Fiona stood up as Alex recovered enough to speak and moved to a more comfortable position. "That could be a good plan! We'll just have to make sure that'll work on what we run into." The Elemental moved to show Alex her torn arm. "This is the worst of it... They got some hits on my back too--but my armor's still here, even with this disguise. I'll be alright either way, so you don't have to use up a bunch of your magic on me!"

She had been feeling extra tired, but found that ever since they exited the spell, she was slowly starting to regain her energy... It was too fast to be from her just standing there, though. //...That's not from the spell, is it? I thought the warmaiden's tiara Osiris gave me was supposed to help with that...?//

Alex huffed and got up enough, to sit on her birb feet, she leaned her head forward and touched her beak very gently to Fiona's arm. It took a few moments for anything to happen, but eventually her magic came forward and she began to heal the Elemental.

"Don't feel you have to hide any injury from me, we don't need heroics or foolish bravery, we need to be as close to a 100% as we can be" Alex's silver eyes met Fiona's, "We're in this together, Fiona, I've got your back"

Bubbles pulls is head back and opens his mouth in shock as not only can you move legs but wiggles the rocks that seem to be stuck to them to! He looks down at his own feet and wiggles his toes and actually pay attention to doing it "Rockssss Wigglessss?!" He then holds his paws up to show Purity that this rocks move to! So he wiggles his toes to show her

"Not rocks! Those are claws!" Purity happily informs Bubbles as she tries to move over to him, using her wyvern wings as forelegs, and pushing herself forward with her long snake body (and a rather wide waddle). She then carefully takes one of Bubbles' paws and holds it out so she can show him, pointing to his claws with another of her paws, "These hard parts are your claws! And these..." she starts to explain, but stops, suddenly being possessed of an almost childlike curiosity as well. //... Are they toes, or are they fingers? I'm really starting to think these are more arms than legs, but we could probably use them for both... Maybe? So then what would they be...? Hmmmmm...// "I think... These are fingers," she finally declares, a very thoughtful look on her face as she pokes the softer part of Bubbles' paw.

The heads of the Chimera nodded, she then shifted to her human form, though she wasn't in her normal attire that she wore in the Infirmary, she was in a Battle Maiden armor " see Ai it just me " she holds her arms out to the side and even does a small spin to show off her human form and then kneel down " will you come out now Ai?"

Ai felt immediate relief when she recognized Nora, the filly scrambled out from under the vehicle and ran into Nora, even knocking her head and horns against Nora's armor didn't seem to phase her at all. She pressed as much of herself to Nora as she could, "I want shift too, I don't like hooves"

With the leader of the Vaseterm here informing him about the situation and trying to give him advice, Terradream bows his head to her and tries to calm down, but also tries to hide his own disappointment from her. //... I know that already, I shouldn't be needing to hear it again, yet I am... Ugh...// "Y-yes, ma'am, I-I... You'll--" Terra stutters, then stops himself and tries again. "... I'll see who e-else needs help. Thank you for the assistance and for taking care of this. I know they're in good hands..."

Sparky lands on Terra's beak when his partner lifts his head up again. "Now, don't look so down! You /did/ save them, Terra, you did the best that you could and kept them alive just long enough for them all to survive. Does it really matter if you couldn't do it all yourself?"

//I don't like such close calls, Sparky, I thought for sure they weren't going to make it,// Terra inwardly sighs to his Fairfin, although thinking about Sparky's words more does help his attitude some.

It's shortly after that that he hears the CRUNCH from the gremlin's handiwork, and he quickly looks up, feeling on edge again. He quickly spots something moving... "Up there! On the second f-floor, there's more!?" he shouts and points.

Aaliyah kept her gaze focused on the path ahead of her, she would let Eira know when she was about to jump or was going to make a sharp turn. All while Theo kept making loud noises, to draw attention to them as they went.

When one monster was frozen or taken down, 2 or 3 more seemed to appear in its stead. There were at least 7 on their tails now.

"Lady Eira!" Aaliyah shouts, "Try not to over do anything! We should arrive at one of the Vanguard locations shortly!"

The female Vaseterm followed along with Theo to try and draw the monsters attention, she race down the street weaving around the cars, her eyes watching as dark creatures crawl on the buildings and over vehicles " there just no end to these thing! "

Eira blasted one or two more pursuers before stopping and looking at Aaliyah when she warned her to not overdo it. "You're right. So long as you can keep your pace up, we'll find reinforcements and take them all down together." Though she held her fire, Eira kept a close eye behind them, ready to attack any monster that got to close to the heels of Aaliyah, Theo, or the other Vaseterm.

