The Dreamer prince flinched not paying attention to what Eater was doing until he got boop he looked down at the at the sticker on his sling and made a 'what face?' But in hearing Terra explanation a look of awa came upon his face " ok that cool " he almost felt like a little fawn thinking about magical stickers // how does this even work or who ever came up with something like this? //

But with what Terra said Crystal was getting got him to look up in surprise and Echo Eater " What? --A gun?! Really? " trying to imagine the girl with a gun was hard unless it was a water gun, he didn't even know if Crystal knew what one was

Catch frowned realizing the ghost was being a bum and was teasing and muttered " ha.ha funny Terra " he leaned to see what his friend had for the human girl

As Crystal made it over to the others she returned Catch’s grin with yet another small smile of her own after what he told her, “I’ll try not to, but I think you all would have found a way to pull through anyway,” she responded.

The girl couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow curiously when Eater placed one of the stickers on Dreamcatcher, puzzled but also a bit amused by his action.

Crystal also couldn’t help but recoil a bit at both their reactions after what Terra said. She looked at the three of them with a slightly confused look on her face, she didn’t know what was so shocking about it, “is.. is that something bad?” she mumbled, watching them closely but from where she stood.

"Huh?" Eater remarks, glancing over at Crystal when she mumbles, then waves a hand dismissively and smiles. "Oh, no, it's not something bad, it's just that guns are kind of a loud and explosive weapon, and it just sounds kinda funny imagining a nice girl like you with something like that...? ... Terra's just employing his sense of humor."

Not making any other comment on what Eater said, Terradream pulls out a fine glove out of his bag, and hands it over to Crystal. "H-here, this is yours," he quietly says, making sure she's got it before he pulls his ribbon back. The glove is very delicate, beautifully decorated with lace and fine embroidery, but looks fragile... "... You'll just have to be careful with it."

Terra then turns back to his bag, pulls out a royal purple scarf, and hands it to Dreameater.

"A scarf? For me?" Eater asks, rather surprised as he takes it and quickly puts it on, then shrugs. "Alright I guess, it works. If it'll help with anything I'll feel out there, I'll wear it."

"Osiris said it should help, at least some," Terra simply replies, turning to look over the small group that is here.

"Alright, so we're all set... Right?" Dreameater asks, though he crosses his arms and taps his fingers rather anxiously. //Well, everyone's ready except for me, I still don't trust that I won't lose myself out there... There's gotta be something more for me to do, though...//

" ooh I guess you are all bark and no bite " Scarlet Mound with disappointment, she would have finished the Xanos right there by sucking the rest of his blood out but she remembered Hiiro was a guess of her mother something that was made clearly
" Scarlet, Your Enthusiasm is Honorable, but he does are master no good deeds if he dies now " the Duchess voice from before spoke smoothly in the darkness.
Though Hiiro would not be able to see her, Scarlet immediately Bow Down.

" Oh Hiiro, what's a mess you are.... you could not even impress my stepchildren, but I see good in you, I give you new life in Soledormir name... "A bell ring and shortly many footsteps came

The Duchess was the Blood mother, her voice called out in a dark chant followed by Scarlet voice and other Sinister the Beautiful voices

Hiiro would have felt the Duchess cold hand be placed on him as the sound of gasps followed by the sound of something hitting the floor.

At the Blood mothers touch Hiiros wounds were starting heal...

Hiiro couldn't focus at all, his mind going dark and empty, his hide twitched as the cold hands touched him. He barely managed to wrinkle his snout in a silent snarl.

He could feel his wounds closing, as they closed, he could also feel some strength returning, enough to at least lift his head up properly. He turned it to the hands touching him, but didn't make a move to attack, not yet.

If anything, he was just confused. He had just expected to come through the portal, be tortured and turned into something better. Point A to point B. Not all this weirdness.

Rahab startled and began to veer to the side when he heard two voices shouting at them, followed by the swift approaching form of Alex's dark wings.
Eira put a hand on his neck. "Ray-Ray, wait! We can group up with Alex and Fiona!" she called to him.

