I'll repost the last comments in a minute, but I'm also going to make some slight edits to my last comment from before.
I typed it in too much of a hurry last week.

{With everyone aboard, Dianne takes flight, followed by her minions. She heads straight for the mountains.}

Luxia sat quite comfortably on Dianne's back, not at all concerned with being so high off the ground. 'Isn't this fun, Loopy?' she cackled. 'Don't you wish you could fly like a bird, too?'

Back in the village, the blue-haired man stood just inside the wall of flowers, watching the winged shapes approaching through the fiery sky.

//Who are they?// The question frustrated him, yet it awoke so many exciting possibilities. //Clearly not exiles, stripped of their magic. They fought off the voidspawn with ease, and some of those fire blasts were definitely magical.//

He turned to address a guard standing nearby. 'Roald! Those people who showed up earlier. Did they mention that anyone else would be coming?'

'I think I overheard them talking about some others,' the guard replied. 'Maybe friends, who also got lost here with them. I expect the second group will want lodgings, too...'

Octavius looked back at the approaching shapes, unsure what to think.

//If these people are powerful enough to fight off the voidspawn like that... could they open a portal back to Aether?//

{A few minutes later, Dianne lands at the entrance of the village. Ordering her minions to stay, she waits until everyone was off of her before shifting.}

Dianne: "Ok, our friends are inside. We're just going to get them and leave, ok? Let's not stay here any longer than we have to."

"Yea yea! Just make it quick! I want to get out of here as much of the rest of you" muttered Althea as she toyed with her staff.

Euterpe approached Dianne. "I'm coming, I want to make sure Shepherd's OK".

'In a hurry, are you?' Luxia began to lead the way into the village, through the gap in the wall of flowers. 'Let's go in and see if anyone's around. And Loopy, stop worrying, I'm sure your friend Herd is just fine.'

The village looked relatively empty now; most of the exiles, apart from a couple of guards, had retreated inside. On a fallen log outside one of the guest huts, Loch was sitting silently. She had not gone to bed, but stayed outside to wait for Dianne's return.

{Dianne adresses Euterpe as she walks.}

Dianne: "Ok, let's go. He's fine, Euterpe, you'll see."

{Upon seeing Loch, she speaks up.}

Dianne: "Loch. Where's everyone? We need to leave."

Loch lifted her head. 'Good luck with that - Stal and Pyre are sleeping. I'm not sure about Shepherd. I only stayed outside to make sure you'd be OK coming back.' She glanced at each member of the group in turn. 'Hey, uh... Euterpe. Why are you here?'

Euterpe just sneered and ignored her first question. "You don'tknow where he is? Great, perfect, fantastic! But what would I expect from you anyway." Muttered the dragon, her words tho directed at Loch seemed to not quite acknowledge her presence. Instead the came out as more a complaint about Loch.
"Dianne I'm going to start looking for Shepherd." Grumbled Euterpe as she walked past the two towards the village.

Dianne: "Don't go far, Euterpe!"

{She then walks into the hut.}

Dianne: "Stal? Pyre?"

{Stellarus, feeling bored, decides to follow Euterpe in her search for Shepherd.}

Loch watched with an expression of slight confusion as Euterpe walked away, unsure why the dragon seemed to dislike her so much. Then her head snapped around when Dianne walked into the hut. 'Hey, you can't just barge in there--'

Inside the hut was Stal. He was standing motionless beside the bed, his posture oddly rigid. The blue glow from his eyes had dimmed and his chest orb was only glowing faintly. He appeared to be in an inactive state, similar to sleeping but not quite... right.

(I guess he either went into a hut to sleep, or he wandered off somewhere. XD)

{Dianne comepletely ignores Loch, walking right in. Dianne looks at Stal, not getting any closer.}

Dianne: "Stal? Stal!"

A sudden growling noise came from deep in Stal's throat. With a shuddering motion, his posture loosened and the blue radiance returned to his eyes. The first thing he saw was Dianne standing in front of him. He lowered his head and scowled at her, unimpressed.

'Oh, you actually came back, did you? Was starting to think you'd done a runner. So, what's your genius plan for getting us all out of here?' he scoffed.

Shepherd hadn't even noticed that the group had arrived. And he certainly didn't intend to stick around outside. But finding a tent proved hard. It's not like he could just waltz into one.

So the boy kept snooping around and peeping inside tents. Most of the time he was recieved with hostility people would yell a TV him to get put or get lost so often times he found himself bolting across the village as if had suddenly switched personalities with Marco.