Rahab dipped his head in confirmation of what the male Vaseterm informed him. "They'd better move quick. Things will get worse before they get better," he muttered ominously with another glance to the dark clouds. The griffin gazed to the city below, eagle eyes investigating the situation below. He could see Vaseterm reinforcements and vehicles spreading out on the streets - reinforcements, finally. "Air forces next," he said with his fingers crossed.
Rahab swung around and darted towards a collection of shadowy winged monsters, barreling into the crowd and taking out two with his talons and claws

The male Vaseterm followed after Rahab, he wasn't as fast or agile in the sky as the Griffin, he charged at the dark creatures and ram one with his horns

Blue looked down at Qui, "Let's start with base 5, we can't afford anymore casualties" he picked up the pace to the door now, his long legs easily covering ground as he went, still holding his short mate with one arm as he went, practically dragging her with him.

"Qui get on my back and we'll fly there, the rest of you, drive!" Blue orders, "There should be a vehicle or two left for you to bring, keep an eye on the road too, make sure you don't cross the area while in the vehicle, none of us are protected against that spell right now!"

Dreamcatcher didn't speed up when the Nightmare out pace him he just shook his head and let out a chuckle.
Crimson watch but didn't say anything, he did wonder who was actually faster of the two, even he could tell Catch wasn't running with his all and that made him curious in just how fast he was, though right now it wasn't important but it was note worthy...

Ones outside Catch places a hand to his chinn as he watch his friend Pace back and forth, he to was thinking but when Eater seem to be coming up with a plan, he turned to look at the red prince to " Crimson! WHAT IN THE MOONS?! STOP THAT!" he rushed over and grabbed his arm without hesitation.

Crimson had stolen a knife from the Infirmary and had already cut his hand with it and had started carving ruins in his arm when the Dreamer stop him " WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!" he snapped back.

" moons he nuts! " Anna gasped

Catch knew Crimson had corruption but he didn't know the red prince knew blood magic " Crimson! Are you trying to do blood magic? That Sirius Wicked stuff, you shouldn't be messing with that! "

Crimson gives the Dreamer prince a look like who should he be telling him what to do " so tell me? were going up against both Malice and Void, two of Soledormirs most powerful Pawns and you expect me not to go out into battle as fully prepared as possible? What kind of fool do you take me as?" He challenged timing his head to the side, eye the Dreamer prince as if he was size him up.

Dreameater quickly drops his smirk and the fun attitude he has when he and Catch both see what Crimson is doing. He quickly walks over, frowning and crossing his arms, and stands in front of Crimson as the red prince challenges the Moonblood prince again. "A fool who's going to cause more trouble than good if you keep this up, that's what," the Nightmare coldly snaps, then more seriously continues, "Look, I don't know how or if blood magic affects your head, but I feel this is just /asking/ for your corruption to mess with you more, and I'm trusting you enough to even bring you out here with the hopes that you'll keep your head clear so you can watch me. Do you think I want to see you losing yourself out there, too?" But, he does pause for a brief moment to breathe. "What kind of freaking blood magic thing are you even wanting to do, anyway? What would this do?"

Crimson finally looked away from Dreamcatcher as Eater was halfway through with his scolding, it was making him think, sure he knew blood magic was dangerous and some would considerate evil, maybe a lot would but it never messed with his head, did it?

Catch was still holding the arm that held his knife, but his bleeding hand was free, he opened his Palm and look at the wound that he inflicted upon himself, his blood was as dark as a humans, it has been this way for a long time now and though others wouldn't know it should be brighter red... " it unlockeds my true potential... I can do just about anything I want with it...." the red prince finally Mumbles and then gave a frustrated breath but he couldn't look ether one in the eye as he said " look, I know what I'm doing ok, I know my limits and I never use any of the /really/ bad spells, I only use what I need and use my own blood..." he got quite after saying that last part, it wasn't just his blood he used but dark creatures, Fairfins and in his darkness days he had gotten to the point of using other people... but in his mind he didn't really do anything to bad, he never sacrificed /people/ only monsters and animals, and it not like he drank anyone's blood or ate any parts of them, he didn't even do that dark creatures, he just maybe had stoked in their blood but that was fine right? They not like people and well he hadn't used that kind of blood magic in a long time, not since he lived in the dark worlds hunting Nightmares...but no one needed to know this...

Dreamcatcher didn't let go yet, even after feeding the mixture of emotions the red prince had on this topic, he felt Crimson guilt and shame but there was longing to, almost like a hunger // he himself know this is wrong and yet he trying to make excuses to keep doing it... it already sounds like this stuff mess with a person head, it probably why only dark creatures use it..// the Dreamer prince sighed " Crimson, is using blood magic really the answer? You can't convince me that it is because you yourself know it wrong, otherwise you wouldn't be feeling ashamed on using it"

With that Crimson pulled his arm away from the Dreamer, and held it close to his chest, the red prince stared at Catch with a wide eye, full of fear like the Dreamer could see right into his soul and know everything about him, even the things he try to hide and lock away.