The Shadow Hunter grumbled something under his breath but turned around in the air and flew back towards the two girls, hovering in front of them. "And who are these two?" He looked them over with narrowed eyes, then fixed on Fiona. "Hold up... You're that runt fuzzball of the old man Boreas. How long have you been caught up with all this Keyhunting work?"

Alexandrea went to answer Rahab when he immediately jumped to Fiona and questioning her. She rolled her eyes and didn't have time or interest in small talk... She also couldn't hover in this form. So she just kept going to the city, although slower now.

Fiona stopped midair in front of Rahab, a very unhappy look coming across her face as she was called a 'runt fuzzball.' She noticed that Alex was flying ahead, then she quickly answered Rahab, "Hey! I'm not a fuzzball OR a runt!! My name's Fiona, remember? We met again yesterday! I've been with these guys for...
Gah, like... A year and a half!"
She didn't try to ask about the fact that Rahab knew her uncle, instead, she started following after Alex, but she looked back to ask her own question, "You guys are headed to the outer part of the city too, right?! Because it's under attack? Do you have something to protect yourselves from the spell?!"

"You don't have any legs anymore..." Purity answers the snake sadly, "I wish I could give you back your legs and turn you back to normal, but I don't have that power... It doesn't hurt though now, does it...?"

The snake looks back up at the Dreamer " .... Isss, painsss..."it looks at her blankly again for a moment before lowering its head " .... nowsss Isss notssss...Issss...Issss....nothingnesssss" the snake eyes shifted over to the octopus crabs slowly coming out from hiding now that the red prince was gone and all was calmer

"... I'm glad you're not in pain anymore, at least..." Purity thinks out loud, but she does keep some thoughts to herself: //... There's still something very wrong with this poor snake...// Though she's still rather hesitant, she slowly reaches out one ribbon towards it. "... You won't try to bite me or anything if I get too close, will you? I don't want to hurt you, not after what he did to you, but I don't know for sure if... you're something evil or not. I don't know what all he did to you..."

Dreamcatcher stretches his neck to see what Terra really has for the human girl " oh? That pretty cool, it can go along with your...huh?" he noticed that she wasn't wearing her other glove and asked curiously " what happened to your other one? "

He looked to the Nightmare when he asked if everyone was ready, a smirk came to his face seen the scarf " that pretty cool to, you can really look like one of the heroes we use to pretend to as fawns " he then glace back over to Crystal wondering if she was ready

A few more sound of gasping follow by the noise of collapsing, then it was quite...

" feeling better ~" the blood mother hummed, The Duchess then set back " I am giving you a new life Destruction, one in which you should be grateful for, not many are chosen for this blessing " with that the red lights flickered back on...

Surrounding Hiiro was dozens of bodies of variety of species but all were... women and children
" come Destruction, let us begin your purification " the Duchess smirked as she smoothly wave a hand to follow her

The snake started a bit at the girl question before answering " ... yousss toss bigsss tossss eatssss? " he then looked back over to were the crabs creatures were at "... Isss cansss eatsss themssss?"

Hiiro narrowed his eyes, he didn't feel like Destruction, he didn't feel like anything had changed. Why was she calling him that when he wasn't that yet? He glanced around at the bodies when they were revealed, but the only thought that ran through his mind was, //No one can blame me, I didn't kill them, she did//

He then stood up, it wasn't without great effort, but he finally managed to stand on his shaky legs. Following the Duchess on all fours.

"No... I don't have anything to toss for you to eat," Purity quietly replies, then follows the snake's gaze over to the octopus crabs. "No--no, you don't want to eat them, you used to be an octopus crab...! Aren't they your friends...?" she asks, sounding rather heartbroken as she carefully goes to pick up the snake with her ribbon.

Crystal nodded slowly, the confusion on her face easing up as Eater explained. Based on the description ‘loud and explosive’ she had a feeling a gun was something she wouldn’t enjoy.. it sounded like the complete opposite of what she preferred from a weapon. Ever so slightly a smile tugged at the corner of her lips, since she now understood the joke a little better.