After awhile he gave up and hid himself between walls of two huts as he rested. Though you can imagine trying to find comfort there would be almost impossible.
Marco however seemed to behaving like a fairly normal pet fir once. The dog who was once energetic and jumpy now seemed tired and drowsy. The mutt had even curled himself beside Shepherd as he began to fall asleep. In that sense, Shepherd had comfort, even if it was only a little.

Dianne: "There's a portal, Stal. A /permanent/ one. Now get your /sh!t/ together and let's go! Where's Pyre?"

(Hmmm my comment I suppose I'm hinting at Octavius to interact? But honestly anyone can respond to Shep's comment, general is fine x'D )

Althea watched as Stella stalked away with Euterpe. "Uh Stacy was it? We're suppose to wait here!"

The elf then leaned towards Luxia and whispered. "Ok between you and me if they aren't back by a certain time can we agree to leave them all behind?)

'I dunno, sleeping probably,' Stal growled. 'I don't even know which damned hut he's in.' He hunched his neck into his shoulders, his tense posture suddenly collapsing into weariness. 'Dammit. I want to go home. You'd better not be screwing with me.'

Luxia put on a devilish grin at Althea's words. 'Of course, Ginger. But let's give them a reasonable amount of time to get their shit together.'

Dianne: "I know, Stal, that's why I'm here. You want to get out of here? Just do what I say and keep. your. mouth. shut. Got it?"

{Not waiting for a reply, she walks out of the hut to find Pyre.}

While Dianne entered Stal's hut, the blue-haired man was lurking in the shadows between two other huts, keeping to himself - though he was paying close attention to all of the new arrivals.

//What are they up to? I'm sure I heard that red-eyed woman mention needing to leave. Does that mean they /do/ have a way out of Beyond?//

As they left, Loch - who was still waiting outside - eyed them worriedly, but for once, kept her mouth shut.

{As Shepherd sat there, Stellarus caught sight of him. Approaching him, she kneels in front of him.}

Stellarus: "Shepherd? What are you doing here, all alone? Why aren't you with the others?"

(I might make Eu run into Stal's hut, I like making Stal angry lol )

(Stal left his hut, he was following Dianne to go find Pyre. XD

One of the huts Dianne entered revealed Pyre, sitting upright on a small bed, gazing at the wall with an empty expression. He turned quickly when he caught her scent.

'Huh? ...Oh, it's you!' he said brightly.

Meanwhile, Stal decided to hang back, standing under a tree outside. He was just as irritated by Dianne's behaviour as she was by his - but deep down, he felt unspeakably relieved that she was here. //Thank the gods... I wanna go home and get away from this freakin' hellhole...//

Shepherd jumped, Stella looked different than before, wings, the glaring eyes. "Stella what happened to you! Were you bit by a vampire! A werewolf? Did a wizard turn you into part bird?!?!"
As Stellarus conversed with Shepherd. Euterpe had completely overlooked where Stella had gone. Infact she hadn't noticed that Stellarus was even following her and proceeded to barge into huts without any consideration of who was inside.

There was a lot of screams and a few guards would then intervene and chase her out. The Dragoness did not go without attitude and proceeded to shriek and hiss like some sort of aggressive bird cat. "AH TAKE A WALK YAH BUNCH OF HAGS"
Scowled the dragoness with sass. She positioned herself as more hostile, though never attempted to cause harm to anyone.

(Euterpe noooo. XD)

(Luxia is right about dragon temperaments, they're so moody x'D )

{She says quickly and hoarsely as she steps into the tent.}

Dianne: "Get your things. We're leaving."

Octavius watched from the shadows as Euterpe barrelled around the village, looking into everyone's huts. The guards were acting wary around the feathered dragon, though made no move to actually attack her. While all of this was going on, Luxia walked off to confront Euterpe.

'What on earth are you doing, Loopy?' she asked, poking Euterpe's shoulder. 'You're acting like a deranged bat, you know.'

Pyre, meanwhile, hastily jumped to his feet. 'Things? What things? I didn't exactly pack for this vacation. And do you really have a way to get us out?' he said as he followed Dianne.

{Stellarus blinks a few times, then, realizing that Shepherd had never seen them like this, laughs a little.}

Stellarus: "Oh, no. This is just me. It's...a long story. Look, Dianne's back and we need to leave. I'll answer any questions you have when we get airborne, but we need to go, ok?"

"SHHH!"

{She scolds.}

Dianne: "Yeah, there's a portal, but we need to keep it quiet."

{She whispers hoarsely.}

The new commotion that had now been coming from the village had caught Althea's attention. "He Graham Cra- HEY" And the elf then began to run after Luxia. "Don't leave me!"

