I have trouble with bgs too. x_X I have such a hard time thinking of something. X_X BUT!! X3 I thought of a few ideas for this! XD (why I can never come up with these things when I'm drawing something I have no clue. XD) Maybe they are sitting on the tower in Twilight Town? Or Maybe they're sitting in Sora's room? Or on the Paopu island? Ummm... Maybe sitting on a rooftop in Traverse Town? Any darkish bg would make them stand out more, but the colors you're using now make this all bright and happy... x_X Sorry I'm not much help. :(