The girl looked over at Terradream when he begins to hand something to her. She held out her hands, and when the object was set in her grasp, her eyes widened for a moment and she whispered a little “oh..!”. She gazed at the glove, turning it around in her hands and inspecting all its details before glancing back at the Dreamer and giving a slight dip of her head, “thank you.”

Crystal then looked over at Catch when he questioned her, “My glove was taken from me back at that last temple.. It was found, but it’s currently still with Jason as far as I know. From what I gathered, something happened to it and he had to fix it, but I forgot to get it last time I had the chance.”

She slipped the new glove on her hand as the others talked, wondering if it worked similarly to hers, then nodded when asked if they were ready. Truth was, Crystal was most definitely not ready, she was scared to go out and potentially face whatever it is that might be waiting, but she wasn’t going to say so. Instead, she just tried to prepare herself, and look like she was ready.

The Duchess lead the way out of the gates chamber, she went at her own pace, walking with Elegance and full Royal confidence." Destruction, tell me what is power?..."

The red light turned on just a few feet before her and they turned off just a little behind Hiiros tail, only the area they were in was illuminated everything else was Pitch Black.

Gold, gems and other precious materials line the walls, golden statues that stood in an assortment of sizes from 8 feet to over 30 were in nooks of the walls, their monster shapes heads slowly turned to follow Hiiro, their eyes glowing with a red gemstones but they were not the most deadly things in this place...

"Yeah... Kind of," Dreameater huffs, smirking faintly at Catch's comments, though he's not actually amused by the thought. //Kind of, except I'm a monster that might end up killing people instead of saving them...
Not that I /should/ want to be a hero! I haven't eaten anyway and I could use a good meal...
...... Eugh... Stay focused...//

Glancing between Catch, Terra, and Crystal and coming to the conclusion that they're just about ready, Eater nods his head as well and says, "Alright, give me just a moment, there's a favor I need to ask of someone."
He then turns and starts making his way over to Boreas and Jasmine, though he's not really paying attention to the latter. "Hey! Captain! Can you come with us?" he asks with a hopeful, yet almost nervous smile on his face, "You could help keep an eye on me, right? And make sure everyone's alright?"

Terradream simply nods his head in reply to Crystal, then he goes quiet, thinking as he looks back into his bag. //I think that's everything, except the human disguises. Crystal doesn't need one of those... I'm not forgetting anything, right? Am I...?//

//Captain Boreas and the blue lady, well not /your/ blue lady, she's not blue enough for that, but the other blue lady and the Captain probably need something!// Sparky cheerfully replies to his partner through telepathy.

//Yeah, ok,// Terra mentally notes, though he still remains quiet, since Eater is over there talking to them at the moment. "... C-Catch, do you have an enchanted item to give you a human disguise here already...?" he asks, looking over at the prince.

The snake just started at the Dreamer when she said she didn't have anything to give him. He then looked over to the crabs for a good moment "... friendsssss? " he wasn't sure what that meant.

The snake flinched getting tough " frightenedsss! " he coiled to try to hide himself, though it didn't work to well with his wings floppy about

Rahab eyed Alex as she passed by, then turned back towards Fiona and huffed through his nostrils. "Yeah, yeah... This has been a bumpy 24 hours. Hold up, what spell? What exactly's going on here?" He flew after Fiona and Alex, waiting for an explanation.

Eira stayed on his back, gripping his feathery mane to stay on as she looked about for the scene of the attacks. Her heart sank a bit at the sight of the smoke rising from the city. //We need to figure this out and get there quick... People need our elp.//

"What is power?" Hiiro repeats, his ears pinning back, and not just in thought. But how uneasy the darkness was and how the whole place seemed to be watching him. He didn't want to know what else lurked in the darkness, what else he couldn't see or hear.

