my dog's getting put down soon.
he's 17, and can barely walk without falling.
we don't know when yet, but it's soon.
i'm going to miss him.

You could get some clay and have him step on it to have a paw print you can keep with you. Its what we did with my step dads dog.

Oh no D: my condolences, I’m sorry that this had to happen but at least he will be able to roam freely while watching over you, I had to put down my German shepherd two years ago during spring break it’s hard to lose a family member/best friend

So sorry for you. My dog's passing earlier this year was pretty hard on me too.
