i've temporarily called him "blue"
because only chads have their name just being a general description of their appearances

i also already got a name for the "secret" third version of whip but i'll take whippersnapper as a suggestion lol

@plainwaffle yeah his evolution line is special in that each version can be used solo
whip is flimsy, but speedy, with huge attack power
whop is a chonk, with his benefits being high HP, defense/sp.defense, and moderate special attack- with almost zero base speed
???, whip's third evolution, is more elegant, sporting more defense than whip 1, but slightly less speed
it uses significantly more gimmicks to make up for its lost attack power from the previous two forms

all of whip's forms are normal/psychic type
i'm making a pokemon fan game NOW

@plainwaffle yeah it's the painkillers and antibiotics i'm taking to keep my mouth from realizing that it's missing four entire teeth and my strange liking for having whip just be a being with several forms for no reason
i wrote and came up that all in like five minutes lol
it's also because i'm a diehard pokemon fan and i love coming up with weird movesets that somehow work
so the thought of being able to create like my own evolution lines got me all poggers emoji

@plainwaffle yeahhh it hurt like balls for the beginning of the day but now it only hurts a little like balls
also since it's paint it should be like poison ground or poison water yeah
i don't really like poison water as a typing it seems pretty cringe but it would work as a paint typing
if i were to make a pokemon fan game it would be like 16-bit and have three new typings like "sound" typing and stuff

if so then it definitely would need to be like a poison water type and be completely see-through

i'm glad all the homies who like guys approve of my effort to make my first ever cool/hot guy character lol
i usually never do it because a lot of my proportions and character personalities are affected by my inherent nerdiness and lack of style
so i'm glad it worked
