The loud monsters Roar was a T-Rex shape shade, it was chasing after a car JP style.

A pack of werewolf size shades we heading towards Nora, Ai and the rest of their party, being drawn by the girls shouting.

Black birds made their way around the city, they didn't seem to do much.

[ Sky]

A group of Harpies are battling flying monsters over by some tall buildings.

The two Griffins were over run, the smaller of the two was picked off first and followed was the older one. Those monsters were now moving towards Harpies.

A red dragon was flying though the sky, she was taking on small shades just fine but she was a bigger target, other had gotten away from her and now bigger shades were on their way.

Alexandrea looked to Terra when he called, her crest rose up and her eyes were bright, "Hey, we got one!" she chirped in amusement when Terra asked her about the civilian on her back.

She just let Fiona answer that as she coo'd. "So where do we head now?"

Terra slows down somewhat when Fiona speaks up, and he stares with wide eyes at what he thought was a human... //... Fiona...???// he thinks, becoming a bit embarrassed and transparent because of this, but he's also still rather shaken from the encounter he just came out of with the gremlins. "... H--huh...?" he mumbles, vaguely hearing Alex's question.

"WOW! Fiona, you're super duper disguised!!" Sparky cheers, flying around the Elemental a bit before looking over at his partner again. "Terra Era, sharp mind, remember?"

"... Wh-what're we doing here?" Terra stutters and blinks, then it seems to hit him, "What /are/ we doing up here?! We need to make sure no o-other civillians are being attacked... O-or we could even just try to clear out whatever shadow monsters we see, so they don't end up coming across anyone..."

After cautiously glancing around again, Fiona looked back and gave Terra a sympathetic smile as he turned more transparent.

"Yeah! I don't even really know what I look like, either!" She replied to Sparky's declarations, keeping a slight smile on her face. The only things she knew was her hair was weird... And her voice sounded kinda weird too--but that wasn't what she was trying to focus on.

"Right! We gotta get moving! I just really don't like how quiet things are over here--" The Elemental said in response to both Alex and Terra, narrowing her eyes a little as she thought she spotted something in the distance, "...Wait... Guys, there's a /dragon/ over there!" She pointed to what she was seeing.

The Vanguard group came together, Nora had gotten on the back of the Mare to to help keep Ai on.

The small mix group Vaseterm and half bloods started on their way back to one of their base camps " were heading back, we bringing back one Runaway " Nora called on her ear piece.

Nora brother stay on the Rooftop, he scraped his paw across the roof, he wasn't pleased about this, none of the Vanguard were, but few of them showed it, Ai was spoiled, she lacked responsibility and this act showed it But none of them wanted to see a child get injured or worse killed and it was their responsibility to bring her back safely, even though their mission was to save the people of the city and now they had a take time out to save a girl who threw herself into Danger.

No one said anything as they traveled though the streets, just the sound of chaos, monsters and people screaming, along with crackling of fire and alarms, everyone was on high alert, the monsters could come from any Direction, this was a war zone.

Ai heard what Nora said, she felt shame and just even more frustration burn through her. She knew she was in trouble and she knew others weren't pleased with her.

To her, it all felt unfair, she knew she was made for war. But in her mind, she also knew, she was a dumb and useless filly.

"It not fair!" Ai just yelled out, "If I had my magic I can help! My familiar can help! I got heal magic! I got a bad touch!" she was just done with being little and worth nothing. When she knew she could be something.

With Crimson turning and keeping quiet, Dreameater hopes that the red king is getting himself more under control, and for now he'll leave him to it... After Catch has given Blue his three rune stickers, the Nightmare lightly taps Dreamcatcher on the shoulder with one of his shackled chains and quietly says, "I think Crim could still use some of those, he was already struggling a bit with the idea of not having enough magic, I'd say every little bit to keep him stable could help."

He then turns his head to glance at Blue, but ends up staring at him for a moment, pinning his ears back slightly as he studies his life aura... then stretches his neck around to look at Qui. "... Hey, are you sure he should be out here? He looks like he's ten minutes away from being six feet under..." he mumbles.

Blue nodded to Qui, "We'll get going now" he replied gently to her, he turned his head back to Eater. "I am not that bad" He snorts, "I'm missing a few gemstones, not limbs, I'll be fine. I need to go, Ai is out there, in the battlefield"

He hands Qui the stickers, then shifts to his true form, wincing at the ache pulsing through his head. "Qui get on, you'll put the stickers on us when it's time" he kneeled, so his short mate could get on easier.

