Alexandrea nods quickly to Fiona's question, "Yup, I can carry quite a few people, just get them to hold on tight" she moved further onto the roof, laying down and waiting now.

"We should hurry though, I imagine it won't be too long before more show up" Alex looked around the skies, "Or at least, we should move on after this, to help others"

"RIght! We gotta move!" Fiona agreed, hurrying through the doorway she'd broken open earlier. Once she was down below, she tried to send the people up by telling them this; "Hey! We need to get you all outta here, now!
...I know you just had a really bad experience with crazy things and flying, but you're /kinda/ gonna have to fly with my friend--the giant black bird--up top..."

Though, it was only then that she realized that the people couldn’t understand her, and she couldn’t understand what they were saying either, so…
She tried to tell them to go up in a different way—a weird game of charades.
After a bit of pointing and rapid, uninjured arm-waving, she managed to get the idea across and usher the people to the roof. The two who Alex had thrown into the building earlier had found their way to the top as well, thanks to the other rescued civilians witnessing the event.

Fiona followed the group to the top, “Okay, so we’ve actually got five people… We just need to get them on your back!” Using a few more odd, persuasive gestures, and a live example of ‘you should probably hold on,’ the Elemental tried getting everyone onto Alex’s back

Blue took the bottle from Qui, scowling down at her, "I'm just fine, and yes, treats, cookies, they gave them to members to eat. The magic in the treats help us keep using our magic in the zone" he gently nudged Qui with his hip as he walked passed, "I may have lost gemstones, but I'm still with it, mostly" he grinned back at her teasingly.

But it faded pretty quick at the nurses news, "That smells" he sighs, "But we'll make due with what we've got" he glanced around the room, most of the nurses he had gathered, had years of experience in combat and war.

"Alright, let's go" Blue started down the stairs, instead of taking the elevator, he turned the bottle in his hands as he walked. "What do I do with this? Just drink it?"

Qui push her lips and sassy " know it all " she usually did her best to know the end and out of things but that was one that frustrated her from time to time was the Vaseterm air to them about knowing stuff.

She frowned when they took the stairs, and really was questioning his heath " the stairs from the top floor?" She shook her head and toss her hands up, it was frustrating but maybe taking the long way could help give Blue some more time to get bis barrings.

Qui followed after Blue and pointed at the bottle " by what it says, you should drink about a quarter now and take it again in an hour, Suzano said it should help ease the swelling in your head "

"Don't sound so bleak" Aaliyah finishes shoving the table in, wedging the basement door shut, right as the screech reaches her ears.

"Lady Eira, would you be okay, riding on my back?" The mare asks, tilting her head, "I was thinking we could make a run for it, draw the attention of the monsters away from the building, use ourselves as bait. So the humans stay hidden and safe" she stood by the griffin shapeshifter, "What do you say? Do you have a better plan? We don't have much time"

Theo had, in the meantime, rolled onto his knees and then carefully got up, he flared his nostrils and walked over to the window, "They're still a bit away" he reports as he looks out, "But we should go, and go now"

The female Vaseterm with Aaliyah, Theo and Eira flip her tail, she was as ready as she would be to go out there again

Eira stopped what she was doing and stared at Aaliyah when the Vaseterm had responded to her negative comments with 'Don't sound so bleak.' It surprised her, and it made her reflect on herself for once. "I... guess I'm not going to improve anything with that attitude, am I?" she murmured, rubbing her arm awkwardly and managing an apologetic smile. She was going to make a proper apology when the monster screeches snapped her on alert. The shiftress gave Aaliyah a nod. "Distraction works fine. Let's get moving." Eira rushed over to the Vaseterm and gripped her mane, swinging up onto Aaliyah's back and holding on tight, preparing herself mentally for the next encounter.

Terradream tried to ignore the thunderous hooves apporaching him until he got the gremlin out of the car and on the ground, where he quickly shot it in the head. He grimcaced, feeling the shot use his magic, which to him felt like recoil that sends a light tingly feeling through his hand, up his arm, and to his head. //I'm gonna need more of those bullets, or just come back to life soon,// he thinks to himself, knowing the cost of using his magic with the gun now. Then he looks up and sees the Vaseterm sweeping through the gremlin monsters, and he feels relieved seeing how the odds are now in his favor. Before he knows it, all the gremlins have been killed, and the family in the car has been saved.

