prey.... the monster continued on its way but stop suddenly it felt like something was watching him,
it sniff the air again but didn't smell anything close by so what was it?

The beastie was edge, without its other abilities it couldn't pin point Sparky but knew someone was close

Purity Dreamer giggles and uses a bit of her water magic on herself, making herself slippery and rather bubbly as she practically slides through the grass to the door. Though she does get there first, she doesn't boast much in her victory, and instead congratulates Bubbles on his running and his speed. With both of them knowing a bit more how to move around in this form, Purity then tries to climb up the door to the doorknob so they can go inside, where surely they will continue to play and learn each other more... But for now, perhaps enough has been written for this dream, as Bubbles has fulfilled his purpose--he's brought some happiness back to this Dream and has distracted Purity from her sorrows, giving her a time to relax, if only briefly...

Crystals features twisted at the description of what awaited them on the roof, it sounded terrifying and her expression gave it away that she thought so.. Part of her wanted to wonder how something like it even came to be, but she knew they didn’t have the time to question it right now.

Trying to focus on needing a plan, Crystal then looked down at the invisible map Christina was drawing and listened to everything she said very intently. “Since it seems like there’s no way to hide ourselves from it if we go up there, what if we make it think there’s only one person to go after? One of us goes up first, gets it’s attention and leads it this way-“ she points to what was the farthest side of the roof, “and the other can sneak up and do... something.. to either take it out, or wound it enough to slow it down so we can get a better handle on it once we get to that point.”

Crystal thought for a second then said, “I’m not sure what to do about any of the other monsters that are up there though..”

(Hello guys!

I'm doing pretty good, had a busy week, but it was a good kind of busy. We were able to get outside a lot and finally get our new chickens into their bigger, permanent pen. xP

and yeah the buttons are still messing with me also. xD)

Eira spent a bit of time going from patient to patient, using her icy touch to help relieve pain and cuts and burns, then left the nurses to do the more detailed healing work. She eventually found herself standing on the middle of the room, looking around until she spotted the top of Fiona's head as the Elemental approached. "How'reyou doing?" Eira asked, brushing off her hands and releasing a breath. "It's constantly busy in here, isn't it... I hope we're helping enough."

"Oh, snacks? Glad to be working alongside someone who comes prepared." Boreas commented, a faint, lighthearted smirk on his face.

He swiftly landed and joined Jason in battle against the flying creatures, chucking his hammer into the air, and tightening his left hand into a fist. The weapon shattered and reshaped into sharp shards of ice that the Captain sent hurtling towards a small group of three monsters who were looking about to swoop in on the people at the same time as the one Jason targeted.

Rahab surveyed the air around them, making sure there was no more shades creeping up on them, and then he looked over the people they had been rescuing. The ones on his back were clinging on for dear life, looking clueless and tired from the fights and scares. "Yall hanging in there? We're bringing you to a safe camp, so hang on."
The griffin turned to the Vaseterm who had been fighting alongside him. "Hey, Tim, you said? You know where that camp would be?" He did svan the city below them as he said it though, still doing his part to try and spot it if possible. He was looking for a concentration of Vaseterms and reinforcements.

I got the whole day off after working a crazy week, exactly Friday and yesterday. This morning we spent time with mom and had a good big breakfast together and now we're all just been lazy xD

Fiona meandered through the crowd as she headed to Eira, making sure to stop for the nurses passing by this time, and helping out where she could by ushering people through. Thankfully it wasn't too long before she'd made it. She let out a breath as well, glancing around the bustling camp. Along with their help, the trained medics and nurses had thinned out the crowd some.
"I'm doing alright. Yeah, it's /still/ crazy in here... But I... I think we've been doing good." She looked to the griffin shapeshifter, "It's awesome how you use your magic to help! How're you holding up, though?"
Fiona didn't know much about Eira and her magic... But she had learned a few things just today that made her wonder.

(Ahhh, that's great that you got some family time today, Fade! You definitely deserve a nice break after everything, too. ^-^

Christina could see the look of fear in Crystal eyes // she might been sent by the Silver spear but she not a Warrior // but she didn't think little of the girl, in fact as the human suggested her strategy on how to go about this // I don't really see any other way but that ether but who to go first? Who ever dose will have Those guards hot on their tail but who ever go last has to deal with what ever that eyeball thing is...well She might not be a fighter but she already proved she do what she has to// the pink officer tap the metal floor with her figures " I think that the only way " she stands up and draws her sight up to the ladder " I can go first, I can draw the monsters attentions on me and see what I can do about those guards, at least by as much time, but will you be able to handle that thing on your own?" Christina asked looking back to the girl for her answer.