" good luck you two" Catch wave a hand. He himself was sure what they all were getting into but here they go.

Qui was worried by what Eater said, losing gemstones wasn't some small thing, it could lead to devastating side effects and even insanity and worst death, she knew Blue had to be pushing his limits after battling Malice last night and what happened to him earlier but he always managed to pull through but this was one of the worst cases she seen him in.

Qui took a breath and took the stickers, she was putting her trust in him but felt guilty that she was letting him do this in his condition, as she was climbing on Blue back she whispered " please just don't over do it "

The Dreamer prince looked Eater and then back down to his half of stickers " right " // we don't need him trying blood magic again// he walked over to the red king " hey Crimson, I still have some left, it might do the same for you as the rest of us?" He said and offer one of the stickers, pulling it off and holding it on the tip of his fingers

Crimson was lost in thoughts when Catch approaches him, he turned his head but didn't say anything as the prince offer the magic item, he tipped his head and then slowly reached for it " this, this is what can counter the king of Nightmares great spell?" He took Loyalty and went to put it on his back, though it wasn't a bond sword Crimson had full control of his armor, Crystal's formed around the sword to make a sheath for it.

Crimson then took the sticker and examined it between his fingers, in touching it the sticker made his fingers tips turn silvery blue, Crimson didn't say anything, a part of him didn't want anything to do with it, he was fine, what could this little sticker do that he couldn't do on his own? He had ways in getting magic... but could tell this was no ordinary item and the ways he knew were not right...

Crimson took his right hand and placed it on his left arm, that spot on his armor glowed and peeled back to were his skin was showing, he then took the sticker and placed it on his arm and then closed up his armor " thanks " was all he said.

Catch just smile nervously as he said " glad to help!" He then put the rest of the stickers in his pocket " we should get going to " he pointed to Eater and made his way over to his friend

Crimson rubbed his arm a bit before following, he didn't say more.

The girl listened and what was said made her think back to earlier in the kitchen, remembering what Terra had said to them about the attack going on. “Oh, yes, we were told that what’s going on is indeed some kind of spell bringing these monsters out of hiding, it’s a little more difficult to explain any further, but that’s the basics of it..” Crystal said, confirming what Christina had explained.

When Josh piped in, Crystal gave a small smile and nodded back to him when he spoke to her, but since he couldn’t understand her, she decided against saying anything back.

She also stays quiet as the two officers talked, watching them back and forth. At least, until they got back on track.

The girl glanced to the rooftops Christina gestured to, “Well,” Crystal looked over at where the ogre was now, not even believing what she was about to say, “By the looks of it my teammates have that monster focused on them right now, but I’m not sure for how long.." she started, her tone edged with worry, "Do you think we might be able to get closer to what’s on those rooftops if we’re careful..? Maybe try to deal with it now that there’s an opportunity..”

Christina rubbed one of her fins as Crystal explained what she knew was going on with this spell// so it is something that reveals hidden magic...it makes sense now why everyone's disguises broke and spells stop working... why and who did this is going to have to wait, right now we got to stop who ever sending these flyers down here//
The pink humanoid smirked at Crystal with her suggestion " normally it against regulations to have a civilian come along but in this situation and you being with a silver Spears I'll take your help" she pointed pointed to wear across the street was, from there was alleyways with fire escapes " right, the big ogre who been giving us problems is busy, we can get across the street and
the way I see it, we got two options, go though one of the buildings in hope they have an exit to the roof or go to the alleyway and use the fire escape, both will take us into unknown conditions, these things seem to like dark places "

"Fingers!~" Purity laughs and giggles, waddling a little closer to Bubbles, she sticks out her claws and starts tickling the side of his long neck. "Tickle tickle tickle!~"

Bubbles let out a loud squeal getting tickled, he coil his head back as he giggle with his hiss accent.
The little Wyvern then go's to do the same to Purity, taking his paws and wiggles his fingers to tickle her "Ticksslesss, Ticksslesss, Ticklsssss! "

Rahab dipped his head in confirmation of what the male Vaseterm informed him. "They'd better move quick. Things will get worse before they get better," he muttered ominously with another glance to the dark clouds. The griffin gazed to the city below, eagle eyes investigating the situation below. He could see Vaseterm reinforcements and vehicles spreading out on the streets - reinforcements, finally. "Air forces next," he said with his fingers crossed.
Rahab swung around and darted towards a collection of shadowy winged monsters, barreling into the crowd and taking out two with his talons and claws

" if the group troops have come, air will be next, I just hope they have whatever you do that keeps from shifting " The male Vaseterm followed behind the Griffin.

