True, people can be VERY cold and standoffish. It's actually vile: while not everybody can get along; at the same time, straight up pushing everybody away--out of a friend group, is like racism.

There's only gonna be handful of people who you can call friends. And the others are just gonna be passing by, or just looking for something free from you.