"Power is being able to destroy what's in your path without hesitation" Hiiro thought back to the other night, sparing Crimson and Eater, whining like a hatchling in Crimson's trap. It pricked at his ego. His tail lashed with frustration. "I'm sick of feeling emotions and hesitation, sick of others looking at me - or avoiding looking at me - because I'm nothing but a monster in their eyes"

A deep growl rumbled from his chest as his eyes glowed bright red, "I'll show them a real monster, they want a bad guy, they want an evil Hiiro? A reason to justifiably try and kill me?" he snarled, "I'll give them one as Destruction"

(Hi all! Sorry I'm late, lotsa stuff going on and all. Hope yall are doing well! x3)

"No no, it's ok, it's ok... I'm not going to hurt you," Purity quickly but quietly coos to the snake, carefully flattening out the ends of her ribbons to try and make it a little easier and safer to hold him. She slowly pulls them back to her, cradling the snake close to her lantern. "I don't want to hurt you, you've already been hurt enough... I just wish I could help you..." she says, cautiously moving one end of one ribbon to pet the snake's head.

Boreas had been listening in to the conversation at hand, quietly discussing things with Jasmine off and on... They'd both gotten drinks, and he'd also taken a moment to request something to eat too.

He had acquired a biscuit, which he had the last mouth-full of when Eater asked him his favor. The Captain paused, held up one finger, and made sure he wouldn't speak while eating.
"Of course I'll go with you--that's part of my job..." He studied Eater's expression, though his nervous smile didn't stop him from rather bluntly addressing something, "You're well and truly set on going? I'd personally advise against that...
You do know, if we go out there, and you lose it... I'm not going to show mercy."

The snake didn't make any attempt to fight against the Dreamer, he just curled up in a ball in her Ribbons " lightsssss..." he hiss quietly closing the eye closet to Purity lantern but he didn't pull away from her petting him, in fact he seem to relax.

With the snake finally relaxing in her ribbons, and not showing any signs of hostility, Purity finally lets herself sit down on the sand and breathes out a sigh. "... I really hate corruption..." she mutters, looking down at the feathered snake, "It always is like this, forcing a person or even just animals to turn into evil things, and it's always so painful.." With tears beginning to form in her eyes, she carefully uses a little bit of her water magic to try to gently wash the snake. "It's just like what happened with Weaver..."

Dreamcatcher had to think back on what happened at the last temple which made him grimaced, nothing seem to have went right there, he wasn't even sure what happened to everyone else for the time he was captured " oh... im sorry about that but I'm glad you kinda got it back? " he made a goofy unsure face

He then looked over to Terradream and nodded " im good, I was given -" he pause as he Reach in and dug around in his pocket, in a moment he pulled out his bracelet " this, I tested it out already " he then was wondering if he should put it on now or not

Jasmine was munching on a biscuit as well, she eye the Nightmare as he asked his request " I don't think you going out would be a good idea, Dreamer in you or not, your still a Nightmare and we don't need more problems " she growled and then took a sip of her tea

Just then one of the kitchen doors versus kicked open and Jason who was completely decked out in armor and weapons shouted " guys! The City under attack! " he holds up a battle " its all good, I brought holy water! "
Anna was holding Gorly hand as she flew up off of Jason head " Catch! We came as soon as we could!"
Jason then blink and took notice how there was even more people now in the room " Hey everyone! Hey its the prince of Dreams and Purple Nightmare guy! " he then pointed to Boreas " hay a new guy! Cool! " he then pointed to Jasmine and said with a goofy face " mouthy still here" he then looked to Crystal " Hi Freckles! " he then pointed out the door " the city under attack"

The Duchess place her hands together, she was pleased with Hiiro's answer " exactly, emotions of sympathy, compassion are all flaws that make you weak however I know of the cure to your sickness..." she came before two large fancy doors which seem to open on their own.

The Duchess walk further into the room and claps her hands, the room lights up with a borderline of unnaturally red red flames, the room much different then the rest, dark runes were engraved everywhere, blood stane the floor, walls and ceilings, as there was a place for obvious sacrifices...
" come into the Center Destruction so I may grant you the first blessing " wave a hand to the place she wanted him to be, the ceiling was high and look like claws curling inward as if pointed down in the spot to grab whatever came within their reach

Hiiro walked on in silence, listening to the Duchess as he followed her into the room.

He only stopped for a few moments, swiveling his head to take it all in. Then he walked forward, right into the center.

The snake didn't understand the Dreamer but didn't do anything other then just sit there,letting her pet him, it wasn't until she started to wash him that he hiss " wetsss " but he didn't try getting away.

the voice who help her before whispered "... I'm sorry...."

