Your welcome, and I see that you based them on star signs. So, let's start out with the type of feel that you want from them. Are they supposed to be ancient, from the present, or the future?

@0Pama0 Future! I got at least that for sure: I can see them in a futuristic setting, with hologram devices, crazy looking weapons and refering to our time as "ancient"!

I'm going to help you by asking you questions while we weave in your questions in the description!
Powers: Do their power come from a source of man-made source? (this is basically technology) or a "before time with unknown origins" source (ex. of this would be a stone, a source like a star in space, maybe a new, profound ekement that was discovered on their planet)

Weapons: Weapons can be chosen in many forms. But before we go into that, you're question, "should they be civilized or barbaric" made me realize you should consider WHY they have them (if they do)
-Are weapons allowed where they're from?
-If not, why do they have?
-And how did they get them?
-Do they have a provider, or do they take them
*If you say TAKE, this could mean the characters themselves MAY BE barbaric, or steal for the greater good.
*If they are GIVEN, then the characters themselves may be viewed in a friendly manner by all or have someone that provides/smuggle them weapons

Honestly this species has a lot of potential!
Starsigns, huh? Definetly use mythical influency!!! It could be amazing!
If it was me, yes I would give them hair. But making their skin in different colors is so clever! Do you remember the gods that appear on disney's Hercules? Each god as an unique color aura along with their unique trait.
Sooo following this example, let's say...
Sagittarius?? Maybe an orange color with their main symbol being their arrow?
Since these are BASED on starsigns let's say you can make them either barbaric or civilized depending on which starsign they descend of? For example libra and gemini descendants could be civilized...
In fact like you said, if the time they are born greatly affects them, this could be the element that determines in which starsign they are based off.
(I'm using my birthday as an example) 29th may! One of the gemini descendants is born!... And so on lol

Thanks, I like your ideas too! The idea of them being from different realms or places really opens up more possibilities of more world's to explore. (Also, I LOVE Hercules, one of my favorite Disney movies. Lost the entire cast of characters too!)

Oh, @Cleric , I have an idea! Building off of XNei_YuiX's idea, do you think maybe their cultures would clash when two beings interact with each other? I don't know alot about star signs, specifically their personalities, but I'm sure some would get along better than others.

Oh, and speaking of personality, whether they're civilized or not... I think some might wear certain clothes based on a belief system or an ideology.

Also, question, considering they are in the future, do humans exist in their timeline, or do they even know about human existence? This goes for any other species... wait, another question: do they all co-exist on one planet?

Thier Powers will have to be technology, as physical combat will be limited to whatever creature the Starsign resembles.

And yes, maybe they could GET barbaric; since weapons are involved. I wanted them in a time of peace, but because the government has overpowered any enemies they might have. Um yeah, they have/take weapons because they are barbaric and maybe only act civilized when they have what they want.

As for the unique trait thing: maybe I'll do symbols rather than the headdress things. As you can see, it was a unicorn horn driven up through whatever they'd have normally (Aries, Taurus and Capricorns all have 3 horns instead of 2.) But birthmarks/symbols would look better and allow for hair. (Though Maybe they'd each have weapons based on their sign's creature? Like they make horns, tails, fangs, ect?)

Like you suggested @XNei_YuiX, maybe Starsigns who're more aggressive would be take positions in the government and army, while the more passive ones would only be there for reason besides conquest and power.
And adding to the births concept: certain signs might be trouble?
For instance: what WOULD Gemini be? They're represented as Twins (Though they're a horse in Asian Zodiac thingy, I think..) Should they always be born in twos? And would they be the one of the few human looking beings, in this world? (I guess Aquarius and Virgo would have to look human, too..) Also forget the typos thing: I only speak English and STILL can't type! xD

And yes @0Pama0 I like this idea, too--the clash of their personalities! It's actually one of the basis for the beings in general: conflicts starts solely based on the stars.
Um.... as for clothes: I DO want that and hair AND fur, but I have no idea what each should wear? Um, this is probably rambling by now..

And yes, humans exist as a old race: of which the Starsigns have built their civilization atop of. Their shapes and technology are all suppose to obviously hinting to Humans being their ancestors. But there's no humans there, (and far less animals--insects--creatures in general)

Oof. Yeah, coming up with a name is hard sometimes, espeically when it sounds like something already exists (which is fine). I was thinking about your originally name idea though, Unistars? May I suggest, "Anu" for the name of a species-- or to put somewhere.

Explaination: i took the part "Uni--" (from Unistars) and thought of the word, "univese". Zodiac Signs come from the Babylonians (I think), so I looked up and saw they believed in a God named Anu who was a personification of the sky/heavens that had something to do with constellations. I was going to suggest making it plural, but, eh XD.

I see what you mean: "Anu" sounds better than Unistars, but I'd need to get rid of the "Unicorn" part of them--the single horns.

Also, I'm still REALLY confused on what to do with the: Aquarius, Gemini, Virgo and Libras. The Anu look like each starsign, and the ones I just mentiined straight up look human and like a balance thing: the others look like a humanoid version of their starsign with shell or fur (depending on their time of birth) but should the others discolored humans or something more original looking?

Well that's an interesting question o-o
I guess the gemini depends on how rare they are? Like maybe they are necessarily born in that time of the year, but their powers are parted between the two twins, and they need eachother to be completely strong, functioning as just one being?
Also since they are part of the future they don't necessarily need to look 'human'. They can just be a representation of what they mean.
@0Pama0 I love that concept. This is why i said Cleric needs to look for mythology! There are a lot of good references that he can add to the species. And having a little backstory like the one you created is amazing o_o

@XNei_YuiX Maybe I'll do what I did in another story: Gemini will look like whatever Starsign/time they're born closer to. For instance, if they're born closer to Leo, they'll look more so Lion-like and be attracted to/stronger with others born around that time.

@0Pama0 I did a quick look at Anu, and decided since I now know a little more, maybe instead of naming them directly after the god; I'll use anûtu, a word I think expresses that they come from him--the heavens--the stars.
I'm going to have to redesign them, now though.... Thanks for all the help so far, both of you! I knew you were the right people to ask!
