Don't discount the 'cartoony' style, Marco. If that's what you're good at, and if that's what you enjoy, stick with it and perfect it. Realism has always come naturally to me, specifically shading. Granted, I have a modest art education, but I sturggle to make a believable 'cartoony' figure.
