A very isolated species the Lockjaw rarely have a mandible of their own, so they wear the ones from their prey. Due to this they have a very acidic saliva to help them eat. A pack will wear similar mandibles and those with a higher rank get the better ones. Their snake tails do not eat but are instead how they speak. With their tiny wings they cannot fly but instead use them to intimidate other Lockjaws. Their third eye can see souls so escaping them is futile.