Catch just gave a small sympathetic smile as he continued " im sure you're a skilled fighter without it and well you have a team now, each of us have are strengths and weaknesses but it's though those we complete each other " he then holds out his hand with the palm up " will you trust us enough to make up the difference so you don't have to use it? Can you at least give us this opportunity?"

Crimson didn't say anything at first, his mind was going with a thousand thoughts, some were trying to figure the odds out for success in both using and not using his blood magic, in using it he seen a greater success and he wouldn't need help from others, he knew using blood magic always had a price, that was part of the deal but what would it really cost him? What would Crystal think? He stop and thought of the human girl and the feeling of shame grew more, how could he even consider doing this? He wanted to do better and here he was falling back into old habits " I...I never.... I don't know how..." he try to form the words to even admit that he was wrong and needed help, that he was sacred of failure and struggles to trust others, even now, he did know a lot about Catch and there was a part of him who didn't like him for some reason but now he was more afraid of the Dreamer and then there was Eater, he was a entertaining pet but he was still a Nightmare and yet he found himself glace over to Eater for some kind of guidance like if he was an actual person...

Crimson eye drifted down to the knife in his hand "... I... I just don't know if I'll be powerful enough... I have been planning for years to face Malice, I know just about everything about him, I even know this spell... there are 3 specific spells that are Malice most powerful ones, one is called ' Hells fire', it what he does to complete decimate an entire area leaving nothing but ash and darkness, that is his offensive spell and it his most used out of the 3 and I'm sure even you have heard stories of the aftermath." He wasn't worried about this attack at least if he was in his armor but he did stop with new concern for everyone else safety, Malice only used this attack in his Tormented form or in his armor with his wings.

" then there the 2nd which we are seen now, it's called ' Spite treason'.... out of the 3 this is the one that can effect my abilities...I think... I never had to fight in it before but out of his spell this is the one not only is an attack but it works as a counterspell, with what the researchers I done, Malice is the only Nightmare who can do this spell and is one of the only creatures that can do that kind of spell on this level...not many people understand that there different kinds of magic, what effects one species might not effects other the same way, so for a spell to be able to effect not just a hundreds of species but thousands... I know Crystalgem dragons don't far well in environments with little magic and then you put a spell like this on top of that? It will likely kill someone like me who lives off magic.. " he went quite for a moment thinking on that, it seem awfully coincidental that this was happening right after the Nightmare lost, was this a trap or some kind of scheme of Malice's Revenge? Was just some of the red prince suspicion but he wouldn't let the Nightmare king have the best of him, no, he had some backup plans if this spell were used and he had the advantage in having to prepare, though /not/ Using blood magic could make things more difficult but maybe he could try taking it as a challenge? Make it more interesting...he then added " I'm sure my armor will protect me but it runs off of magic.... it this spell and his tormented form are not Ideal to go up against, but I can manage " he looked at his bloody hand and Frowned, the thought still dance in his mind, it would be easier "... but that isn't my biggest concern, Malice I'm prepared for, but it's Void... I haven't studied him to know what to expect...and I know there was a vision were Void kills me..." he glace over to the moon blood prince, though he was blind for that vision, he could heard and he listened.

Dreameater stands there and listens as Catch and Crimson go back and forth with each other. //Unlocks your true potential... You can do anything you like with blood magic, huh? Yeah, that sounds like something an evil thing would say, not someone in their right mind...// he grimaces, then continues listening. When the red prince admits he isn't sure if he'll be strong enough, and then starts explaining about two of Malice's three big bad spells, Eater sighs, and does make a mental note about how he didn't mention the last one. "Look Crim," Eater finally starts, "I know you're wanting to prep for Malice, but I don't think we're even going to go up against him. When Terra came by, he didn't say anything about Malice actively attacking anyone, he just did this spell which sent Void's minions berserk... And when it comes to Void, that's why you're not going out there alone. We're going to be watching your back out there, so he's not going to kill you. And if you really want something better to use..."
He stops and holds out his right hand, summoning his black blade, but he hesitates. He knows what kind of risk he'd be taking if he handed his sword off to Crimson... It'd tempt Eater to be more brutal during combat, to give into the frenzy...

Glory can sense this too in his hesitation, and weakly tries to pull on his collar to get his attention. "... Weaver...? Are you sure...? I don't want you to... lose yourself again, I-I don't think I can do much to help you if you do..."

The Nightmare turns his eyes towards his Forgotten, then looks back to his sword, holding the blade with both hands now and tipping it up slightly to see his true reflection. Perhaps even Eater feels how dire this is, and is too grim to get worked up over a name... Without saying another word to Glory, and having a very serious tone in both his expression and voice, he offers Loyalty to the red prince. "... Use this instead of your blood magic. You might say that you can do anything you want with that magic, and it unlocks your potential or whatever else you tell yourself, but I'm not buying it. Corruption and evil always does stuff like that, it goes to your head and either gives you all the power in the world, making you an idiot or a psycho, or you end up like me, being stuck in a bug with your mug," he says, then quietly inhales. "... I hope you realize what I'm doing, Crimson, by giving you Loyalty. I'd rather have you keep a hold of yourself than me... So don't go and make a fool out of me, alright?"

