I thought of this new type of person! ...It needs work. ( And a better name, lol. ) I think I wanna make this one a little lighter-skinned as well. 'o' Not too light, but just enough.
So an Artask can make things out of their magic sketch tools. Now that may not sound exciting, BUT. If an Artask who specializes in coloring partners with a sketcher Artask, upon finishing, the creation becomes real! :O
But even if they make things, they can't replace the original. The creations can be erased with one of their tools. ( Still working out other ways, too.

No one knows what they're about, or who they are under the masks. But they look creepy. :'D

Ooh, they remind me of a dream I had once! It was super cool. It was kind of like Zatch Bell or Fate/Zero, if you've ever seen either of those, in that there was this big, ongoing tournament kind of thing, & all the participants were magic-users who summoned Familiars into creation by drawing them, & the Familiars would help them fight other "Summoners" in the hopes of winning the tournament. In the dream, I was an apprentice to one of these Summoners, & she was also my best friend. But as I grew stronger in my summoning abilities & closer to becoming a full-fledged Summoner, she decided it would be better to "take out the competition before [I] became too strong," & so she attempted to assassinate me! ("o_o)
There was more, but I don't want to bore you, lol. Your Artask characters just reminded me of this dream, & I got excited & thought I'd share. Sorry. x'D

So if I'm understanding this correctly these Artask people are pretty much artists, but with the supernatural ability to make their creations/art come to life?

If that's true then they should teach Varnish some tricks.

@ShihouxAdventure Yeah, that's the gist of it! It was actually an idea of mine for that other contest I was entering, but I wasn't sure of it. Got cold feet at the last minute and did something else.

Oh, HIM! Omg, I forgot he could do that! :O He would be the grandmaster to them, because I'm sure Varnish has a more advanced skill set than your average Artask would.