[ I have Fath in you, if I didn't I would pick you] Arthur chime in his teasing optimistic way [ remember there more then one way to skin a cat, just like there more then one way to take on challenge you just got to think outside the box or why not use the box? Boxes are great for all kinds of things, you can put stuff in them, if there big enough you can hide in them or even toss them at something for a weapon, see tons of options! ]

Crimson didn't say anything to the Nightmare comment, he just tipped his head slightly as he listened. The king turned his attention on Catch

Catch lower his bow, he could feel the tingly sensation throughout his right arm but would shot more if Weaver needed him to " hey, brother will you be able to make it the rest of the way?" He wasn't sure if he got the last few close enough, his arm was going numb and making his aim shaky

It takes Eater a moment to actually look at the crystal staircase ahead of him. "... That... Yeah, I can make that, you did good," he grunts, then shakes his head again, even his whole body a little, before trotting over to the stairs. "Catch--how're you holding up? Your arm... You used your bad arm," he rather awkwardly points out, as if just now realizing that, and he starts carefully jumping up the crystals.

" be prepared is the Scouts code!" Jason cheered in reply, even though Boreas probably didn't know about boy scouts

The Orange hair shapeshifter had to bring his bike to a stop because of the barrier of cars. He quickly parked it as Boreas sprung into action. He grabbed his crossbow and slung a belt with gear over shoulder. Jason then took other shot at a monster before needing higher ground, he got up on a car as he Reloaded and then fired again. " 2, 3, that makes 4 or Captain you want that one or split it? " he thinks out loud as Boreas finishes one he hit

With the new help the people on the building or standing a good chance against the monsters forces

Crystal only felt more worried when Christina agreed with what she said, then even more so when the officer said she’d go first and moved to the ladder.

The girl couldn’t answer the next question right away, her mind swirling with thoughts.. ‘Maybe I should go first, she doesn’t deserve to be put in that situation.. what if I can’t do anything in time.. If some of the others could be here.. they’d be so much better at this..’ Despite her brief hesitation, Crystal soon gave a nod and said “Yes,” though she felt bad once that single word came out, felt like she was lying because she didn’t know if she could do it, she only knew she had to, whatever it took to make sure Christina didn’t get hurt and that they took care of this situation to help everyone back on the ground too.

It took everything she had to not look surprised when Crystal heard Arthur pipe in from inside her head. She couldn’t help but think about how he had quite the timing, but she also thought about what he said, at first feeling grateful, then trying to figure out exactly what he meant about the boxes. She wanted to respond and ask questions, but didn’t know what Christina would think if she suddenly started talking to herself, so she figured she’d wait for a moment before doing so.

Boreas had no clue what boy scouts were... He assumed it was like the other nicknames and games Jason played. Either way, codes were important to follow, especially if they meant coming prepared.

He went along with it, angling one of his shots to spear through two more of the monsters. But he didn't count his own hits out loud... His mind was a little more focused on the situation and backup plans.

Eater just didn't sound right and it was making Catch worry about Weaver more then anything, but he let his bow dissolve when the Nightmare said the stars were good enough " I just need to give that arm a rest for a bit, I'll be fine Weaver " he try to reassure his friend.

Crimson keep quiet, he leaned forward to get a better hold of Eater as he made his jumps up. though he didn't say anything the red king did reach back and grabbed Dreamcatcher by his shirt when Eater took a bigger jump, he knew the Dreamer prince wasn't holding onto him nor would Catch be able to hold onto Eater very well from the back were he was.

It was a good thing to because Catch was losing his balance with the jumping, he made a startled grunt getting grabbed as he felt himself falling backwards. " huh?" Catch looked at red king with surprise as he was pulling up.

Crimson just slightly glace over his shoulder " don't be stupid, I'm not going to kill you for touching me but a fall might " he bluntly said and let go of Catch when he was up right.