" what?! That can't be right!" The red prince said with disbelief " he Malice! He wouldn't just cast a spell like this if it wasn't for an attack or some kind of alternative motive! " his voice carring the emotions of his past pain and bitterness, Malice the king of Nightmares, the murder, butcher of the innocent, a liar and betrayer, his very bean is the embodiment of evil intentions. He wouldn't just waste one of these spells, monsters were attacking wasn't that proof enough? Malice was evil...that is what Crimson knew but even with that, his promise to Crystal remained him of the Nightmare he could have killed Malice, something changed in Malice and something in his heart told him to trust that this was true but he was fighting against wanting to believe it and be whispered" ...You don't know him like I do... he can't change...." the red prince didn't want him to, he wanted Malice as the bad guy, he wanted some form of vengeance...

When Dreameater summon his sword and offer it, Crimsons looked at the Nightmare puzzled by his actions and he listened and watched the Nightmare and his Forgotten//... something not right...this isn't right// and for the first time the red prince took notice on Eaters eyes and though it could be easily missed, there was something different about them, evil was still in them but there was more...

Crimson went to take a set back from Dreameater, what he was seeing and what others had been saying he didn't want to believe, the truth was, it sacred him... what if he was wrong? What if the Dreamer could come back? // t-hey can't, there dead. The light eater consumes their heart and soul and there no coming back, there just a living curse in a corpse, there not even a real living thing...// he didn't want to be here, he didn't want to stare at Nightmare eyes and see the truth of his soul, the red prince want to run but that wasn't going to happen.
Dreamcatcher stopped Crimson by gently placing his hand on the young prince shoulder " it be ok Crimson, like Weaver said well both have your back, you don't need to do this alone "

ALL DREAMERS ARE DEAD!!// Crimson mind screamed at him, it what he believed for so long //Nightmare can't turn back, you can't bring back the dead....there has to be some other reason, yeah, it's a trick! It has to be or maybe it because of how messed up he is, that has to be it! Without sleeping and seal the moon blood did, put with the other variables Eater just a new branch in system, one that focuses on mimicking humanity! It has to be something like that! // he was trying desperately to find any excuse to believe but the truth.

Crimson started at the black blade but why should a Nightmare care so much? They can't care about others " .... I don't understand you... you say you don't want to go on a Frenzy when you're nothing but a monster, you shouldn't care for the well-being of others... the only thing I can figure is that you don't want me to kill you, I doubt anyone else in the group would stop you, so you could have took this as an opportunity, go out and kill well I was locked up and you could have run, but you didn't... your bring me along to keep you under control, so tell me just what the heck is this game you're playing? I know more about Nightmares then anyone alive so why can't I figure you out?"
Dreamcatcher looked at Crimson with a mixture of confusion and pity, he couldn't understand the vast difference in emotions of the red prince, her Catch was ecstatic and hopeful in the truth that Weaver is alive but Crimson emotions was fear, confusion, frustration, doubts, suspicion and anger, why was the red prince so work up about Weaver being alive? Why was he trying to do everything in this power not to expect this when the evidence is right here? " because he more then just a Nightmare Crimson, that what we been trying to tell you, Weaver alive " Catch words were soft and gentle in hopes that Crimson would listen to calm and heart fill words.

Fiona gave Alex a confused frown at first. She hadn't thought she'd been trying to have foolish bravery or heroics... However, her frown turned to a slight smile at the Phoenix's statements of companionship. "Oh no, I just meant that you don't have to use a /ton/ of your magic... We gotta save up on our energy too, so we can help more people!"
The Elemental looked down at her arm, watching the wound close up thanks to Alex's magic. Then she looked to the Phoenix's silver eyes. "Thanks a bunch for healing me and being a great teammate. I've got your back too!"

How long do you have left before break?
I'm doing much better then yesterday, yesterday was full of all kinds of emotions, both good and bad but today been fairly good, I got to go to the store and got myself my very own fishing pole xD
I been using my brother or dad's all these years and now I got my own ^-^ )

Jason only waited until Crystal got off, he gave a nodded and then took off on his bike.

The monsters slow down for only for a moment, the ice on its foot stop the creature but only long enough for it to take its frozen fist and smash the ice on his foot, with it foot free the monsters made a charge for Boreas taking its fist that was still covered in ice and was going to use it as a hammer.

Up above looks down from the Rooftops were wings monsters, they were staying out of the way of the bigger monster but now that he wasn't forced on the people these monsters were getting bolder...