And for a moment, Terra just stands there, looking around to make sure there can't be any gremlins left, and not realizing how shaky he is. //... Is... Is that it? That was over so fast...// he ponders, quickly going to reload his gun.

Sparky, alas, had been successfully caught by the gremlin, but with it dead now, he's on the ground with nothing to hold him down. He dramatically lifts the plastic over his head and declares, "YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME, VILE CREATURE! FOR I AM A GHOoooOooOOoooOOOOOoooST!!" ... And then he realizes what's going on. "Oh! Hello, Vaseterm people!" he then cheers, still holding his hands up in the air. After this, he flies over to Terra to try and help his partner out. "Hey Terra! I think we did it!"

"Is--Are there a-anymore?" Terra asks, looking between his Fairfin and the Vanguard, then looking around the buildings nearby in case any other monsters emerge or show themselves.

Rahab dipped his head in confirmation of what the male Vaseterm informed him. "They'd better move quick. Things will get worse before they get better," he muttered ominously with another glance to the dark clouds. The griffin gazed to the city below, eagle eyes investigating the situation below. He could see Vaseterm reinforcements and vehicles spreading out on the streets - reinforcements, finally. "Air forces next," he said with his fingers crossed.
Rahab swung around and darted towards a collection of shadowy winged monsters, barreling into the crowd and taking out two with his talons and claws.

Dreameater flinches again and pulls his chain back when Crimson shouts, and stops eating the last of his chicken, staring with wide eyes at the prince. He stays quiet when Anna and him go back and forth, and he still says nothing when he continues following the red prince, but he does slowly extend his chain with the chocolate towards Crimson when he looks back at him.

Glory lightly pats the Nightmare on his shoulder to try and help him relax, though he's not paying much attention to her.

/Anna! // Dreamcatcher frowned with what his Fairfin said, he was really hoping that she wouldn't set Crimson off again, he was relieved when the red prince started to mellow out
" just take it Crimson " Catch encouraged the shapeshifter and gave a nervous smile

Crimson glace over at the Dreamer prince when he said that and then over to Dreameater, he didn't say anything but held out his hand to take the chocolate

The Mare gave a sympathetic look, she wasn't going to start scolding the girl, this wasn't the place or time, her fear was enough to prove she made a poor choice, now if only the Mare could get the filly out so it wouldn't be her last " I know dear, I can't use my magic here ether, there a spell that keeping us from using magic and only those Osiris gave special items are unaffected by the spell" she try her best to explain " we need you get you out of the spell and then you can use magic again "

Nora and her siblings and the other Vanguard had cleared out the monsters for now.
Nora wiped her paw on the roof of a car and nodded at the job well done, one of her head noticed her comrade on her knees and was curious so she hop down from the car and trotted over

When the bike shifted course and didn’t crash, Crystal had to kind of do a double take to really see what caused it. She felt grateful upon seeing the ice, making a mental note to give Boreas a good ‘thank you’ later, if they lived to do so.

As the monster roared and grabbed another car to throw, the girls eyes widened when she looked and saw said Elemental was the target. She was about to say something, but Jason beat her to it.

The second Crystal heard this upcoming stop was her opening to get off the motorcycle, she took it, quickly getting off once they were steady and removing her helmet. Her face was a little ghostly, between everything going on around them, and nearly crashing, it shook her up, but she glanced over at the building where the people were hiding and soon nodded to Jason. “O-okay, I’ll see what I can do..” she said, giving the boy one last look before darting over to the barricade of vehicles to look for a way through to the building.

Boreas brought himself to a safe landing, but kept moving forward. He glanced to Jason and Crystal's safe arrival at the barricade out of the corner of his eye before keeping all his attention on the hulking beast in front of him. Seeing it lob another car his way, the icy Elemental kicked off and flew low to the ground, increasing his speed to zip right underneath it.
"Listen, I get you didn't like that--but is there really a reason to do something so 'auto-rocious?'" He commented--whether anyone heard it or not.

He suddenly slowed to a stop and dropped to the ground, just standing there and watching as the ogre quickly approached. Then he fired a couple of blasts of ice, aiming the first at one of the creature's arms (the primary car-lobbing one, preferably), then one at one of its legs...

Overall, he was aiming to keep its attention until his distraction comrade returned, while also testing the waters to see what the monster would do...

