Navy was often a quiet, studious child. She didn't want to 'hangout' but rather read and reflect. Her semblance made it hard to interact, as she can see the dead. Often ostracized, she never shares her power. She pursues the job as a huntress because of her competitiveness and mentality.

Her parents believed the harshness of Vacuo would torment their children, they then move to menagerie although it has a reputation of being small. Navy has 2 siblings, leaving her to be the youngest (17). She can often be found in a library or outside taking a break from... Well, people. Being a faunus wasn't really in the way of her life much like her semblance was (She's an african wild dog).
Oh, and she is very much influenced from the works of Edgar Allen Poe.