A brown hair police officer was coordinating the defense, Josh with his partner Christina had managed to gather people to this location and had defend it so far.

" look alive people! Were not out of this yet! Keep an eye on those Rooftops!" Josh ordered pointing up.The flying monsters then started to swoop down at the people, shots ring out.

Before Crystal was a wall of cars, it was more of a bunch of cars that got in a traffic jam and were left there.

On the other side was the building that the people were on. It was a two story high kinda look like a Warehouse shape but it had a friendly look beside the damaged done to it, though Crystal or Boreas would not be able to read the words unless they had their special glasses on but the big bold letters said ' Pet Stop '

(Thank you <3 Unfortunately, we haven't gotten any break for the past year. Because Covid restrictions don't let people fly home and back in a week, our schoo ldecided to not have any breaks at all. So that adds to how suffocating it all feels -n-

She looked around the area a bit more widely, the monsters on top of the building quickly catching her attention. Worried and scared, Crystal watched them for a moment, knowing they would be a problem..

When she heard a loud voice, she looked over in the direction of the officer man who spoke, watching him for a second too. She glanced back towards the monsters when the man gestured up to them, deciding that maybe it would be best to go talk to him since he seemed to have authority here.

With that, Crystal quickly made her way over to the officer. “Excuse me.. Sir.. I’m here to help,” she said, trying not to sound as nervous as she was, and also trying to speak loud enough to be heard over the chaos around them.

Doughnuts do sound so good right now~ The closest I’ve been to a doughnut in years is the one I 3D modeled last month. XD)

Boreas studied the ogre's behavior as it dealt with the ice holding it back, and rushed towards him, utilizing its frozen arm. //Hmm... Big and somewhat clever... At least with ice...// He noted, scanning his surroundings briefly. The Captain kept his distance and swiftly flew low to the ground around the ogre, sending a few shards of ice rocketing up towards its face to keep its attention. "If you go /poking/ around like that, you won't catch me!"

He aimed to lure it to a thin alleyway nearby... Make it look like he might use it for cover and get backed into a dead end. By doing this, he hoped the ogre would try attacking him and get his icy fist stuck between the buildings.

The bow master eyes quickly shifted over to her team mates almost at the same time Terradream called out "  Amarillys! Asteria!"

The shield knight and her partner knew what to do and got into Position under the quickly falling debris, Amarillys held up her shield and chanted casting her spell, a shimmery light blue barrier with intricate patterns appeared, the debris hit making the barrier cracked but it would do its job in buying the time the other Warriors needed.

Asteria was next, the war Maiden with her spear chanted her spell as she hurled her weapon at the trunk of concrete, when it hit the spear erupted into a burst of vines like a net.

Anastasia the bow master had took aim and fire her shots as he cast her spell, several arrows split from one and those turned into ice like birds that stuck and went though flowers on the ends of the vines and grabbed them as they continued to fly to their different locations on the surrounding architecture, ones they hit they Frozen place and soon the 3 kinds of magic fused into one combo, forming a intricate Frozen net up above, it Shimmer with a light blue glowing along the icy vines and flowers.

The 6 Vanguard worked so smoothly together as if this was something they had rehearse and practice many times, they stood refined and confident.

But they were not done, the two gremlin monsters were still up there and would make a quick getaway In knowing their plan failed, Anastasia quickly crouched on the back of her partner and then she fact bucked launching the bow master into the air, as she flip she took one of her arrows and cut the ban to her own hair...

Amarillys followed up with one of her spell, The arrow froze strands of Anastasia hair that were cut, they flow in with the momentum but with Amarillys spell they slowed and did something more...

To those who didn't know what to look for it would have appeared that Anastasia was now running and jumping on air, but really it was her Frozen hair that Amarillys barrier gave just enough time for the bow master to move form one to the other before each strand thawed and couldn't hold in place.

Moving swiftly Anastasia quickly reach the Heights she needed to spot her foes, as she was expecting they were making a getaway, it was with her last step she made the jump and fired her bow in mid flip, her two shots zoom though the air, one hitting the monster and stopping it, the other monster was heading for cover but it would not protect him... the Arrow slip through a crack that would have been impossible for most and hit its target and Frozen him.

Anastasia was now falling but she wasn't panicking at all, that because she had her teammates and trusted them.

Asteria summon other spear and chanted as she tossed it up, Anastasia took her bow and fired it the spear and when the arrow and spear collided it bust into a Ice Flower that Amarillys place yet other barrier spell so Anastasia had enough time to land and do a roll jump in which she landed back on her partner Ariel back, The job was now done.

