These creatures cast no shadow instead they wear in like a mane. They can manipulate it to take any shape. Rare mutations have been observed where the mane is a pure white instead of a shadowy black. They have a glowing horn (Can take many different forms like a straight horn of a split and branching horn) this is to ensure they always have a shadow. Due to its apperance it's believed to be the horse of death.
The soothing light of its horn is said to attract lost souls.