The air was just as chaotic with conflict, in some ways to come come across as worst as there was less for the creatures to hide behind, only some skyscrapers and cloud cover from the morning storm

Aaliyah kept her gaze focused on the path ahead of her, she would let Eira know when she was about to jump or was going to make a sharp turn. All while Theo kept making loud noises, to draw attention to them as they went.

When one monster was frozen or taken down, 2 or 3 more seemed to appear in its stead. There were at least 7 on their tails now.

"Lady Eira!" Aaliyah shouts, "Try not to over do anything! We should arrive at one of the Vanguard locations shortly!"

The female Vaseterm followed along with Theo to try and draw the monsters attention, she race down the street weaving around the cars, her eyes watching as dark creatures crawl on the buildings and over vehicles " there just no end to these thing! "

Eira blasted one or two more pursuers before stopping and looking at Aaliyah when she warned her to not overdo it. "You're right. So long as you can keep your pace up, we'll find reinforcements and take them all down together." Though she held her fire, Eira kept a close eye behind them, ready to attack any monster that got to close to the heels of Aaliyah, Theo, or the other Vaseterm.

Aaliyah kept tearing through the streets, just a pace behind Theo, she could easily over take him, but wasn't going to. "Eira, do you see anything or anyone else besides the monsters?" the Mare asked, her breaths coming in puffs.

I believe that's all?

I forgot Boreas and Jason!!

jason was on his on his way to help support Boreas " the bigger they are the harder they fall! " he locked and loaded his crossbow and as he zoomed by he shot a tether at the big ogre, the tether spun opening up for a tripwire as it wrapped around the ogres feet

Boreas once again eyed the creature, taking in what it did. //...Correction, it's /quite/ smart...// He thought, readying himself as the monster came at him with a burning lamp-post. //This will become an owie-way if I'm not careful...// The Captain avoided the monster's swing by leaping into a nearby window.
Then he poked his head back out of one further back, hearing Jason's shout. "I see what you did there!" He called back, smirking

The ogre monster snarls when it hears Jason shouting behind it, and it looks down when it feels the tether shot around its legs. Between Jason and Boreas both shouting at it, it's not quite sure who to focus on, but looks back to Boreas and roars, moving to swing the flaming lamp post at him again--but even the slightest movement from its legs causing the tripwire to tighten, and causes it to stumble.

Dreameater stands patiently as Crimson and Catch finish up and watches as Blue and Qui go to leave. Then he uses his two shackled chains to make a sort of step for his friends to get up on his back--although he has to force his spines to stop grinding and moving as Crimson gets closer. "Are we really ready now? Nothing we've forgotten or missed?" he asks, trying to put on a light tone, "... Hey Crim, how about you get on first? That way Catch can watch your back."

The female Vaseterm followed along with Aaliyah and Eira

The girl gave a nod when Christina said she’d accept her help, soon gazing out across to where the woman gestured to and listening to what she had to say.

Crystal stared at the other side of the street for a moment to analyze it, not sure what the best option would be, but knowing they had to act fast. ‘We either go into a building that might not have a proper exit, or go in a scary looking ally..’ She thought to herself, weighing the options and, in typical Crystal fashion, second guessing everything.

The girl looked back over at Christina and shook her head a bit, “I honestly don’t know what would be a better choice..” she said, “If we don’t know whether or not there’s a way to the roof from the inside, I’m not sure we should waste the time going all the way up only to potentially have to come back down and start again..” Crystal didn’t like the idea of going in the ally, the last one she was in provided a giant flaming rat monster, and she figured any of the monsters roaming in creepy places now would only be a hundred times worse.. She took a second then said, “What do you think we would do..?”

