(I was going to get to this, eventually. I got to get back into the zone for this and this is the first time you ever drew Lann.)

Hunter: *exhales* It's a real nice change from being in the heavily populated areas.

Lann: I guess those fantasy books weren't completely off after all. It's not bad, I can get use to this area's relaxing tone.

( It's ok. I've been in slumps, too. I figured you may have been busy, so I tried to do it! o/ Tbh, I was nervous cuz I can't draw her as good as you can, lol. )

Alexi: Mm, it's great! Half of my childhood was spent here. The air's so fresh, and I've forgotten how wonderous it is in the woods. ^-^

-She continues to lead the two until the come to a cave. It has a few prisms coming from the ground at the entrance. Big ones, in fact-

Alexi: Here we are; Kaleidescope Cavern! Just as I remember it, too! Heh.. a-and just as dark.. :'D

(I like it, she doesn't look bad for your first time. I want to do a sketch of her just like how I did for Alex and Hunter, but I haven't been able to do so because of myself being worn out lately. Once I do though it would be a great addition to my new tag.)

Lann rubs Alex's head before stepping in front of the group with her palm facing towards the sky. Her hand start to be surrounded by a dimly green aura, then that aura flies from her hand and above her palm creating a bright green orb.

Lann: I would advise you two not to stare directly at it.

She walks further in as Hunter grasp a hold of Alex's hand and follows close behind his sister.

Hunter: So what exactly is so special about this place?

Alexi: Wow! I didn't know you could do that, Lann! That's great, now we can see! :3 *she turns to Hunter* This is the place where my mother took me as a kid. It holds special memories for me.. And it's something I want to share with you two. ^-^
-So saying, she enters with them. The cave looks pretty dark and uninteresting, but Alexandra's face is filled with excitement. It seems like there's something deeper inside that she knows about-

Alexi: Just a little further, and we'll be in the spot. :) When we reach it, you're gonna be surprised. Especially since Lann has a light... ;)

Hunter was having some doubt that this cave was anything special, nothing big or exciting has happened and the only surprising thing that did go down on their hike was him running into a spider web and freaking out over it . He's definitely not a fan of dealing with anything bug related, so that just wanted to make him leave even more.

Hunter: Alex are you sure this is going to be as great as you say it is and this isn't just the nostalgia talking? Years has pasted since you were a kid and time may have affected this wonderful place of yours drastically for whatever reason.

Alexi: Ho ho ho.... It looks that way, but I assure you, there's a big surprise hidden here.. ;)

-They keep going for a while, but suddenly, Alexandra stops. A big smile was on her face-

Alexi: This is the spot! And the sun should be just about over the opening..!

-Just as she says this, sunlight shoots through a hole at the top of cavern. The light bounces from prism to prism, eventually hitting a big prism. The light radiates everywhere in a splendid display of colors! Alexandra's eyes light up as she turns to them-

Alexi: Isn't this cool!? :D

The two were quite astonished by the unordinary sight presented in front of them.

Lann: Guess I won't be needing this. *makes the green orb vanish*

Hunter: Wow I suppose this does live up to the hype, no wonder you wanted to share this light show with us Alex.

Lann: It's quite astounding, you definitely wouldn't be able to find a place like this in our world so easily without possibly making some sacrifices along the way.

Alexi: From what I learned about your world, it is quite sad how some humans don't perserve some of their world's natural wonders. But there are those who still have heart for it!

-She clasps her hands together-

Alexi: Being able to share this with you two... I hope it was as lovely for you as it is for me. :) Thank you for accompanying me here, it truly made me happy.

-After looking one last time at the spectacle, she looks towards the exit. Do you choose to stay for a while longer, or make your way out and try to find the portal Jocelyn made?-

Hunter: *sneaks up behind and hugs her* No thank you for showing us this special place of yours, I loved the sight but it will never beat the feeling I get from just seeing you everyday! *smooch smooch*

Lann traces her hand on one of the prisms, she recognized that the light was steadily dimming down and that their show was soon to be over so she summoned the green orb from on the way in and headed for the exit.