"There's A LOT, and still more that we've gotta figure out! But Terra and I got info from the Queen's butler that Malice used a spell that affects magic things to get Void's evil-shadow-minion-things out of hiding! It's making 'em go crazy!" Fiona paused, not really knowing who out of all of that Rahab would know--on the other hand, she figured Eira would understand. "/All/ magic things get affected by that spell! It's not safe to go without protection!" She reached into her hair and pulled out the cookie she had, "I've... Only got one more of these, but Osiris said these would protect whoever ate 'em!"

"... I wish I could just wash all the darkness and pain away..." Purity whispers, tears starting to run down her face and blur her vision, though she's still careful with the snake and her bubbly water magic. "Or at least even wash some of it away, I just wish I could help someone, anybody, even a little..."

After a slight pause, she closes her eyes and thinks a little more, then asks in a sympathetic tone, "Why're you sorry...?"

For a moment the girl watched Eater walk off towards Boreas and Jasmine, but soon turned her eyes back to the two in front of her. Crystal then shook her head, giving Dreamcatcher a kind and understanding look when he apologized, “It’s okay, I’m glad I ‘kinda’ have it back too,” she said with a little smile, going quiet to let Catch and Terra talk.
When one of the kitchen doors suddenly bust open, Crystal flinched, raising her hands and arms up by her face and head out of reflex. Upon seeing and hearing who it was though, she let out a breath and lowered her arms.

Crystal watched Anna for a moment, spotting Glory too and wondering how both of them were doing, then looked back at Jason as he greeted everyone. She raised her eyebrows in surprise when he called her ‘Freckles’, only to then give an awkward smile and wave in return. “We know about the attack,” she said with a little nod, “we were actually just getting ready to go check it out..”

Rahab and Eira listened to Fiona as she explained what was going on. Rahab had questions about who everyone was, but he knew that now was not the time to ask, so he stayed quiet and gave an affirmative nod.
Eira reached out and accepted the cookie from Fiona. "Enchanted food? Is there any way we can split this in two so both of us can have the protection?" she asked Fiona, hoping they could save time and magic items hat way.

"Uh... You could break it in half!" Fiona suggested, but she couldn't help but furrow her brow, "...I dunno if that would make it less effective--I didn't ask Osiris, but... I think it'd work!"
//Man, I should've grabbed more than two...//

The Elemental glanced to Alex, then to the chaos going on in the city ahead... //But either way... We're... We're gonna help people... And we're gonna stay safe, too!// Then she remembered something, "Oh yeah! He gave me a thing for a disguise too! So if you guys have those, we should probably use 'em!!" She once again reached back into her hair and pulled out the ring.

Immediately dropping the smile he had, Dreameater feels a chill run down his spine with Boreas' words. "I'd hope--..." he starts to quietly reply, but stops himself with a grimace. //"I'd hope you wouldn't"!? Why wouldn't I want him to spare me!? That must be Weaver!!// he thinks, then glares over at Jasmine, "That doesn't--!"
... Again, he stops himself, his glare turning into a mess of emotions--anger, frustration, understanding, nervousness... //Now's not a time to snap at her about being possessed, focus, focus, /please/ for Moons' sake...//

Finally, he covers the right side of his face with one hand and looks back to the Captain. "... So maybe this isn't the best idea I've ever had..." Eater half mumbles, half growls, "But I don't want to just sit around and do nothing, not with everything that's going on...! I--I'll get something to eat first before I go out there, that'll help some, right...?" He goes quiet for a moment before adding, "... Either way, I know I can trust you... Right, Captain...?"

Terradream takes mental note of the fact that Dreamcatcher already has something for a disguise, then sits there a moment longer. //... I guess... That's that, then... I can go over to the Captain now, Sparky...?// he asks his Fairfin, only glancing over at Jason and not paying him much mind.

//Yup yup, I'd say ya can,// Sparky casually answers, then looks over and grins at his fellow Fairfin. "Hello, Anna! Hello, Glory!" he calls with a wave.