Purity looks up when she hears Bubbles clap too, and she grins at him and his discovery. "You clapped!" she cheers, then claps her four paws together more, "Clap, clap, clap~"

" clapsss?" Bubbles repeat and then dose it again looking at his paws as he claps, his eyes were bright with wonder, he likely theses legs

Dreameater drops the chocolate bar in Crimson's hand and quickly retracts his chain, continuing to watch him closely as he slowly finishes his chicken.

Glory does speak up after a moment, though. "... I... I hope it helps you feel better, Crim..." she quietly says, looking over at the prince with a faint smile.

Alexandrea could feel the weight increasing on her quite a bit as people piled on, the phoenix squinted, almost wincing. //I've never carried this many before// once they were all on, she shakily stood.

And she stood there for a moment, trying to adjust to her new weight, then just trying not to collapse.

Spreading her wings out, she was straining every muscle as she started to run, beating her wings near the edge of the roof and just barely managing to take off.

"What? Walking the stairs will help clear my mind, get me ready for a fight" Blue grinned, though he might have taken them because his mind wasn't all there, but now he was committing to it.

Blue opened the bottle and took about as much as he was told to drink. He then capped it and put it in his pocket.

Continuing down all the flights of stairs, he was fairly quiet, thinking about all that was going on, but mostly worrying about Ai.

Aaliyah waited for Eira to be properly on her back, then with a look to Theo, he hopped out the window and took off, letting out high pitched cries to draw attention to himself.

Aaliyah took off after him, making sure to jump out the window low enough so Eira would be fine. She wasn't trying to scrape her off.

Once her hooves connected with the pavement, the silver mare took off into a full gallop, easily catching up to her partner as monsters could be seen clambering over vehicles and chasing after the Vaseterm now.

Ai was wide-eyed staring at the mare, she started to come out, when she noticed Nora coming. Of course, she knew who Nora was, but had never seen her in that form and with her mind clouded with fear. Ai shrieked, "There another one! Watch out!" she was already wiggling herself back under the vehicle.

After helping the rather wary, frightened, and extremely confused people onto Alex's back, and witnessing how much strain it was putting on the Phoenix, Fiona felt rather concerned for her friend's wellbeing.

The Elemental ran and took off into the air after Alex, though at first, she wound up taking a big dive that required a bit of a struggle to make up for. //...I get why Alex is having a rough time flying--but why am I?!// Her brow furrowed in frustration at this thought, but nontheless, she kept her focus on the Phoenix ahead of her and the people on her back, making sure everyone was okay.

Crimson pulled the chocolate bar over to himself, he didn't eat it at first but glace over to Glory, then he looked down at it again as he walked, his mind was a World Wind of many thoughts but for now maybe he could just focus on this? " thanks " was all he said before taken a bite out of the candy.

A smirk came on the red prince lips, it was one of those things were you know you like something but almost forgot how much you do until you taste it again.

Catch smile at that he could tell that the candy was helping up Crimson in a better mood, with that he quietly bummed Eater with his first to let him know he did good.

However the happy feeling would not last long, ones Crimson started to calm down that when he was more aware of his surroundings, to the people they were passing got out of his way or gave him looks. Crimson quickened his pace, that was something he wasn't use to, so many judging looks boring down on him, with every look it added to his discomfort.

Catch felt the tension in the air, the city was under attack and everyone was on edge, with both Crimson and Eater he wasn't really surprised that people were going looks, he could tell it wasn't settled well with Crimson and thought he rather give one of his talks, this wasn't the place or time, instead Catch tap Crimson on the shoulder " come on follow me" and with that Dreamcatcher took off running.

Crimson wasn't expecting that, he blink a few times but definitely didn't want to stay were he was, he glace ones to Eater before the red prince put the last piece of chocolate in his mouth before racing after the Dreamer

Alexandrea knew where she had to go, to leave the barrier, but getting there was becoming a fast issue.

The dark phoenix let out wheezes and chirps as she flew, her eyes narrowed with determination, despite every wingbeat feeling like nothing but sheer agony. It took all her will power to keep going, she usually carried one or two people at a time, her limit was just barely three.

Needless to say 5 was killing her. Soon she wasn't even flying above the building rooftops, but she knew she didn't have much longer to go.

Dreameater had stayed quiet, but while Crimson was walking along eating his chocolate, the Nightmare had eased up and calmed down. By the time he started getting uncomfortable again, and then Catch took off, Eater was in a much better mood. "Oh!! We're allowed to run inside?!" he chuckles as he takes off after them both, then playfully shoves Crimson as he passes by him. "WHY WEREN'T WE DOING THIS TO START WITH?!"