Lann: *smacks Hunter upside the head* Enough of that lover boy, we need to get a move on finding that portal and I don't need you causing Alex trouble right now by slowing her down.

Hunter: Oww, *pouts* you could of just asked nicely.

-Alexandra fights back her urge spin around and smooch him back as she nods-

L-Lann has a point, H-Hunter. There.. *Ahem* will be time for that later when we get out.

-Waving away some steam, she asks Lann if she could light the way again and the group make their way out.
As they came out, the bushes sounded as if someone, or something, was walking through them-

???: *SNORT*! That's weird, I thought for sure there was an elf around here s'mewhere.. The scent's still fresh..

Alexi: ........Huh? .-.

(Lol, me and my siblings do the same thing to each other whenever one of us embarrass the other.)

Hunter quickly covers Alex's mouth while slowly backing away, he was getting a real nasty vibe from the unknown entities voice and comment. Lann was feeling the same way, she was trying to find a good hiding spot for the three before motioning towards the undergrowth near by.

-As they hid themselves, the thing attached to the voice came forth: An Orc.
He was big, very muscular, with wild-looking hair. He sported a nose-ring, and was wearing some torn battle shorts. Hunter feels Alexandra's skin go cold. Upon looking at her, her face was completely blue with fear. He might be something, despite even having an unhinged side, that really scared her. She tried to whisper to them, but she couldn't speak due to fear-

Orc: I guess I musta just missed em'... Darn, and I thought I had one. Brother woulda finally been proud o' me..

-Sighing, he sits down looking defeated. This poses as a problem, because the group needed to head past him to get to the portal opening..-

Hunter: *whispers* I 've got an idea, all you two need to do is stay quiet and be ready.

Lann didn't say anything, at this moment she had faith that her brother knew what he was doing. Hunter slowly crawls away from the group while trying to get as far from that area as possible before jumping completely back up to his feet, he planned on making a diversion for Lann and Alex. He ran around in the deeper parts of the wooded area screaming, shacking trees, and throwing large logs and rocks to kind of throw off where he was.

@Veggyunju ( Right? Everything just hits you so fast now. It's weird and I hate it. :'D I just wanna draw for you guys like I used to, lol. And thanks! I found out how to do that rainbow effect from some tutorials. :3 )

Orc: D'ahh! What was that!?

-Scrambling to his feet, he jolts down the path of the noise to investigate. Alexandra, still pretty scared, looks to Lann-

Alexi: Sh-sh-sh-should we g-go..? Hunter will c-catch u-u-up to us, w-won't he?? ;-; WON'T HE??

-Every fiber of her being wants to dash to the portal, but she's worried about her Hunter-bear-

Lann: Hunter will be fine, but right now we need to force on your well-being. That thing is mainly looking for you so the quicker you leave through the portal the better.

Lann tightly holds onto Alex's hand and beelines for the portal, she was a little worried for her brother as well but Alex seemed like a top priority to her in this situation. As for Hunter he was standing on one of the tree branches near the top to use as a hiding spot and vantage point since he got a little bit lost since splitting up.

Hunter: Where is that stupid portal? I would like not to deal with that thing if I can.

-The Orc is busy surveying the area. His face looks pretty startled, looking at the destruction Hunter caused as a distraction-

Orc: I-is this really where that screaming was comin' from?? Lookit this place, it's terrible! Whatever did this must've got whoever was screamin' here... I'd better go tell big bro, this doesn't look good..!

-So saying, he ran back to the dwelling he came from. Just as he left, light flashed nearby in the woods! And not just flashed, but flashed in a peculiar pattern. As if it was a signal.

Jocelyn: I could've went to get him, Alex..

Alexi: N-NOOO, YOU COULD GET EATEN! D':

Jocelyn: *Sighs, and releases a few more sparking light balls up in the sky through the portal-

Hunter: Now that looks promising.

