Ray visits his old childhood home and thinks about his past and all the things that could have been.
Since Ray was born, he was afflicted with a strange curse that manifested as a vine-like pattern on his left arm. His body was tainted with a powerful fraction of the evil goddess Amana. His uncle Aster tried to protect him from those who want to perform a deadly ritual on him in order to revive the goddess.