Jason only waited until Crystal got off, he gave a nodded and then took off on his bike.

The monsters slow down for only for a moment, the ice on its foot stop the creature but only long enough for it to take its frozen fist and smash the ice on his foot, with it foot free the monsters made a charge for Boreas taking its fist that was still covered in ice and was going to use it as a hammer.

Up above looks down from the Rooftops were wings monsters, they were staying out of the way of the bigger monster but now that he wasn't forced on the people these monsters were getting bolder...

A brown hair police officer was coordinating the defense, Josh with his partner Christina had managed to gather people to this location and had defend it so far.

" look alive people! Were not out of this yet! Keep an eye on those Rooftops!" Josh ordered pointing up.

Purity just giggles at her friend at first, but then starts to wonder what else she might be able to teach him... Getting sidetracked from her quest to help him walk, she holds out her four paws and starts wiggling her claws at him. "Wiggle wiggle~"

The female Vaseterm didn't hesitate and followed after Aaliyah and her mate

The male Vaseterm followed after Rahab, he wasn't as fast or agile in the sky as the Griffin, he charged at the dark creatures and ram one with his horns

Qui wasn't going to argue against that, Blue needed as much time to recover as he could get. She slipped her arm in his as she muttered " stubborn mule"
She to worry about what was happening in the city and to her daughter

Blue and his group finally reached the main level and he wasted no time leaving the infirmary and heading down the all, of course, with Qui beside him. He felt comfort in her prescence, but also, he worried too. His desire to protect her and Ai was tearing him up a bit inside.

"Straight to the Tomahawk District, can anyone tell me where the points are? For the Vanguard to arrive at the location?" Blue looked to Qui, then the nurses following behind them.

The mare turned her head when Ai warning, she was both relieved and slightly annoyed to see that it was just healer chimera " Nora, you frightened the girl! "

Nora's heads leading to their own ways to get a better look at the little filly " Ai it just me, you know Nora?" Her goat head said, then followed by her tiger head " I give you candy and stickers after your check ups " she said as sweaty as a chimera can.

Her dragon head then looked up in thought " hm, you never seen me in my true form before have you?"

As Fiona watched, she immediately noticed the new, quickly developing problem... //Oh, that's not good...!// The Elemental grimaced, flying at an angle to pick up speed, then pushing herself to level out and reach the descending Phoenix--which wasn't easy, even with Alex struggling to stay in the air.
"I'll help carry 'em Alex!!" Fiona called out ahead of time.
//...I've only ever carried one person, and that's when I'm flying fine!
...Well, I gotta try!//

Fiona flew down towards the many passengers on Alexandrea's back, but didn't land. //Please don't freak out, please don't freak out--// She hoped in her mind, first waving and motioning to one of the civillians to... Attempt to let him know what was about to happen... Then she tried flying underneath him to scoop him up onto her backside.

It worked... Kind of. She practically tackled the guy off of Alex's backside--but he now he was holding onto her for dear life and making fearful noises, which was half of what she was going for. //...Sorry! Jeez, I wish I could /talk/ to these people...// The Elemental was pushing her own limits rather heavily already, but she still wanted to try and pick up one more person with her good arm if she could manage...

Eira grasped Aaliyah's mane and ducked against the mare's back as she leaped through the window. She was well familiar with riding equines, having grown up with three Dreamer friends, so the pounding gallop and rushing wind didn't faze her.
With one hand on Aaliyah's mane, Eira leaned backwards and shot ice at a monster on their tail, freezing the shadowy beast in its place.

The head of the party that aided Terra came over, she stayed on her partner as the rest of her team split up, two stayed on watch as the others held the family get up on the backs of the other females.

The leader quickly draw her bow and fired a shot in the sky, nailing a low flying dark creature, one that was a look out to alarm others, she then lowered her bow and said calmly" this situation is under control sir Terradream, for the time being, my team will escort these civilians to one of our base camps " the bow user informed ghost. She then tuned her head as she placed two fingers on one ear, making a call though her radio in her ear piece" were returning back to base with a group of five" she passed listen to the replied charter before looking back to the Dreamer and Fairfin " there still much work to be done key hunter, hold fast to your training, a steady mind holds a steady bow or in your case a gun " she turns to leave " do not doubt yourself or your aim will follow "

Dreamcatcher smirked at Eater when he caught up, the Dreamer prince wasn't running at full speed but at a good fast pace nonetheless, he knew better to not waste his energy, but this was starting to get him excited " hay Weaver, we might actually do something like the heroes in the story!"

