"The Darkness"

"Before God created our world, our universe there lived a creature born and made of complete darkness. It ruled over everything. The dark creature hungered for all, wanting to consume every last bit of life and light.

After many, many years of shrouding everything in nothing but darkness the two entities fought. The battle raged for eons, until God was victorious. The dark creature was sealed away, never to see the light it so hungered for ever again. It is said that it still waits, patiently awaiting it's moment to strike again."
