maybe it comes from the fact that benrey's actual weird forms in the finale dont actually make any god da.mn sense/arent super monstery either, so ppl decide to go a simpler/less confusing route and add lotsa eyes for a different aesthetic
tbh tho i do wanna see how people take the weird benrey stuff literally wyen drawing, i only saw like one artist's youtube speedpaints doing that and thats kinda it
