His curiousity burning, he disguised a camera in the brushto observe them. Everyday, he'd watch and observe them. Though he wanted to have one, he couldn't bring himself to catch one. ( Plus trapping Dandipuffs is mean. :c ) So.. He decided to build one. Using the data he got from observing them, he began to pour his heart and soul into what could be his greatest project of all..!

Finally after full year, he created the first ever RoboPuff! ( cont. )

Nicknamed 'Tin', the builder sent him out to interact with the herd. Watching through his camera, he observed them.
The Dandpuffs thought it was a gray-colored one of them, and hopped over. Tin beeped happily, hopping in excitement, which in turn made the others relax a bit. They played for all day, and Tin learned more about the ones he moddled after. Eventually he headed for home to his creator, who was overjoyed at his success.

Everyday Tin would help the builder with tasks around the house, and then be allowed to play with the Dandipuff herd. ( cont. )

Eventually however, the builder passed away, leaving Tin alone. But not before leaving a final message:

-Tin, you are my greatest creation.
I'm sorry I couldn't stay with you forever. I have.. ceased function. But you shall live on. My final message to you is this:
Find happiness. Bring joy to others as you have brought joy to me-

Tin was sort of sad, or he thought he was. ..No, he was sad. .o. He left to find the herd, but they had moved on.
He truly was alone, now. ( cont. )

Or so he thought. :o

As he relived memories from his archive in sleepmode, he recalled seeing the blueprint used to create him. Maybe.. maybe he could create his own herd?

And so, copying the process, and downloading behavior from the different puffs, Tin created his own herd. Each with their own personalities. They were small group, and didn't know much about the world. But as long as they were together, they'd be ok. :) ( cont. )

RoboPuffs are smooth round metal spheres. They don't really need to eat to stay functional. They're water proof, able to explore underwater with ease.

They also are equipped with some small gadgets to help with construction. But most notably, each has a special laser gun for self-defense. .-.

They have a 'Puff Mode' that enables them grow out really soft fur. It's artificial, so it can be destroyed. ( cont. )

They communicate by mostly 'beeps' and 'boops'. They usually keep to themselves, but they don't mind company. ^-^

If you want one to follow you, just show it kindness. They have it registered in memory, and respond well. Just... don't betray their trust. :'c

That's so cute and sad at the same time *grabs a hanky*, I need to protect these masterpieces. I want to bring all of these cuties back to the house with me all thanks to that story alone, I can't have them separated after knowing what Tin went through.

these robo puffs are real cute!! xD i'm sure they would make great house guards and protect your home from burgalers! :P

I want to add them to my army, but also, I kinda just wanna leave them be in peace. I will visit & bring them robo-treats, but I won't bother them too much...
Unless joining a giant pack of all the kinds of Puffs would be a dream-come-true for them, in which case, JOIN MY ARMY! Hahahah! x'D

@ShihouxAdventure Aw, don't be sad. Everything's ok now, Tin's happy! :D And he's got his own friends now!
I'm sure they'd like to get to know the world, they only live in the builder's laboratory. :P

Well, they only know the builder's laboratory, so they'd like to see the other places, too! And normal Puffs like em', so they'll fit in with your army. As well as bring loads of firepower! *^*)b

I was just looking through all the different kinds of Dandipuffs when I found these guys. Then I had a thought of how to weaponize them. Just hook up a bomb to one of these lil' tykes, have it infiltrate the enemy base and you'd be able to take them by surprise by having the unsuspected Robo-Puff go BOOM! Effectively neutralizing the threat without casualty.

@LooneyWizard You COULD techinically do that with them. But these guys were designed to look and behave like an actual Dandipuff.

And Dandipuffs don't normally want to hurt anyone, just be your friend if they can. <3 Would you really want send one for covert operations such as that? :C