( ^^ thus post was a lot of fun doing x'D )

Dreameater just rolls his eyes and shoves the sword towards Crimson. "Hey can you just take the freaking sword and not use your evil blood magic? This probably sounds as stupid to you as it did to me, but we don't really have time to go over all this right now," he says, narrowing his eyes ever so slightly now and feeling a little irritated by everything being talked about, "And I'm gonna ask you again since you probably didn't hear me, but how're you when it comes to riding Nightmares? 'Cause I don't know how to drive the vehicles here, Catch's arm is injured, and I don't think you need to shapeshift right now."

(That looks like it was a lot of fun to write, it was certainly a lot of fun to read! XD )

Josh was doing his best to keep everyone organized in their defense, most were just civilians but in a time like this that didn't matter, they all were trying to survive.
The officer stop for a moment to look to who was addressing him " u-mm, do you speak English? Maybe Espanol? " he asked not understanding Crystal words, to him she was speaking gibberish even though she could understand him, but that because she was linked with Glory still.

A pink and blue female humanoid dress like the officer came over, she patt her hand to her partner " Josh, I got this "

" ooh, she of you isn't she?" He asked now getting a better look at the girl, she look human but wasn't dressed in modern clothes, she looked really to go to some Comic-Con or fantasy Faire, and they people she came with didn't seem that human ether, or at least the ice one, the guy on the bike seem normal but probably wasn't " well if she here to-- WHAT A SECOND! You can understand her?!" He pointed hid free hand at his partner

Christina just Shrugged " I can understand her but I'm not sure yet if she can understand use, she speaking a common language that uses between words, I just have to speak it to " she explains to her partner and then look to Crystal and started in the Universal language( which is what everyone been using)" are you with the Silver Spears? You part of there Rescue Squad?"

The ogre monster slams its frozen fist into the ground, missing Boreas as the Captain sped by, and it snarls when he shoots shards of ice into its face. It wipes its face with its free hand, turns to follow Boreas, but stops briefly... It can tell the alleyway is much too small for it, and figures this must be a trap, so instead of trying to pursue Boreas immediately, the brutish monster quickly turns again and tears a nearby light post out of its spot in the street. It then swings it towards the front of the nearest vehicle, causing the engine to explode and in turn light the top of the street lamp on fire, and then the monster turns back to jab its new flaming weapon into the alleyway where it saw Boreas go.

Crimson started at Eater for a moment, nothing made sense and what did, he didn't want to believe, he looked down at the sword " Loyalty... It's too dark to be a Dreamer weapon, but not cruel enough to be a Nightmare weapon..." // just want are you? //

" Crim, Weaver right, we can't afford to waste anymore time, people need us " Catch followed up with his brother and held his hand out again, he did take note on what Crimson said but he knew the answer, Weaver was alive.

Crimson mind got back on track, they were right, they needed to get out there and he was wasted time, the red prince handed over the knife to the Dreamer prince and then with his opponents hand, his left hand he took loyalty " no, I'm not that stupid to shift right now...." he Mumble, knowing he loses himself in his dragon form, he already had been struggling. " its fine, whatever gets us out there the fastest " he replied, he still had a lot on his mind but was trying to focus on what needed to be done.

" I'll get ready now, it be best if you two don't get to close and seen I can't use my blood magic I wouldn't be able to hold back my presents..."Now that had been settled there was one thing left for the red prince, he started to walk away from the two " I, Crimson Ta-Valance Sapphire, Last King of Rubyturehx take order of the land beneath me! come to my command and cover me in armor that will guard your king from the enemies of the land! Grant your king the power of the Earth! So, I, as King may defend the land and those who live in it from the enemies who seek to destroy them! " Crimson commanded and turned to the Dreamer and Nightmare, the ground glow under the red prince then Crystal formed into the glowing tracks, the blue crystal begin to climb up Crimson, then glowing gold before they form they're finishing piece, the red armor of the last king of Rubyturehx.

Catch stood there with wide eyes as the red prince became a king // that must be his full name? What wait?! He a king?! // he thought it was both cool to watch but also frightening, something was resonating off of Crimson, some unseen Force that sent a chill down Catch spine, but the true one who was afraid was Cataclysm.

Crimson turned Loyalty in his left hand, getting a feel for the weapon " you guys ready ?" He asked the armor made the kings voice distorted, it was Crimson voice but deeper

Alex leaned back when she was done, "Ready to go? We should probably head back as soon as we can"

"I picked nurses who have combat experience" Blue said to Qui, glancing at his mate, then the nurses, "They'll be fine" he then heads out the door, the nurses headed off to the vehicles.

Bubbles gasped pulling his head back in shock and awe with this new discovery " FINGERS?! " The little wyvern wiggles his fingers to show Purity his new discovery, he so enthusiastic about the discovery that he end up wiggling his whole arms

Nora hug the little filly " I know Ai, this spell really sucks " the Nurse coos rubbing her to try to calm her

" we should get her one of the bases to be evacuated" the Mare said

When the man looked at her and showed obvious signs of not being able to understand, Crystal’s expression turned almost a helpless kind of confused, not having expected this. “What..?” was all she muttered, looking at Josh. ‘There must be something I’m not understanding... I hear him just fine..’ she thought to herself while watching the colorful lady walk up. To her they all sounded the same, and she was sure she didn’t use her other language, she was really good about not doing that.