Catch was nervous but he was right, sure a fall from here might not kill him, Dreamers are Hardy creatures but he would likely break something...with that fears of his childhood trauma crept back and he quickly placed a hand on Crimson shoulder to help support himself " t-hanks.. " he Mumble doing his best to hid his fears, the last thing he wanted was to feed Eater

" Weaver were almost there! " Anna chime in noticing her friend struggle as well and to help him focus on her.

Dreameater pauses just a moment when he feels himself nearly losing one of his passengers, and even more so when he can taste some fears from said passenger, but shortly after that he goes to jump up the last couple of stairs. "Hold on... Almost there..." he mumbles again, repeating what Anna said to himself as he makes the final jump up.
"Ok... Alright, we're up. Now we just get over the guards' barricade... I can run on the rooftops... Then jump back down... I can run until we find monsters... And then..." Eater goes quiet, thinking again. //I... I don't want to shift back to my human form, I'm always hiding, always hiding everything, always using energy to keep myself suppressed, I don't want to go back to that! But I have to convince them...//
"... I... I changed my mind," he finally says in a rather eerily calm voice, starting his run across the rooftops.

The monsters being to look for what was given him that feeling, he cautiously walked looking around, moving his head slowly to see if it could spot, hear or smell anything, it moved in Sparky Direction but not completely towards him, it couldn't pin down the Fairfin, it just knew something was there

Terradream watches the shade very carefully, and tries to remain invisible as he shape shifts his form to be that of his human form, to make himself smaller. //I'm seeing two ways we could go about this, it's already on edge, you could try to unnerve it more and guide it in my direction by pushing it away with your presence, or you could make it seem as if you're afraid and trying to hide, you could lure it over here,// he tells his Fairfin, //I'm more inclined to try the latter, as the former might make it bolt, if it's possible for you to startle it too much... Can you handle the latter?//

//Aww, you know I can, boss man,// Sparky cheerfully replies, //You be ready with the surprise present, Santa Claus! I'll bring him right to ya!// With that, Sparky carefully backs up and moves over to a small pile of debris, where he hides behind it, deliberately knocks some of it over, and lets out a fearful squeak.

Terra makes no comment on what Sparky said.

Christina nodded and ready her gun with the girl answer, he took a breath " alright, don't go over the Edge until I get there full attention " she wasted her pistol and them started up the ladder.

[ your not going to have a whole lot of time once on top by what it sounds] Arthur knew his handler, she was young and had been tossed into a world she hardly had anytime to sit and understand, she was given a burden she didn't ask for but he had chosen her for who she was, not because of some birth right or some great achievement, he didn't pick her not because she could become these things but because she was just a girl who had a selfless heart for others, he trusted her and he knew she still needed to learn how to trust herself [ keep a clear head Crystal, set aside your doubts for now, don't accept defeat before you even try, you can fret about doubts that might not even happen later, right now focus on what needs to be done, I believe in you ]

Christina picked over the Edge, she waited for Crystal to get in position before she went over, ones the human girl was that when the officer made her move...Christina hurled herself over over the edge, it didn't take long for the monster with all the eyes to spot her, it opened its many mouths and an odd chatting sounds came from it... with that the other monsters nearby were alerted and draw it the pink officers position.

Christina was already on the move to the location Crystal had pointed out, pulling out her gun, she firing at the closet monster heading her way.

She was doing her job well, for now everything had her attention, including the monster with the many eyes, it just stayed in its hidden place making the odd chatting sounds as it's eyes followed Christina movements

Catch didn't let go of Crimson, he didn't feel as bad in using him for support as Eater ran and jumped across the Rooftops. Things seem to be going well in that since But went Eater brought up his last comment both Catch and Crimson knew it wasn't going to be good....

" no" Crimson bluntly said first " whatever it is, is stupid "

Catch just blinked at Crimson, sure Eater was up to something but they didn't even know what, they again, it was Eater wasn't it? It didn't seem like Weaver, but what did Eater change his mind to? " we don't even know what it is that he wanted..." he thinks out loud

" nothing good, despite what you believe, your friend...is a Nightmare Catcher, don't forget that " Crimson replied still holding his bluntness

The Nightmare bares his teeth for just a moment when Crimson immediately shoots him down, but he keeps running. "I--No, it's not stupid...! It'll be better..." Eater protests at first, "It'll be better, because there won't be so many people in there by now, just monsters, so I don't have to shape shift back to my human form! I'll be fine, I'll be fine, Catch, in my true form, I don't need to shift back..."