He starts swinging and jumping from branch to branch towards the lights before diving into the portal and tumbling to a stop.

Hunter: Yaaayy, I made it back.

-Alexandra glomps him without a second thought, relieved he found his way back-

Jocelyn: *Scoffs* I swear, you know Orcs are wandering around that area. And that you're deathly afraid of them. -_-

Alexi: I'm sorry.. :'D I uh, no one got eaten, though!

Jocelyn: You're just like mom... Anyway, I'm gonna go in, cuz.. reasons.

-With that, Jocelyn jumps in through the portal closing behind her-

Alexi: Be safe... Uh.. That was pretty, how the kids say, clutch. :'D I hope you liked it, sorry I was a big baby..
-Alexandra looks sheepish. She wanted them to have a great time, but she alnost put them in danger-

Hunter: It wasn't to bad, the thrill was a nice change from my usual days but I was pretty scared that you would of got caught once I left even with Lann. Anyway I would of been in the same position as you if we had ran into any giant insects during our time there.

Lann: Yeah I'm glad I made the right call there, it never came to mind for me that you would of had orcs around along with the fact that they eat people like you. I enjoyed myself before that fiasco happened..although *pouts* now I'm disappointed since I didn't get a chance to have a nice conversation with your sister Jocelyn, wonder what she was in a rush to leave for anyway. Is it because I'm around?

Alexi: Oh, I'm sure that's not the case! You and my sister have the same energy, it's shocking, really. Like looking at a twin. ^-^ ...Though, I'm not sure why she went in there. Isn't she scared of orcs, too?? But I digress.. She probably won't be long. Should we wait for her?

-You could wait here, or go investigate what Tricia's doing-

Lann: I want to but at the same time this would be a good chance for me to interact with the other members of your family so I don't seem like a complete stranger to them next time around.

Hunter: *groans* I would like you to get to know them as well, but there's one person that I really want to avoid for awhile. Do I have to come along?

Lann: Yes because I said so, senior superiority.

Lann is willing to check up on what Tricia and the other fam are up to while dragging Hunter along for the ride.

-Tricia's tasting something she just took out of the oven. She makes a sour face...-

Tricia: B-blegh... Tastes bland.. >u< I knew I should've put more salt in that- Oh! Well hello there, kiddos. Ahhn, a more mature soul. ;) Who's this?

Alexi: This is Hunter's big sister, Lann. Lann, this is my mother, Tricia.

Tricia: A pleasure to meet you, dear. Mm-hm, you're just full of surprises, aren't you, Hunter? I'd invite you two for dinner, but.. *shakily turn to her bland creation* Ugh, it didn't turn out how I wanted... The only one who'd eat it with no questions is my husband. And I just couldn't do that to my big monster. ^^'

Lann: It's very nice to meet the mother of Alex, say if you don't mind I would like to give that a try.

She went ahead and tasted the food that Tricia was so disappointed in without hesitation.

Lann:..It's not horrible, I wouldn't mind eating this even if I'm the only one to do so. It would be a waste to get rid of this besides it's not like it's poisoned.

Tricia: Ahhh, really? Then you can stay! Both of you! I'll just get an extra salt shaker, hehe.. Oh.. By the way.. Hunter, may I talk to you in my room?
Alexi: H-hey, what're you trying to pull here, mother?? If you do anything cheeky-!

Tricia: Please Alexandra, why are you always so on edge? I just have something to tell him about... his friend. That's all. You don't know him, so you wouldn't get it.

-She gives her daughter a wink, sticking her tongue out at her as she takes Hunter by the arm to their bedroom-

Tricia: ...So. You and my husband are shaky grounds. Let your future, devestatingly hot mother-in-law remedy that. Vilre wants you to challenge him for your right to date Alex. It's a tradition passed through Dark Elves. ^^' He doesn't get, or rather, refuses to accept you two just like each other. So, if you properly do this, he'll quit being a grouch, and won't stalk and try to kill you anymore. :)

Hunter: Yeah, but now he's going to try and kill me in the fight! *sigh* I'll give it a shot though, it would be better if I could not be the one on the receiving end of his negative feelings for the rest of my life. So where is he anyway?

