For this coming year 2021 I'm gonna to try and take it easy, 2020 was very rough both in my personal life and on line life.

My personal goal this coming year is a few things.
First I want to draw at least one picture of my adopted kids this year, if its a ref or art, art. Its a big goal but I love my kids and I want to show them that

Other goal is I want to work on my own characters and species, I have so much catching up on with lore and wanted art

I do plan on hosting a few fun events off and on, I have in mind on some months hosting 30 day challenges, egg additions, art and design trades, etc...So stay tuned for that!

My other goal is to finish all the owed art and trades I got going, im slowly getting them work on! My pile is now at least manageable x'D
If I owe you something I am working on it!

A big update is, im sure you can see by this picture that it was done on a PC

I just recently was given my very first computer by an amazing cousin of mine.

After chatting my cousin was surprised that I was still doing art on a 3DS, so he took it upon himself to upgrade me x'D

He took a 10 year old gaming pc and fixed it up and got it up to speed for what I need, he even got Photoshop and illustrate for it, along with a handful of games.

He surprised The Living Daylights out of me x'D
I spent a few days crying just because I was so happy and honored that he did all this for me.

Frank ( that the name i gave my pc ) is still old but he going to be something me and my cousin will work on upgrading off and on, but for now Frank is perfect for me x3

My cousin only request in doing all this for me is that I use Frank to draw and grow in the digital art field.
With the sales going on right now I got myself a GAOMON M10K graphic tablet, I do want to get one of those fancy ones were your picture show up on the tablet to, just like the DS but that have to later goal

I also got me clip studio on sale to and like that a bit more then Photoshop

I haven't made any, art, art yet, I been busy with a lot of other things and am still trying to adapt to a PC ( it hard )

I will be posting anything I do on my Instagram account @/ Flashy_death

But don't freak out that I'm leaving or anything! Colors is my home and I still much prefer drawing on my DS then anything else, im even thinking about getting a new or fixed up one for my Bday just because mine is real old and getting broken.

I do have my Switch to, I haven't got to much time to play around with Colors on it yet, my brother keeps boring it to trade pokemon -.-
But! I do tend to practice on the Switch to! So im not going anywhere ^-^

And that's great that you were given a computer! Learning to draw on a tablet is challenging, it'll probably take you a while to get used to it, but I'll be sure to check out your Instagram if you post anything.

Clip Studio Paint is my go to art program! I'm sure you'll love it once you get used to it :)

Aww, I'm gonna miss Species of the Month but wow was it a fun while it lasted! It had a good run ^^
I'm sorry 2020 was so rough, it's been hard on all of us. Feel free to take 2021 at whatever pace you'd like to, you work super hard and everyone needs a break sometimes <3

Congrats with the new computer!! Thats exciting!! I also hope you're feeling better, I know this year has been hard on a lot of people.

Changing topic, I don't want to be mean/demanding for asking this, but I never got my prize from your first contest... If it's too much trouble I understand!! I just want to know what's going on with that. Again, if it adds too much stress to your plate, forget about it, I just wanted to touch base on that.

Congrats on the new PC! Clip Studio is what I use for my PC art, it's really great.
Next time Species Of The Month takes place, it may be nice if votes were reset for all species, kind of like a fresh start. That would give smaller artists a bigger chance of being featured.
