It's so hard to design characters, and when I actually need to, too...
It's especially hard to draw characters that look like normal people, or even look like a believable human.
I'm gonna...look through my old designs and harvest some unused characters.

Another issue I'm facing is that I lost refrence sheets for a few of my ocs, including ones I would have liked to draw more.

That sucks... I don't make reference sheets, but DO straight up forget ideas I could be SUPER excited about :(

On a lighter note: some your characters DO look believable as human. Did you mean you wanted them to look more realistic, or?...

I hardly ever keep notes of my ideas and stuff, and keep forgetting story ideas..
some of my ocs proportions are super cartoony, to the point of sometimes being abstract, and my ocs often vary in style and it feels like half of my ocs styles clash.