"Watch it!" Snapped Euterpe. One of the guards attacks had come in contact with her. That combined with Luxia's tap on the should caused the dragoness to actual flap her wings more. Sh went airborne for just a moment before come down and colliding into a near by tree that Stal was unfortunately waiting under."

The action in the center of town had caught Shepherd's attention as well. "Oh alright, hey something's going on in the village." He said pointing behind Stella upon closer inspection he then realized. " Is that Euterpe? Wait what are they doing to her!" He said looking both shocked and confused.

'Why do we need to keep it quiet?' Pyre asked with genuine curiosity, clearly not remembering what she'd said earlier. 'Oh, is it because you don't want these villagers to know? I don't like the idea of deliberately leaving them all behind...'

Stellarus: "Um...I'm sure she's ok...Let's just go."

{Turning back, she gently takes Shepherd's hand and tugging him to his feet.}

Stal snarled as Euterpe crashed down nearby, his eyes glowing a bit brighter as he stared at her. 'Oh, you're that weird dragon who Loch got drunk the other day...'

The commotion drew Octavius's attention to the centre of town as well, and just for a moment, his gaze caught Althea running past. He sensed magic radiating from her, yet it felt too strong to be coming from an elf.

//Wait... that staff... Don't tell me that's what I think it is...//

After a moment's consideration, Octavius decided to walk after Althea. The desire to see the staff up close warred off his earlier desire to stay hidden and watch the group from a distance. He cautiously approached Althea, trying to get a look at the staff she was carrying.

Among everything, Luxia just rolled her eyes and huffed out a long sigh. 'Kids these days...'

Dianne: "Because-"

{She stopped abruptly when she saw Euterpe collide with the tree.}

Dianne: "Because...Because these are all prisoners, exiled here for a reason..."

'Oh... yeah... they might've done really bad stuff, huh?' Pyre remarked. He looked up as Euterpe crashed into the tree near Stal, but didn't really dwell on it. 'It's kind of chaotic around here. I guess we should try to gather everyone up...'

//It'll be like herding cats,// he thought, watching everyone running around.

"Hey, HEY! What happened to waiting outside!" Althea said to Luxia, and then proceedef to try and lecture the old woman. Though she was careful to be not as loud as Euterpe had been.
Euterpe ofcourse made another ear piercing shriek as she collided with Stal. Though after seeing who it was she calmed down a little. "If anything SHES the weird one, encouraging others to injest toxic waste!"
Shepherd continues to watch from afar as he followed Stellarus out of the village. "Are you sure? She seems awfully stressed."

(Colors why you smush it together I need my return spaces! )

{Dianne just facepalms, momentarily giving up on gathering everyone.}

Stellarus: 'Well, do you want to talk to her? We can't exactly leave without everyone anyway."

Luxia paid absolutely no attention to Althea. All of a sudden, Octavius approached the pair. The blue-haired elf could hardly keep his eyes off Althea's staff as he spoke up.

'Excuse me. I don't mean to... interrupt... But I want to know where you found that staff,' he said coolly. 'It's important.' //I need to know whether it's actually my old staff... or... just a replica.//

'Toxic waste?' Stal retorted disbelievingly. 'Uh, it's called /alcohol,/ you weirdo. And it's not like the alcohol harmed you, so stop making a fuss about it.'

@Xeno

'I could try to gather everyone together around us, if you like,' Pyre offered. 'Though... my telepathy isn't that great... so it might not even reach everyone... ahaha. I could try, though.'

(I'm probably gonna head off around now. It's getting late here, and I'm not sure I can keep RPing from my DS.)

{Dianne puts her hand down, looking at Pyre.}

Dianne: "Try, please. I want to get out of here..."

As soon as Stella gave permission Shepherd then sprinted towards Stal and Euterpe exited to finally be re-united with his friend.

"OH you saw what it did to her and I don't even remember what it did to me. It's vile poison, enchanted witchcraft!"
Scoffed Euterpe
"Eu!" Called a familiar voice followed by less welcoming barks. Marco torpedoed himself in the dragon and Euterpe yelped and slapped the dog off her chest like he was some sort of bug. Though less ecstatic about seeing Marco her expression immediately changed to something unusual for herself. "Shepherd! You're alright!" Her voice softened and feeling relieved she let out a warm friendly smile.

"Yeah, how did you end up here?" He asked.

While Shepherd and Euterpe began to catch up on events, Althea had grown tired of all the antics that had been happening.

She looked startled when Octavius adressed her. "Hey whose this weirdo." She said whispering to Luxia.