Tricia: Hooooh? Don't tell me you're scared of him? ;D If you go into your little match with that way of thinking, he'll never let you live it down. Or live, for that matter, tee-hee.. No, you have to declare your intentions, and not back down. Any sign of fear, and Vilre will eat you alive. Figuratively speaking.
There's a reason I roped him to be my hubby... So rough... Mmnngh... <3

-Tricia gets lost in thought before snapping to-

Tricia: *Ahem*! But as I said before: Challenge him, don't back down or show fear, and you'll get his attention. ...Also, having some strength wouldn't hurt, either.. *Feels his bicep* He'll be home in a few minutes, so that will be your time to challenge him.
-With that, Tricia leaves to go prepare the table and to get to know Lann a little more-

Hunter stays in the room to think real long and hard on what to do for when Vilre finally makes an appearance. Moving our attention back to Lann, she didn't want to be seen as a bad house guest by just sitting around doing nothing so while Tricia was having a chat with her brother she took it upon herself with some help from Alex to set up the table. She covered the table with a white cloth, placed seven sets of plates, cups, napkins, and utensils while finally adding her own personal touch by spreading around these small floating balls of light.

Lann: I'm pretty proud of myself for putting this together on the spot, thanks for telling me where everything was Alex.

Alexi: Oh, thank YOU for helping out! I used to help Jocelyn when she was around the house more. Having you around is a joy, Lann! ^-^

Tricia: Glad to see you two are getting along. ^-^ Now don't hog her all night, I want to see what our fair Lann is about as well.

-Tricia admires the work Lann did for the kitchen when the front doorknob jiggles. After hearing some muffled swearing, the door opens-

Vilre: ...I smell food. Looks like I came home on time.

Tricia: I wouldn't get too excited, I forgot the salt. :'D

Vilre: I already told you back in our mercenary quests; I'd eat anything you'd make. Even if it was poisoned. :v

Tricia: Ara ara... Don't butter me up like that, honey.. That's how we ended up becoming parents. :D Are you trying to do it again?

Vilre: You're too much sometimes, woman...

-Alexandra chokes after hearing her parents. She's too embarrassed to speak-

(*gasp* MOTHER SAID THE THING!)

Lann: *pats Alex's back* There there, I be feeling the same way whenever Hunter does something stupid. Speaking of which where is he?

Hunter: *comes sliding into Vilre's view* Alex is going to be with me for now and forever and if you still got a problem with that then FIGHT ME!

Lann suddenly starts viciously coughing from that unexpected comment. This was the only way Hunter could think of challenging Vilre without his fear getting the best of him.

@ShihouxAdventure ( You seemed shocked. You KNOW Tricia's the kind of woman who'd say that! x'D )

-Alexandra frantically pats Lann on the back, giving her some water. Her eyes are so wide by Hunter's statement that if they got any wider, they'd pop out of her head!
Vilre drops his fork and stares Hunter in the eyes. His usual angry expression softens up for a bit, but a look of a father stares back at him-

Vilre: ...Is that so... Well, I don't think you have what it takes to take care of her. Let me tell you somethin', boy. I didn't think I'd need anything else besides ultimate strength. Until Trish came into my life. She gave me herself and three girls I'd venture to the underworld and back to keep them safe.

Tricia: Oh my.. <3

Vilre: If you're that deadset on being with Alexandra... Prove it to me, then. Tomorrow, in our realm at Dead Man's Field. IF you somehow get me to give up, I'll approve of you..

-Vilre folds his arms. Those were his conditions-

Hunter: *growls* Why can't we go right now!? My mind's weirded and bloods boiling to get this fight over with, I don't even know where this Dead Man's Field i-

Lann: Alright that's enough, stop setting a bad example for the both of us. Sorry about that sir.