Crimson was more then a little confused why Eater and Catch were taken this so light hearted, he still didn't have the best people skills to understand that keeping morale high was a good thing, then again he never had much experience with others but it was working, before he even knew it the red prince was more focused on keeping up with the Dreamer and Nightmare, and watching them.

" WHOOOOO!! Here we come to save the day!! " Anna cheered upon Catch head, holding on to his hair

Bubbles pulls is head back and opens his mouth in shock as not only can you move legs but wiggles the rocks that seem to be stuck to them to! He looks down at his own feet and wiggles his toes and actually pay attention to doing it "Rockssss Wigglessss?!" He then holds his paws up to show Purity that this rocks move to! So he wiggles his toes to show her

Ai was too frightened to move, her mind numb with fear, chances are someone was gonna have to pull her out of her hiding spot. She tried listening to the scary Chimera, "Nora?" the tiny filly whispers

Alexandrea felt a bit of the weight lifted from her, she turned her head to glance Fiona, "Don't worry about more!" she chirped, "I can make it! I can handle the rest!" she beat her wings hard and managed to ascend a few good feet.

She knew she'd feel all of this once everything was said and done.

Aaliyah kept her gaze focused on the path ahead of her, she would let Eira know when she was about to jump or was going to make a sharp turn. All while Theo kept making loud noises, to draw attention to them as they went.

When one monster was frozen or taken down, 2 or 3 more seemed to appear in its stead. There were at least 7 on their tails now.

"Lady Eira!" Aaliyah shouts, "Try not to over do anything! We should arrive at one of the Vanguard locations shortly!"

The two lone survivors of the pack of gremlins were still working to break loose the broken piece of skyscraper two floors above the group surrounding the car. With a heavy 'CRUNCH,' the large chunk of concrete started sliding and would soon tip off the edge and hurtle towards the car and anyone around it below.

Fiona was about to try and speed up to fly in again, but when she heard Alex, she eventually let herself lose a bit of momentum, "If you say so! Just hang on, we'll be there before you know it!" She shouted back, making her best effort to keep herself going as well.
...Since she wasn't going to use her good hand to pick up another person, she grabbed hold of her passenger's arm for extra security, "Hey, I'm not gonna drop ya!" The Elemental tried to calm him down a little... Even with the language barriers.

"Yeah!! We just might!!" the Nightmare cheers back, but then slows his pace... //... Wait, no!! I'm--// Eater frowns slightly, but he stops himself from snapping. //... Last time I did a stupid... I don't want Crimson to kill me over something stupid...// "MmmmMMMmm..." is all he ends up grumbling at that, and picks up his pace again.

The Nightmare does notice that Catch isn't running at his top speed, and thus sees an opportunity... Once the exit to the palace is in sight, he picks up his pace and quickly outspeeds Catch, just beating him out the doors. "HaHA! I win this uncalled race!" he gloats, but quickly starts to try coming up with plans. //Ok, now it's just a matter of getting there... Crimson doesn't need to shapeshift to his dragon form, Catch is fast but he's still slower in his human form--can he even shapeshift still? I dunno if that's risky for him or not... Then I don't even know what kind of vehicles they have here or how we'd even begin to ride one--unless they were those things we saw with people in them last night, but still my last point stands,// Dreameater comtemplates as he wanders around in a circle for a moment, but just as quickly comes to a conclusion on what his trio needs to do. "... Hey Crim, I know you've killed probably countless Nightmares before, but have you ever rode on the back of one into battle?" he finally asks, turning to face the red prince with a smirk.

" if we follow procedures, they try to set up base camps as strongholds, in that District we have 5 locations that are in case of emergency " Qui did her best to inform Blue on what she knew, there was still a lot of unknown but she knew a way to find out...

Qui took her free hand and dug in her bag that she carried with her, from there she pulled out her cellphone and ear piece and got to work " Ashley, got any gossip on the street?"

With a Sky Full of attitude the elf replied " it'd not gossip Qui, it valuable information, but yes, kinda, everything a bit of a mess right now, what exactly do you need?"

Qui glace up at Blue before saying " any information on the Vanguard in the situation?"

