Second, Happy early Birthday to my brother, lol. I haven't drawn him a Birthday present in years, but he inspired me with this request, so he finally gets one. A month early, but he's ecstatic about it nevertheless. :P
Here we have Asher Whiffle-Tongue, one of my brother's D&D characters from his RP group in Total Party Chill's Discord server. To describe him in my own words, Asher is a "Hot Mailman Lizard Wizard." xD
In this scene, he finally receives his long-awaited Familiar, a Russian Blue cat named Gyp... Yes, that's right, I managed to convince my brother to make his Familiar my Mascat Gyp! Muahaha! One of my proudest achievements in life. x'D
I tried a lot of new things in this drawing, & I think it turned out really well. What do you think? I'm especially not very good at drawing lizards/lizard-like creatures, nor musculature, so Asher being a beefcake of a Lizardfolk was a daunting task for me, hahah. And my brother wanted a more realistic Gyp to be more fitting in this setting, so I had to remember how to draw normal cats. But overall, I'm quite happy with how the whole thing turned out, & my brother loves it, too, so that makes it even better. (^-^)b

Oh, & the Camera icon is because I was using a reference of my brother's Hero Forge model of Asher. Quite a few references were used to put this together, mostly Asher's Hero Forge models, & cats. It's been a while since I drew a normal cat, lol. xD

Ngl, I had no idea that was Gyp. I thought it was just some kitty. He doesn't have Gyp's trademark face! xD
I like this lizardfolk character, the biceps, the scales and plates, he's the complete package! *^*

@Prometheus: I mean, yeah, realistic-looking Gyp looks a lot different than how Gyp normally looks. xD
But that's how Gyp looks in that world. I'm sure he will make a great Familiar. :P

@Veggyunju: I'll have to draw him when I get the chance. He's great, I love him a lot, which is funny because when I created him, I was literally not taking anything seriously, lol. But he's grown a lot since then, & now he's become a rather interesting character. I enjoy playing as him.

@Kimi-no-Kioku: Thank youuu~! Yeah, I, like, have never drawn muscles... Like, ever??? So this was a trip, man, hahahah. :'D
Backgrounds are both the bane of my existence, & also the highlight of my night, lol. These days, I'm finding they tend to be the funnest part, because I usually get to be the most creative when drawing scenery or whatever. I think to myself, "It doesn't have to look exactly like the real thing, I just have to suggest that it looks like the real thing, & the viewer will fill in the rest." And I can basically just make it up as I go along, until I go, "Yep, looks good." But it's also pretty stressful, because if I do mess it up, then it'll ruin the whole drawing. Oof. It's wack. x'D
And also, yeah, Gyp looks so weird in that world, hahah. Like a normal cat? What?! That's crazy. :P
If I ever do another drawing of Asher, it would be my own idea I have, & it would have Gyp in his normal form, because it'd be really cute & funny. But my brother wanted this one to be more serious, because this is an important, emotional part of Asher's life, & is actually going to happen in the RP soon, I think, so I understood why he wanted a more realistic cat for this piece. No prob.
Also-also, yes, my brother literally squealed. He loves it. :D