She glanced between the two in silence, listening to them and trying to figure out what to do now.. At least that was until Christina mentioned she could in fact understand her, then she had to hold back a sigh of relief.

When the lady looked her way and spoke to her, Crystal nodded, “I’m sorry, I can understand you both, though I didn’t realize I was speaking in something different,” she said, giving a small apologetic smile before continuing, “But basically yes, you could say that I’m with them.”

Fiona nodded, "Yeah, we need to get back in there!" Though, she paused briefly, looking to the people they'd rescued. They were all still just standing there... They weren't badly injured, just confused and wondering what to do.
...Fiona had no clue what exactly to do, either. She didn't know what was where, or... If she followed Rahab's instructions...
Well, she didn't know where the palace was from here either, since they were on the ground.

So, the Elemental started up her charades, first motioning with her arms out wide to encompass the entire group of people, then making walking motions with her fingers in a particular direction away from the chaos, then pointing very enthusiastically in that same direction... And lastly, a thumbs up: "Go that way for good things."

...Most of them seemed to understand. Fiona added a little wave as they left, too.
Then she glanced back to Alex, "...Are you feeling okay, though? Did you get healed up?"

Qui watch as the Nurses left, she said a quiet prayer, for everyone.
She followed Blue outside, from there she could see Eater and Catch but her eyes went over to Crimson, Goosebumps rise on her arms " B-lue, isn't that Crimson? " she asked nervously, she really had a bad feeling about this but maybe it was just the power of his armor she was feeling

Terradream watches the Vaseterm team get to work, and he quickly becomes rather awed at their display. //They work so smoothly as a team, it's incredible,// he thinks, getting momentarily distracted by a tingling feeling in his claws, but he goes back to watching them afterwards. //... What is that one running on? Do you see anything, Sparky?//

//Nope, it looks like she's running on the air! Why'd she let her hair down though?// Sparky asks in return, tipping his head towards his partner.

//I don't know, you'd think for a warrior, having such long hair would complicate things... Unless she's somehow doing something with her hair, and that's allowing her to achieve this?// the ghostly Dreamer ponders.

But... now as the Vaseterm team is finished, Terra finds himself in an awkward spot again. //I--I should get going, I need to get going... but... I feel like I should say something...? I don't know what to say though, uh, but I shouldn't just run off without saying anything, that wouldn't look good for me, would it...?! Uuhhmm...//
"Y-you... You definitely h-have the situation under control..." Terra nervously starts to say, looking a little more transparent as he tries to hold himself more upright and proper, "Th-thanks again, take good care of them, I-I'll actually get going now..." Afterwards, he gets ready to take off and fly.

"He really means it when he says thank you! I know he's a nervous wreck, but he's just not good with people! I'll try to work with him more! Thank you all, and seeee yaaaaaaa!~" Sparky cheers, waving to the Vaseterm before following his partner.

Boreas once again eyed the creature, taking in what it did. //...Correction, it's /quite/ smart...// He thought, readying himself as the monster came at him with a burning lamp-post. //This will become an owie-way if I'm not careful...// The Captain avoided the monster's swing by leaping into a nearby window.
Then he poked his head back out of one further back, hearing Jason's shout. "I see what you did there!" He called back, smirking.

As soon as Crimson hands over the knife and takes Loyalty, Dreameater steps back and gives a double thumbs-up to the prince. "Alrighty alrighty, you get ready then," he simply replies before shapeshifting to his true form, with Glory now sitting on his shoulder. However, he quickly stands still and goes quiet when Crimson starts speaking his spell... With this, any cheerful attitude he had previously attempted to put on is gone, and now Eater backs away from Crimson slowly, his eyes wide with fear and his spine nubs grinding together. He doesn't say anything when Crimson asks if they're ready, and stares...

Christina wave a dismissive hand " it's not your fault, this world has its own language out of the Inner Circle of the realms, it really no surprise that Josh can't understand you, but that does make me wonder how you could understand us " she put a hand on her hips and the fins on her head wiggle as she try to sense any magic from the girl, she could indeed pick up different kinds but with the spell of Malice's blocking her own magic she only had natural senses to rely on which cut her senses in half of what they would be, this would be something she have to look into later.
Christina let out a sigh of relief " that good, I was starting to wonder if the Vaseterm were going to get involved " but with that she knew things were bad, really bad, if it wasn't obvious already
Josh push his lips as the two girls talk in some language he didn't understand " first I find out my partner a human axolotl, that she isn't the only fantasy bean out there and now she speaks mumbo jumbo with medieval girls " he rubbed the back of his head with his free hand, he was wondering if Crystal to really looked different.

