A passage from the Book of Ethos Legends, Myths and Gods.

"It is said after the creation of the world the God made both the sun and moon, and with them came the guardians. These two Gods were made..created to protect both the sun and moon, to keep them both spinning. They make the sun rise and fall, change the phases of the moon. To the God these two were like their children, they would protect them no matter the cost. Their names were simply The Lady and The Baron.
Unlike the God whom is all powerful their magic is limited, but still quite powerful. Some call these two brother and sister as they were made at the same time, others call them rivals. Some look to them for wisdom and power while some lesser creatures envy them. Even the powerful Elementals envy their power and even seek to keep it for themselves."