Purity just laughs and giggles as she plays with her imaginary friend, tickling him and being tickled until they're both a little tired of it. Then, she rolls over onto her back on the grass, spreading her fluffy wings out beside her and staring up at the sky. "Ahh! That was fun! ... But I feel like I'm forgetting something..." Purity thinks out loud, then perks her ears up as it dawns on her: "Oh! We were trying to help you learn how to walk!" She then rolls over onto her belly and tries to find a position that feels natural in this form, with her wyvern wings stretched out and her four arms tucked close to her chest. "Ok... how about this?" she speaks her thoughts again, and proceeds to use her wings to pull herself forward, and use her abdomen and tail to balance and push herself along. For Purity, trying to use her long body like a snake is the thing she has to figure out the most--it's very foreign to her.

I've been doing homework today, but it's really nice outside so I have my window open to let the sun and birdsong in x') I get gloomy during the winter, so these recent days of sun have been so refreshing, especially with the end of the semester right around the corner. I will be alive soon!!)

(Hello guys! I’m doing alright. :3 Despite some things that happened last Sunday, I had a decent Easter and then B-day a couple days later. This week overall actually wasn’t too bad now that I’m thinking about it. The weather’s been so nice here too, particularly yesterday and today. ^^)

Qui couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen and at the worst time " I have a bad feeling about this Blue..." she muttered under her breath, it just seem like a domino effect, one thing leading into other but what was to true outcome? Each time she thought this is it, it should calm down something else happened, sure life had been crazy but something about what had happened since the key hunters arrived things were a hundreds times chaotic...

" please don't do anything to make things worse "The brown hair woman asked Eater, Catch and Crimson before she climb on Blue back " we need to hurry to find Ai!" she trusted Blue be careful and knows his limitations but time was against them

Crimson didn't say anything or even look, but the weight now was settled on him that this wasn't going to be like others times before, that he wasn't going to be fighting Malice or even Nightmares, that he wasn't going in alone, that people were out there right now needing help.

The red prince didn't wait and stepped on the makeshift stairs Eater had done to get up, Crimson sat himself down on the Nightmare back, something he never would have done not to long ago.

After wishing Blue and Qui off Dreamcatcher turned back to Crimson and Eater, this was definitely awkward, Crimson was in full armor and was given off creepy vibes as well Eater was a Nightmare who had his Brother trapped inside " ok! Let go save some people!" The Dreamer prince nervously cheered as he sat behind Crimson

Christina keep her eyes on the area in question as Crystal spoke, she agreed to that going inside was a bigger risk, they could end up wasting more time looking for something that wasn't there " I said the alleyway, it will have a have a fire escape leading to the roof, we just need to stay stay on guard "

Josh was helping some civilians not too far form Crystal and Christina, seen who needed help and getting ready for any other attack when his partner called to him, he looked at Crystal, she didn't look like much, more like a girl cosplaying for some fantasy series, he rather go with Christina for backup, he was her partner but these people did to and even with how insane things have gotten, Christina was still Christina to him, she just look a lot differently now " alright Chris I get it, I'll do the hard part but you owe me again! " he pointed at her

Christina smirked at her partner and then turned to Crystal " we shouldn't waste to much, you follow behind me and keep an eye out, these things are smarter then they look " the police officer said reading her pistol again. " you have any questions?"

Aaliyah, Theo and the nameless Mare had successfully brought Eira to one of the Vanguard base camps.

After dropping off Eira the 3 Vaseterm were quickly getting into business, they had to tell the others about the people who were hidden in the store and they themselves needed medical attention.
Eira would find herself in a hectic situation, a mixture of human and shapeshifter were running around, people were being brought and taken to building that they took over for medical help, there was Building that they had for for to stay in for safety, people were wondering looking for loved ones, there was several tents set up within a fenced-in makeshift wall area, Vanguard were posted to protect this base camp.

Overwhelmed by the activity at first, Eira climbed off Aaliyah and stared at the scene before her, looking around to understand what was going on. Once she assessed where the medics, injured, and guards were, she made it her mission to seek out anybody who needed her help. The shiftress followed the crowd's flow into the makeshift medical building, shouldering past a few people on the way in and murmuring a few apologies in response. She found the nearest medic and held out her hands in a gesture to help. "I'm not too educated on medicine, but I can help wherever you need extra hands," she asserted calmly.