" Chris! Up top!" Josh set in front of Crystal, A flying monster swooped down to attack but before it could both Josh and Christina fired on it, killing the monster before it could get to anyone " these things just don't stop coming! " he said out of frustration.

Blue looked equally as surprised, "Crimson!?" he didn't hesitate to head over to the red prince, "What are you doing out?"

"I'll be fine" Alex sounded amused after watching the Elemental's charades, "Come on, should we try our plan? I fly and you slice?" she lowered herself, her wings spread out and hovering just a little bit over the ground.

Crimson turned to who addressed him "huh?" He looked at Blue and tipped his head, looking the burning Sun leader over and his condition" I should ask you the same thing... so tell me who was the guy you lost to?"

Dreamcatcher put the knife in his pocket dimension, he then walked putting his hands up, he really, really didn't want to go though the hops with Crimson again " Crimson I'll take care of this, Victoria said we bring him, we need him to help keep Eater under control on the Battlefield" he stated and then look to Blue, he keep himself from grimaced, " Blue but what happened to you? Have you already been out there?" He asked worried

"Alright, if you say so." Fiona nodded with a slight smile. She was still worried--she hadn't seen Alex heal herself--but she trusted her friend, and would do her best to keep her from getting hurt worse either way.
"Yeah, let's do it!" As she floated up to hop on the Phoenix, she remembered something rather important,
"...Oh! Do you still have your magic-protection-cookie-thing? We're probably gonna need your magic in there..."

"I still got it!" Alex nods, "I'll eat it when I need it, I'm sure it has a time limit, so I can save it for when things get dire. I hope they don't, but our luck, they will" she rose now, "Hold on, I'm gonna take off!"

The phoenix waited a few moments and then began to run, slowly beating her wings and gently taking off into the sky.

Dreameater continues staring at Crimson... at least for a moment more. //... Maybe... Maybe I shouldn't have brought him... He's scary...// is one thought that goes through his head, //But... That's kind of the point... the whole reason I wanted him out here in the first place... Is for him to scare me...//
He slowly starts to swivel his ears around as he senses Blue and Qui approaching, and then even more slowly turns his head to face them, reluctantly taking his eyes off of the red king. He doesn't say anything yet, however.

Anastasia and Ariel turned to Terradream, the bow master nodded her head along with her other team mates, she signaled and Amarillys with Arianna and Asteria with Angeliea headed back to escort the survivors with their other teammates.

Anastasia smirked at Sparky and then looked back to Terra " your welcome sir Terradream, may your mind be Sharp so your aim true, and good luck hunter "

Qui followed her mate even though Crimson was given her the creepy feelings but she path that a side when the red king made his rude remarks" excuse me?! Blue didn't lose any fight! He was forced into vision lock! "

"I lost to Soledormir" Blue grinned, "Well not quite, I had a vision on him and Faithful Dreamer, nearly got killed, but Faithful saved me in time" he tips his head slowly, "At least, I'm pretty sure he was the one who saved me"

He gestures to his horns, "I only lost a few gemstones, they'll grow back, I hope" he kept infront of Qui protectively as he spoke.

"And that's all we need is Victoria giving orders, she's probably experiencing effects of the Dark Mourning right now" Blue looked to Qui and then back to the group. "Dreamcatcher, when this is all over, I want to talk with you. Maybe Crimson too, about what I learned, I think you'll both find it interesting"

"Until then, do you have any spares? We couldn't find any extra items for the magic-free zone in the Tomahawk District"

"Uh... Okay!" Fiona replied. She wasn't exactly sure how Alex would get it, since she put it in her pocket in her humanoid form... But she knew of at least one species who could do things like that. She held onto the Phoenix as she took off, then as their speed leveled out, the Elemental stood on one knee and readied her sword for whatever might come at them. "Let's keep an eye out for any of the other Keyhunters, too! I think we should group up as soon as we can!"

(I am finally done with homeworkkkkkkkk for tonight, at least TuT I'll try to get a reply in but I am getting sleepy quick)

The dark phoenix drew in a breath, "Let's bring them to us, we'll save others quicker that way if we're the beacon! Ready yourself Fiona! There's no going back now!" once in the zone again, Alex parted her beak and with all her lung power, let out a shrill cry, that seemed to pierce through the skies around them.

Ai huffed as she was set on the Mare, it felt awkward being in her true form, on the back of another Vaseterm in her true form. The filly's ears twitched as she looked up at Nora, "Nora, I want help... I want /to/ help"

Her amethyst eyes were fierce with determination, "Please, give me magic, my familiar can help! And my bad touch too!" she was barely stopping herself from whining, "I'm a weapon, I should help! Judas would help!" even though she was still terrified, she wanted to prove her use.