" Qui your asking me? Tesk, tesk here I thought you were Queen rights hand Maiden?"

Qui bite her lip, Ashley always knew what buttons to push but right now wasn't the time to get in a fight with the elf " I been a bit busy lately Ashley "

" huh, mother problems again? But we can chat later, the Vanguard already on site, they set up a radio signal, give me a moment.... camp 2,3 and 4 have been set up...unfortunately site 1 has suffered losses and have pulled back to site 2... site 5 is facing heavy resistance"

Qui nodded as she listened, she placed a hand to her ear as she looked up to Blue " the Vanguard has 3 of 5 Basecamp up, we lost base 1 and 5 under attack right now but 2 thought 4 are standing "

Alexandrea nodded a few times in response to Fiona, everything hurt now, but she knew where the end was. And thankfully, she made it, she felt herself leave the barrier and then quickly made a landing.

She staggered a bit on the side walk, but stopped herself from mugging out, once she stood still and firm. She then collapsed onto the concrete, her breathing coming in terrible wheezes.

Blue looked down at Qui, "Let's start with base 5, we can't afford anymore casualties" he picked up the pace to the door now, his long legs easily covering ground as he went, still holding his short mate with one arm as he went, practically dragging her with him.

"Qui get on my back and we'll fly there, the rest of you, drive!" Blue orders, "There should be a vehicle or two left for you to bring, keep an eye on the road too, make sure you don't cross the area while in the vehicle, none of us are protected against that spell right now!"

" no Nora, I don't think she has" the Mare replied

The heads of the Chimera nodded, she then shifted to her human form, though she wasn't in her normal attire that she wore in the Infirmary, she was in a Battle Maiden armor " see Ai it just me " she holds her arms out to the side and even does a small spin to show off her human form and then kneel down " will you come out now Ai?"

Ai felt immediate relief when she recognized Nora, the filly scrambled out from under the vehicle and ran into Nora, even knocking her head and horns against Nora's armor didn't seem to phase her at all. She pressed as much of herself to Nora as she could, "I want shift too, I don't like hooves"

The female Vaseterm followed along with Theo to try and draw the monsters attention, she race down the street weaving around the cars, her eyes watching as dark creatures crawl on the buildings and over vehicles " there just no end to these thing! "

With the leader of the Vaseterm here informing him about the situation and trying to give him advice, Terradream bows his head to her and tries to calm down, but also tries to hide his own disappointment from her. //... I know that already, I shouldn't be needing to hear it again, yet I am... Ugh...// "Y-yes, ma'am, I-I... You'll--" Terra stutters, then stops himself and tries again. "... I'll see who e-else needs help. Thank you for the assistance and for taking care of this. I know they're in good hands..."

Sparky lands on Terra's beak when his partner lifts his head up again. "Now, don't look so down! You /did/ save them, Terra, you did the best that you could and kept them alive just long enough for them all to survive. Does it really matter if you couldn't do it all yourself?"

//I don't like such close calls, Sparky, I thought for sure they weren't going to make it,// Terra inwardly sighs to his Fairfin, although thinking about Sparky's words more does help his attitude some.

//No one does, but they're safe, so that's what counts in my book!// Sparky telepathically cheers, giving Terra finger guns before flying off Terra's beak.

It's shortly after that that he hears the CRUNCH from the gremlin's handiwork, and he quickly looks up, feeling on edge again. He quickly spots something moving... "Up there! On the second f-floor, there's more!?" he shouts and points.

Fiona followed a bit farther behind Alex now, but soon came to a landing behind her. Her long brown hair made a 'thump' sound when it hit the ground. She was gasping for air herself, but not nearly as bad as her friend was. The Elemental got to work, letting her passenger down and ushering off the civilians who hadn't already left Alex's back. Then she dropped to her knees next to the Phoenix, gently patting her on the back, "We made it! You did awesome, Alex!
We saved people!!" She beamed excitedly, then briefly glanced around at the five civilians... Not exactly knowing what else they could, or should do for them... But right now she was more focused on the Phoenix.
Her excitement turned into a more serious, almost quiet tone, "Believe me, I'm not gonna let it be this tough next time--I'm not gonna get separated from you again like that."

Alexandrea couldn't even respond for a few moments, her lungs felt like they were rubbed raw. After a while, she managed to croak out a response, "Yeah... we saved people" she'd smile if she could in that form.

