Help wanted! by KSketchesNstuff

Starters: I am NOT taking requests!!

As you can probably gather, I have absolutely no ideas on what to draw, and I haven't for the better half of a year.
Just wondering what types of things YOU personally like to see from me! :)
Fan art? OCs? Pairings? Comics?
There's no wrong answer - I just might get a smudge of inspiration if I know what's gonna fly or flop. It's mostly been flops xD

Your input as a follower or friend of mine is greatly appreciated! :)

Personally, I LOVE anything that you draw! :D I can't really think of something you might be able to draw exactly, but I can try and give you some ideas to hopefully get those creative juices flowing again!

-Read folklore/folktales and try to twist/ make a new ending to it or a character design. They're pretty simple and straight to the point, and you can watch them on youtube. (my fav. channel on Yt for this is: Hungarian Folk Tales)

Listening to music that creates ambiance might helps
-Andrain Von Ziegler and BrunuVille make nice music on youtube. Check out Ziegler's celtic music, which brings you to an entirely new era
-Professional Composers for classical music: Abel Korzeniowski, Hans Zimmer, Matt Ritcher

Drawing personifications help out!
-You draw anger or digust, whatever emotion emotion you want.

Speaking of personifications and emotions, TAKE IT UP A NOTCH! Check out "The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows".It's online for free and has fictional words for feelings that we all experience but don't have real words to describe it with.
Examples:
Avenoir: the desire that a memory can flow backwards
lilo: a friendship that les dormant for years only to pick up as if no time as passed
paro (there's a little ^ over the a): the feeling that no matter what you do is wrong

-Greek Mythology, aka inspiration jackpot!

Lookat some clothing around your room and draw what they would look like as a person or cat. Give it a story too if you want. (this is easy to do if the article of clothing has something distinguishing about it!)

Have you tried maybe doing a different art techniques? Lineless art, hatching, maybe trying to draw in a famous art style (ex. calarts, Tim Burton, Dr. Seuss, ect.)

If you're into writing, you can make an image poem! Look it up to see what I mean ^^

Though, please consider the fact that you said you haven't been able to come up with what to draw for half the year. There might be not a lot of things to be inspired by with what's happening in the world right now. Or, you might be creatively burned out need to rest and take a break, draw doodles, and do nothing too big.

Have no ideas, but motivation to draw is a bummer, so I feel for you qnq.
Hope this helped, gn!

Hey girl. I, too, enjoy whatever you draw but I suppose I can give you some ideas on how I get inspiration to draw.
Comics of rl scenarios: I'm sure everyone has done this at one point, but taking inspiration from things that have happened to you in person really helps me out when I can't think of anything to draw. It can literally be anything. Usually, I try to go for the most random or the more funny side of those things but yeah lol enjoyable and fun to draw!
Drawing rarely drawn OCs: Everyone has those select few drawings of characters you barely draw. What better way to get inspiration than to draw them? Whenever I get bored, I tend to draw the OCs I haven't drawn in forever first before anything else.
Music: Someone already mentioned this, but different musics can give you ideas, too. I'm not good at listing music with lyrics all that much but I do love me some video game music XD

Nostalgia: Anything that brings you back to your childhood or a memory you've had in the past is always a great inspiration for artwork. I do this ever once in a while or just whenever I feel like it and I always enjoy it. That also can be a huge variety to choose from. Once again, I hope this helps. I haven't drawn that much lately, either. Your drawings are always very enjoyable matter what it is. So take your time and if you need break, please take one. Don't force yourself to draw, Sio. You got this! Nn

I always encourage still life, landscapes, realistic portraits, etc. Doesn't hurt to mix them in.