( I'm having to rewrite this one a bit more just so that it moves more soother for people to continue and for when Blood hop back in. )

Alex and Fiona had found one of the Vanguard base camps, this is were they dropped off the people they rescued, but because Alex has healing magic she was asked to stay to help with the massive flow of injured people coming in (Alex had eaten her cookie )

Fiona would now find herself at a Vanguard base as well.
(It look like the same as what I put for Eira )

Blue and Qui left to look for Ai.

Nora group is on their way to a base camps with Ai

( I think that everything for the update post, everyone else who I did not rewire action are not effective by this so they are fine as is )

Crystal wasn’t sure what a fire escape was exactly, but if it would definitely get them to the roof, then she figured it was worth the trip into the alleyway, “Okay, then we’ll go with that,” she said.

As Christina turned to talk to Josh, the girl took that moment to double check her gloved hands, trying to prepare herself for whatever might happen next.. ‘We just have to get rid of whatever is up on those buildings..’ she thought, ‘That’s.. We can do that..’

When the woman turned back to her, Crystal looked up, and upon being questioned, she gave her head another shake, “No, I don’t have any questions.. At least none that have to be answered right now,” she replied.

"We'll try not to," is Eater's simple remarks to Qui, and he watches her and Blue for just a moment longer. While he tries his best not to, Dreameater can't help but tense up once Crimson is on his back, but he breathes out a huff and tries his best to focus. "Yeah...! Yeah, let's go!" he likewise cheers, starting to trot off towards the barrier's exit, but he does stop to ask: "... You guys think Blue will be fine out there, though? I mean I know he's got those other Vaseterm with him and all, and Qui, and he said he'd be fine... but he really doesn't look good, and not just from the outside..."

Rahab took a quick survey of the sky to find his next match, when he spotted the two griffins locked in desparate combat with shades. Ruffling his feathers in anger, Rahab dove after them, pumping his dark wings to close in on them as fast as he could. When he was within range, he summoned three more missile arrows which flew out in a burt of blue light and sailed toward the shades. "No bird brains mess with my kin and get away with it!" Rahab snarled as he soared into the scene.
Seeing other griffins in trouble like this set off a vindicitive fire in the Shadow Hunter's eagle eyes. He intersected the nearest shade and ferociously dug his talons into its hide, beating his wings wildly to keep the upper hand over the monster as he tore into it.

Fiona found it a bit hard to watch Alex leave to help with the medical staff of the camp, but she knew it was an incredibly important job to have, and the Phoenix would be a lot more safe amongst a group of people instead of with just her.

...Fiona didn't have healing magic, or know enough about medical treatments to efficiently help... But she knew what she could do--get back out there, rescue more people, and find other members of the group.
//...But... I'd be going out there alone... I need to get out there and help, though!// She was awfully torn again, anxiously pacing in place. In her disguise, she looked like a very tall human amongst the members of the Vanguard rushing to and fro.

...But in the middle of all that, she spotted a familiar-looking person by peering above the crowds... "Wait a minute... EIRA!?" Fiona suddenly rushed towards the Griffin shapeshifter, doing her best to avoid passerby.
...On the other hand, she nearly ran into Eira out of sheer excitement instead.

Jason quickly turned his bike around, he knew games, this wasn't no little guy, he needed the big guns and he came prepared, the shapeshifter took one hand, he had his gear on his bike so he could load up his crossbow with one hand if he needed, he arm his crossbow with an exploding round, ones string was locked back Jason pulled his crossbow from its mount, he drove past the poker again and this time firing his bow, the Arrow Bolt went flying and on impact it pop, no it EXPLODED!

Boreas jumped back into the building when the ogre swung the lamppost at him again... Granted, it was still dangerous, having a flaming metal stick slammed against the wall.
The icy Elemental wanted to distract it until Jason's next move, so rushed up a floor and flew out a window up there. "Almost got me!" He shouted, flying across the alleyway and into another window on the other side.

Then he heard the EXPLOSION outside from Jason's attack.

" good to hear, let's get this job done " Christina nodded, police officer started on her way, making it to the car barricade, she cautiously approached staying alert.

Christina was climbing over a truck when the explosion went off, she blurted something out from getting startled. the cars moved a little but she had a good footing // they came prepared, that some good news// she was feeling a bit more revealed with that but their job wasn't done yet.

