Here's a manticore design for @ShadowPikaboo, as part of a design/art trade! The world needs more #manticore!!
This manticore's design is a mix of a gargoyle and the Foo Dog (Chinese Guardian Lions). Foo dogs are made of stone or copper and keep watch over palaces or tombs.

Fade! It's good to see your art again! I like the pose. It really hammers in the direction you were going with the gargoyle/ foo dog design! The shading also makes him look like he's made of a smoother, harder material. I really like this design :0!

This is such a neat concept too! Foo Dogs are really cool, but you don't see a whole lot of 'em! (At least, I don't) XD

I love all the swirls on this guy, and he's got a BELL!
...That's a cute touch on a tough design, and I like that too. XD
