Im really sorry, birds really are members of the family... please take all the time you need... i know they must have had a great life, i'm sorry they left you so suddenly and I dont want to derail at all but i know the feeling, its frustrating not being able to help them... they really tough things out until the very last minute and while its admirable, it also makes you feel awful for not somehow noticing it earlier, even though its just what they do... yeah im sorry, it sucks
i dont know if you'll see this but i know how hard grief is and im so sorry you lost greenie so suddenly. time doesnt really fully heal that pain of loss, but i do know overall things start to get better, even with grieving of a lost one being somewhat consistent it does get easier to think of their memory and the good times rather than hurt because they're gone. i know its been a couple months since ive lost a relative but it still feels so fresh. losing anybody is so hard. i hope whenever you read this you're thinking of the good times you had with Greenie. i know how much your birds mean to you and again im so sorry you got yelled at and all the awful things in general you dont deserve at all.
