i have like the characters where i don't make them for a purpose and then the characters where i do
and the ones that i make just because i can always end up being my best ones (like starla) because i made them for fun and not just because i wanted them for a specific role
like if i have no ideas in my head and i barf on a paper i get the best characters ever but if i /try/ at making a character it sucks

my best characters come from me playing with character creators in games or staring at something like the floor or a tree long enough until i see something like a face