"Hooo" The phoenix shifted her postion a bit, to get more comfortable, "Maybe, you should ride on my back? That way you don't have to focus on flight and can just cleave through anything we come across? I'm a better flier than a fighter" Alex could feel her magic wasn't locked anymore.

"We should heal up first, where are you hurt?"

"Not rocks! Those are claws!" Purity happily informs Bubbles as she tries to move over to him, using her wyvern wings as forelegs, and pushing herself forward with her long snake body (and a rather wide waddle). She then carefully takes one of Bubbles' paws and holds it out so she can show him, pointing to his claws with another of her paws, "These hard parts are your claws! And these..." she starts to explain, but stops, suddenly being possessed of an almost childlike curiosity as well. //... Are they toes, or are they fingers? I'm really starting to think these are more arms than legs, but we could probably use them for both... Maybe? So then what would they be...? Hmmmmm...// "I think... These are fingers," she finally declares, a very thoughtful look on her face as she pokes the softer part of Bubbles' paw.

Dreamcatcher didn't speed up when the Nightmare out pace him he just shook his head and let out a chuckle.
Crimson watch but didn't say anything, he did wonder who was actually faster of the two, even he could tell Catch wasn't running with his all and that made him curious in just how fast he was, though right now it wasn't important but it was note worthy...

Ones outside Catch places a hand to his chinn as he watch his friend Pace back and forth, he to was thinking but when Eater seem to be coming up with a plan, he turned to look at the red prince to " Crimson! WHAT IN THE MOONS?! STOP THAT!" he rushed over and grabbed his arm without hesitation.

Crimson had stolen a knife from the Infirmary and had already cut his hand with it and had started carving ruins in his arm when the Dreamer stop him " WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!" he snapped back.

" moons he nuts! " Anna gasped

Catch knew Crimson had corruption but he didn't know the red prince knew blood magic " Crimson! Are you trying to do blood magic? That Sirius Wicked stuff, you shouldn't be messing with that! "

Crimson gives the Dreamer prince a look like who should he be telling him what to do " so tell me? were going up against both Malice and Void, two of Soledormirs most powerful Pawns and you expect me not to go out into battle as fully prepared as possible? What kind of fool do you take me as?" He challenged timing his head to the side, eye the Dreamer prince as if he was size him up.

Fiona stood up as Alex recovered enough to speak and moved to a more comfortable position. "That could be a good plan! We'll just have to make sure that'll work on what we run into." The Elemental moved to show Alex her torn arm. "This is the worst of it... They got some hits on my back too--but my armor's still here, even with this disguise. I'll be alright either way, so you don't have to use up a bunch of your magic on me!"

She had been feeling extra tired, but found that ever since they exited the spell, she was slowly starting to regain her energy... It was too fast to be from her just standing there, though. //...That's not from the spell, is it? I thought the warmaiden's tiara Osiris gave me was supposed to help with that...?//

Dreameater quickly drops his smirk and the fun attitude he has when he and Catch both see what Crimson is doing. He quickly walks over, frowning and crossing his arms, and stands in front of Crimson as the red prince challenges the Moonblood prince again. "A fool who's going to cause more trouble than good if you keep this up, that's what," the Nightmare coldly snaps, then more seriously continues, "Look, I don't know how or if blood magic affects your head, but I feel this is just /asking/ for your corruption to mess with you more, and I'm trusting you enough to even bring you out here with the hopes that you'll keep your head clear so you can watch me. Do you think I want to see you losing yourself out there, too?" But, he does pause for a brief moment to breathe. "What kind of freaking blood magic thing are you even wanting to do, anyway? What would this do?"

Alex huffed and got up enough, to sit on her birb feet, she leaned her head forward and touched her beak very gently to Fiona's arm. It took a few moments for anything to happen, but eventually her magic came forward and she began to heal the Elemental.

"Don't feel you have to hide any injury from me, we don't need heroics or foolish bravery, we need to be as close to a 100% as we can be" Alex's silver eyes met Fiona's, "We're in this together, Fiona, I've got your back"

Eira blasted one or two more pursuers before stopping and looking at Aaliyah when she warned her to not overdo it. "You're right. So long as you can keep your pace up, we'll find reinforcements and take them all down together." Though she held her fire, Eira kept a close eye behind them, ready to attack any monster that got to close to the heels of Aaliyah, Theo, or the other Vaseterm.
