@PoodleKingdom Thanks for the words of encouragement. But it's not that I'm not inspired, per se, it's more like...I dunno. Like I lost my passion to learn and create. I think I need to find a new hobby, maybe.

Sorry to be such a downer. But I've felt this way for a long time, so at least it's good to have a friend to let it out to. I appreciate it.

@Mewsea Hmmmm . . .I think I had a problem like that a long time ago. Ya feel like there is a heavyweight on you and the mind starts to slow way down.

that's ok, at least your honest with yourself, you never want to force yourself to do something that doesn't feel fun anymore, it just ends up feeling like a chore or a tedious job you just don't want to do. :/ you may speak to your heart's content and I'll lend an ear! :D I'm not the best advice giver but I'll throw in my two cents about what I think. just relax and try doing something else and see what you think. ^ w ^ urrrr . . I've felt this way for a long time now, so it couldn't be your fault anyway.

And don't worry - I don't plan to give up on my art. I just know that, currently, it's not bringing me any joy.

Maybe it's because I know I'm using it as a way to escape from my everyday life? Depressing, I know, but at least I'm not denying it.

I was the same way as you so that's why I decided to quit Colors when I was using my old account.
But then my best friend here on Colors gave me strength to create a new account and didn't gave up on cheering me up for me to continue drawing.
Now with her help I understood that you must have fun when making a drawing so that's why I created my own OC to start drawing things that makes me happy or a funny idea that I came up with.
This drawing is an example because when you start creating it you had an funny idea with the Pokémon's and started drawing it :)

I understand the pain of drawing backgrounds. They are very daunting tasks! But I still love what you did do, and even if you consider it unfinished. So much so that I'm reconsidering if I should do the same instead of scrapping.
