Stone Roots by Takashishiful
Welcome. This was the first picture that I forced myself to make for August, not having any ideas beforehand. The idea for this picture is that there was a castle built by an ancient long extinct race, but some event caused it to fall into ruin recently. That same event brought some of the stone bricks to life in the form of a golem, who rebuilds the castle, seeing it as it's mother, and protecting it. The picture desperately needed to be in 3D so I rushed some layering stuff, it works.

Sorry I posted this so late, I actually forgot it was Friday and by the time I realized it was Saturday in almost every other timezone (I live on the west coast)
Also please excuse the poor 3D, this was gonna be a 2D picture but I realized it's kind of hard to percieve the depth so I copied the picture to every layer and erased certain things on each layer. The "intensity" of the 3D is low because any higher would cause you to see doubles.

I think you did well on the depth.
I personally find it hard to convey depth
properly.
