Spent a few hours on this study. Check it in 3D if you can. Saw this pic on my Bing homepage. This was a lot to tackle I think, but I learned a lot about quickly rendering with basic brushes. Still having a lot of trouble with the sand though! #landscapeartFTW

Enjoyed the video. For those who do not have a 3ds you can still get a feel for the 3d effect using the pinch method that they built into the gallery. Play the video to the end then use the mouse to click and hold on an area of the painting. Then you can move the mouse to adjust the 3d effect.

sand is impossible with water painting which this app. is. however, light reflection and shadows look good in the leaves.