Hope flies over to Catch as well, still holding Rihanna's hand, and smiles at him, briefly landing on the prince's head for a moment. "Me and Anna are here now... We're gonna look after you boys..." she warmly teases, though she still sounds rather sick. She perks up some again when she hears Sparky, and simply calls back, "Hi Sparky...!"

" and let the ceremony begin~" The Duchess ring the bell and this time Hiiro could see the slaves come out of smooth black like mirrors, that could have been mistaken as Shadows on the walls, however these slaves were different from before, they had nicer black and red clothes, some of them looked has different Shades of Darker color skin, much like the Duchess and the Emperor, and much like then they had others similar features some had glowing eyes, some had hangs that can barely be seen, some of the females had horns as some of the males had scales on the side of their face but /all/ of them looked like their ears had been clicked off, at least most of the ears, there was only enough to hold two earrings... one had a black loop with a red symbol of Soledormirs..." though there blood is not pure, they are still blessed by our gods "
The Emperor Watched as the doors closed...for here I'm not going to say what happens next with Hiiro but it isn't good

The Emperor turned into a shadowy mist and drifted down the long hallway

Boreas just watched Eater with an un-changing, stern look, even as he struggled with his response... That is, until Jason came into the room. He raised an eyebrow and the faintest of smirks appeared on his face, hearing Jason's greetings. //Heh. Another wild new face and some familiar ones to boot.// He raised one hand slightly in response to being referred to via pun... But then went right back to staring at Eater.

"...Yes. I'll do everything in my power to look after those who need it--inside and outside of this group. You have a Captain's word on that." His tone wasn't quite as blunt as earlier... There was an air of sincerity and care.
"...But you know where I stand. Even if I'm getting the hunch that you won't accept no for an answer. /This is a massive risk for everyone involved./"

Rahab shrugged in response to Fiona. "With what time we have, we probably just have to try it and trust it."

Eira broke the cookie in half and tossed a part to Rahab, which he snapped out of the air. "Fingers crossed we'll be fine... Thank you, Fiona, for informing us and helping us. Are you ready to go?" She said as she pulled out her disguise bracelet and put it on. The icy spikes on her shoulder and head vanished, and her clothes changed to something more fitting for the city's environment. She didn't want to stand out too much if she could help it, and disguises would make things a bit easier overall.

Rahab, however, scowled. "Disguises? Nah. I'm not here to be subtle - I'm here to save people. The city's erupted in chaos anyway - another weird sight like a big bird isn't gonna change things," he insisted, dipping out of his hover and heading towards the smoking city.

"....I....I feel I am responsible...but I don't know why " the voice replies carrying the uncertainties in his tone.
The snake squirmed in Purity ribbons but he wasn't hostel, even though he started to nip at the bubbles

"...for your pain...I just felt I should say sorry...."

"I don't know why you'd feel responsible, you didn't do this," Purity replies, feeling bad for the strange yet familiar voice she hears, "At least I don't think you did... You helped me get away from that shark monster thing in the sea, and you seem like you're nice, you're not like... Whoever it was that was pretending to be Crimson..."

Admittedly, there is a deep well of pain in her heart from everything she's endured, but she doesn't want to dive into that with someone else who sounds hurt as well...

After another slight pause, Purity asks, "Who are you, by the way? If you don't mind me asking...?"

Fiona looked back and held up her left hand with her fingers crossed. Then she managed a little grin--hearing that she'd actually helped out made her feel a burst of happiness. "Sure thing!

A brief look of wonder came across her face as she saw Eira's appearance change... Though, Rahab's comments made her frown a little--but she knew they did need to save people. Still, as she flew along with the two of them towards the city, she took her ring and slipped it onto her left pointer finger...
In an instant her appearance shifted, and she wasn't blue anymore. She looked human. Her armor became a deep blue and silver jacket, her war-maiden tiara-headband of protection from Texas disappeared, and the rest of her outfit changed to almost more of a biker-style.
Her cloudy hair had become... A very unnaturally long mess of regular dark brown hair.

She was still flying, which may have kind of defeated the purpose of a disguise for that moment...
But she didn't really question that, or even take time to check out her new look--she was focused on getting to where they needed to be.
