Valiant is a Heaven's Blade ranking Shadow Hunter, though he wasn't always from Crestlydora. Originally from the half-moon-shaped continent of Mūnbaransu, he met Joy when he was still a Royal Paladin rank, after one of his missions left him heavily wounded, and she nursed him back to health. The two continued working together afterwards, eventually marrying and working as a couple. Valiant has kept up his work as a Shadow Hunter even after Joy retired. He has a male Dawn Fairfin named Dash.

Valiant is an Elemental class Dreamer, specializing in explosive fire magic. He has one alternate form, a human form, and has no summoning magic, not even being able to summon clothes.

Valiant was always a huge inspiration for Weaver, he wanted to be just like his dad growing up, and whenever Valiant and Weaver went out anywhere, the little fawn would hold his head up high and walk proudly next to his father. Even now, he still has the utmost respect for his dad, and considers him the coolest dad ever.