Lann cuts Hunter off by pulling him by the collar of his shirt like a dog fighting back against it's leash before sitting him down into a seat beside her at the table. Hunter was frustrated with having to wait until tomorrow because now he would have to find a way to bottle up all that adrenaline and fear, honestly it wasn't going to be an easy task to do so alone.

Vilre: It's fine.. At least he finally has the guts to challenge me like a real man.

Tricia: Oh brother.. :'D Well, it's still better to try to do it when you're both well rested.
Alexi: I still don't get it, why do you insist on fighting him, dad!?

Vilre: You just don't get it, Alexandra. This is a fight between men. I have to know if you're in good hands with this runt. And he'll have to prove it to me. Tomorrow...

-Vilre begins eating. He's not as tense as he was. It seems as though Hunter finally got through to him. But the real test would begin tomorrow... As they ate, Jocelyn enters through a portal, a bag hovering just behind her-

Jocelyn: I'm home.. Oh, you're Hunter's sister. I had to take care of some business, but I wanted to talk to you. Just.. lemme wash up.

Tricia: Ah, the family's all here. Isn't it nice, dear? :)

Vilre: Not yet.. Not until tomorrow. *Munch*

Yumi: Do your best, Hunter! ^o^

Hunter: *sigh* Thanks for the encouragement Yumi.

Hunter felt a little down in the dumps and irritated when Vilre said he had no guts before he challenged him and calling him a runt, so hearing Yumi say that made him feel a little better about himself as he ate his food.

Lann: That's fine Jocelyn, say you all wouldn't mind letting us stay for today would you? Seeing as how you two *motions towards Vilre and Hunter* will be fighting tomorrow.

Yumi: You're gonna be great! ^o^

Tricia: It's fine! RIGHT, Vile? >:)

Vilre: o-o' Uh, yeah, whatever... Excuse me. *Finishes dinner and leaves*

Jocelyn: Well then, guess you're staying. If you want, Lann, you can bunk in my room. Somethin' tells me you're into the same stuff as me in some fronts.

Tricia: Sooooo, I guess you and my Alex are gonna be "bunking" in her room? ;)

Alexi: MOTHER!! D///:

Tricia: Kidding, kidding. x'D *Pats Hunter on the back* Well now... It's all gonna be up to you tomorrow.. Good luck, we'll be sitting in the barrier. I guess I can toy with my husband tonight to throw him off somewhat tomorrow. :D *walks off*

Alexi: ...Why can't the floor swallow me up?? :'o ...Hunter. No matter what my father says or does, you're still gonna be my boyfriend. A-and if he says otherwise, I-I'll-! *Hair becomes slightly wild before returning to normal* ...We'll still be together. I promise.

Lann: That would be great, see you tomorrow Hunter and don't stay up to late! *quickly follows after Jocelyn*

After everyone else left and Alex gave him her heart warming speech Hunter gave her in return a strong hug.

Hunter: Lady luck must of been shining down on me during the day I meet you because I always feel so lucky to have you stick with me. You always make me want to do better for you even when I don't know how, like now for instance. Maybe winning this fight will be my way in doing so, but if I fail then...I feel like I'm secretly letting you down.

Alexi: You will NEVER let me down, Hunter. You've already proved it the day we met. :] *Hugs him back* Now let's get some sleep, so you can show my dad who else wears the pants in this family! >:3

-She pumps her fist in the air to show her support. Nothing, not even Vilre will get her away from her love. She leads Hunter to her room ( which is much cleaner now ), and sat down on the bed-

Alexi: ...I shouldn't distract before tomorrow... But... I'll give a good luck 'session'. Just a quick thing, n-nothing more!

-She gently pulls Hunter close to her, locking lips with him. Not too intense, but but he could definitely feel the gentleness and passion from her lips to his-