The Alleyway was still cross the street and she didn't know what was hidden in the darkness

Eira was focused on her task alongside the medics, bandaging wounds and giving people ice packs, when she jumped at the sound of a familiar voice, immediately followed by a familiar shape nearly crashing into her. "Watch out! Oh, Fiona?" It was a good thing she had seen Fiona change into her disguise beforehand, because it was easy to recognize the Elemental now despite her purple hair and "rad" clothing; though, the cloud girl's loud voice and bright personality would've given away her identity eventually.
Eira released a sigh and gave Fiona a smile. "I'm really glad you're safe. We all split up rather quick, and I haven't found many people since... I'm glad you're here though - maybe we can try to stick together from now on." The shiftress paused, and glanced around. "Is... anyone else with you? Alex, or Terra?"

With that, The flying monsters turned their attention to their new foes, but it be to late for some. The remaining shades split up and were now focusing on Rehab.

The male Vaseterm followed after the Shadow Hunter, he tucked his wings to catch the young Griffin on his back

( just a heads up, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to stay awake, I'll try to get a few more in but I feel the sleep coming even though I had two naps today )

Dreamcatcher was worried to for Blue, he really looked like he just survive something awful but he could only imagine what it must feel like to have a small child who could be out in a Battlefield " I really hope he be ok, I don't think they let him out if he couldn't do it..." he said trying to convince himself Blue would be fine.

Crimson didn't say anything on the matter, but he did have many thoughts on it.

It didn't take long for Rahab to finish off the shade he had targeted. The griffin let the monster drop and he whirled around to face the other foes. He was panting from exertion from all the magic he had spent so far, but he was hardly paying attention while his mind was set on protecting the griffins.
Rahab quickly clasped his eagle talons together, summoning magic that rippled up his wings all the way to his feather tips. With a mix between a lion roar and eagle shriek, he gave his wings a heavy pump and swept a wave of bitter cold wind over his opponents. Any shades who failed to dodge or who were too weak would risk their wings and joints being frozen up by frost.

"Alex was with me--she's helping out with healing people now." Fiona explained, a little smile on her face thanks to discovering that Eira was okay, "But YOU'RE SAFE, TOO! I think we should definitely stick together--this is a new level of crazy."

A male Vaseterm medic passed by, noticing Eira helping, and Fiona not, "Hey, we need all the hands we can get. Grab some bandages if you're able!"

...With all the tension around them and rampant thoughts in her mind, Fiona hadn't really thought she was qualified to help, but with orders like that, she immediately grabbed up a roll of bandages and started helping Eira with bandaging.

"I haven't seen anyone else other than you, Alex, and Rahab... Do you know where he is?"

(Yeah I'm starting to get sleepy too even though I wanna keep going, I think my brain has shut off RP mode for the night X"D I keep spacing out trying to work on something for Terra)

Following after Christina, Crystal flinched and sucked in a gasp as the explosion sounded off, her eyes immediately snapping over to where it came from. She faltered and paused, but then glanced back over to the other side of the street and made her way passed the cars.

Thinking on it, she wondered if she could use that magic Jason had told her about to make something to light up the alley a bit more.. Though she decided to wait for now, feeling it would be better to judge the situation first once they got closer.

(I cant use spacing out as a measurement for how tired I am, I space out even when well rested. XD)

Eira smiled and gave a nod, then the smile dropped and she gave a less-happy nod. "Yeah... Taking on so many monsters alone is no longer possible. If you head back out there, make sure I'm with you, okay?"

The Vaseterm medic's order made Eira focus back on the task before her, and she scooted to the side a bit to make sure Fiona had room to help. The shiftress knew enough about bandaging that she was able to give Fiona a bit of guidance and explanation on what to do.

She gave an unsure shrug. "Last I saw him, he was intent on managing the situation in the sky. I trust him, so I know he's got it, but I just hope he can get enough people to back him up. He tends to be a little... headstrong, rushing into things with his ruffled feathers leading him." She gave a slight eye roll, vaguely amused by what she had seen him do in the past. "Regardless, if he has backup, he'll be fine."

She went quiet for a moment, then thought to ask, "After this place is calmed down, you think we should go out and find others who might need backup? I don't want anybody on their own out there."

( yup I'm dieting, I been singing my post for a while now, I think it be best to call its a nigh )
