Maybe.. I tend to over think a lot of things. Sometimes however, it's good be ambitious, and to push your motivations a little. As cool as this looks, having a simplistic charm to it, and I do like that, as it displays all the information needed to the viewer. However, with my most recent painting uploaded, I let my ambitions take over to make it the best painting I've done. And in at least my own oppinion, it didn't disappoint at all.
But that's just me rambling. Do what you are comfortable doing. When you feel right about it, break that comfort zone just a little. There's no real growth in the comfort zone after all.

@TheAdjudicator yeah, I probably could have put in more effort, but I really admire people who can create a finished piece in one sitting of 2-3 hours. Your butterfly picture turned out amazing. When I spend 9hrs on a painting, I still feel unsatisfied with the result. I need more practice. I just started digital drawing in January. I will try more
