Eira smiled at what Catch said, nodding in agreement and giving him a smile in return. "We're confident that dhe'll make it, no matter what."

"I appreciate your willingness to help," responded the nurse, turning to sift through tools and objects on the table. "There is not much else to be done now but to watch the Dreamer's condition. I will call you back in for more questioning later if need be," she told them.

Eira dipped her head in gratitude. "Thank you for your help, ma'am." She then glanced to Serenity, giving her a soft smile. "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing well," Serenity cheerfully replies with a smile, and lightly reaches over to pat her sleeping partner's shoulder. "I'm just glad Purity will be taken care of so well, and I'll be sure to do my best to look after her, too. I can always give you guys updates if anything new happens, or if you're needed over here."

The Dreamer prince was hoping he could do more, he wish he knew how but with an Internal sigh, Catch put his hopes on the Nurse and Doctors for his friends life, he gave a Polite bow to the Nurse " yes, thank you, we Appreciate all that you've done "

" im glad she been well look after to" Catch reply, he moved closer to the sleeping Dreamer// she looks Peaceful right now// he let go of Eira to take one of Purity hands " just hang in there ok, we know Weaver alive so you got to hold on to "

//Yup. Too late.// Was all that went through Boreas' mind as Eater suddenly jerked away from him and went running down the hall, laughing like a maniacal lunatic. Then Aaliyah went zooming past him after the Nightmare.

He picked up his pace after them too, glancing to Theo, "Tell me about it. Gettin' a /real strong/ sense of deja-vu.
...I really hoped he'd keep his cool, but what was I expecting?"

Sending out his chains ahead of him to open the doors as he gets there, Dreameater bursts into the kitchen, no longer laughing like a mad man. He pays no attention at all to whoever else might be here, instead speeding over to the cupboards and searching for the hot chocolate.

Aaliyah was just a split second behind Eater, bursting in after the Nightmare, she had her mouth open to hollar, when she noticed he was actually going through the cupboards. "What's your game?" she had a summoned weapon in her hand, a sword, the blade angled slightly towards Eater.

Theo sighed, "At least you tried, but when Aaliyah gets set off, tempers usually rise" he gives a half smile, "I'm sure everything will be fine"

Fiona was busy with her own thoughts, but was distracted when Terra poked his pencil through his chin. She eyed the pencil momentarily...
...Then after she'd deemed it harmless, and actually smiled a little, she went back to making her own, very intense, squinty-eyed thinking face as she listened to what Terra had to say.
"That'd be cool if you guys were, but... I dunno if it's a silver blood thing... We haven't heard about emotion-stuff with the Vase-turm, just visions... The only things that have something like that are Nightmares--but Purity doesn't have one in her anymore, either!"

"That's right... She did tell me she threw up a bug..." Terra mumbles, writing some more information down in his notebook, "Could it be... something that's happening to her after g-getting that out of her? ... We don't know what a Dreamer is like without a Light Eater lurking inside, h-huh...?"

Crystal was thinking while the others spoke, her head beginning to form many scenarios of bad outcomes.. But she also thought of a couple good ones too, and despite her uneasiness about this, it helped a little to keep her from chickening-out.

The girl’s hands started fidgeting a bit with the watch she was still holding, and until then, she had forgotten she was holding onto it.

She turned her gaze to Jason when he looked her way and spoke, “I.. Well, I think we should do it as well,” she replied. “But Ethen’s right, we can’t take this lightly. And I agree with you, we definitely should prepare.. however it is we prepare for taking on an evil sword that is."

Jasmine Snapped her fingers " I say we need weapons and magic Items"

Jason nodded his head and did a Fist pump "Yeah! I know what to bring to!" And with that the Orange hair Orange hair guy took off out of the room.

Ethan flinched and Raised his hand and had his month Partially open like he was about to call out to his friend but he was already out the door. He stood there for a moment "... we didn't even discuss a plan..." and with that the wolf boy sighed.

Jasmine Laughed, walking over to the wolf boy and shaping her hand on top of gis head " Relax Ethan. We got this, besides one of the key hunters will be with us " she then smirked at the human girl " lady Crystal, what is it that you can do? It got to be some power magic or something to be Chosen as a hero"

The ice was Spreading quickly, Seeping into cracks In the concrete, the Walls Moaned as the Ice shifted Forcing more cracks Along the surface...

Malice glace up, he knew the Frost was trying to bring the tunnel down on him, it what he expected and he Growled " I'm Injured not stupid, Waker "
The Tunnel was growing more and more with ice, it Frozen spears twisting Extending like claws Stretching out towards the king. " oh really now?" Waker Stepped out from behind the ice, her finger like wings Where curled around a Giant wicked looking crossbow with an black Bolt cocked back.

The king of Nightmares maw Curled into a smirk " Waker. Now who being Predictable?" He turned his head away from the Figure across from him, his dark eyes Settled on a different Dreamwaker.

// his Senses must still be able to track...// the ancient Frost didn't Wait any longer, she let loose the bolt and let it fly... the Shaft twisted through the air and then the black bolt Shattered into pieces, Connecting each shard was a dark magical force that Created Spiraling blades followed by Horizontal twister.

Malice didn't move, he held his smirked as the Sparling twister rip a path though the ice Right toward him...Sparks Ignited from the Nightmare king, his mane lite up with green flames once more, and with that the tunnel EXPLODED * KABOOM *

She paused at that, but soon continued, "We don't really know much about the stuff that made her puke up that thing, either... We should probably keep an eye on her with that, too--see if it makes anything else change with her.
...But hey! At least she doesn't have to deal with a Light Eater /and/ this new corruption."

Boreas faintly returned Theo's half smile. His comments about Aaliyah sounded pretty familiar to him. "I hope so. Just found out there's a whole lot more going on with that Nightmare than his attitude... There's a lot to be sorted out."

Dreameater slowly stops what he's doing once he feels Aaliyah's sword up against his spine. "... What, are you gonna kill me over hot chocolate?" he asks, suddenly seeming much calmer after the run to the kitchen, and he tries to go over his options on what he can do in this situation.

Eira smiled at both Serenity and Catch. She had a feeling her friend would be okay, no matter what scary things could happen, and Purity had friends and family right by her side to walk with her through it all. She looked over her childhood friend, hoping inside that she'll be alright, then looked to Serenity. "Will you be staying with he r for now?"

The girls eyes widened a bit and she simply stared at the exit for a moment after Jason left, then she said, “Should I be scared?”

Crystal looked over at Jasmine and Ethen, then shook her head a little and smiled a bit nervously, “I don’t want to let you down but.. I’m also not like everyone else, I’m not good at this, the whole “chosen hero” thing.. I’m kind of just.. sideline support, really.” She paused, turning her eyes downward. She knew the Key Hunters were supposed to be hopeful figures, people that could be counted on.. She honestly felt a little bad for the three of them, so far getting stuck with the one any only candidate who probably wasn’t no where near equipped with what they needed the most when they needed help with something so vital.

But, it also made her determined to be as helpful as she could, so she really wouldn’t let them down.

Crystal soon looked up again, to answer Jasmine’s question, her expression a little less troubled than before, “It’s nothing too extreme, of course that’s depending on the situation, but to put it simply, I have a type of light magic that’s energy based, and healing is my main ability.”

The Expression on Jasmine face Shifted as the girl told about herself " oh, a support" the tone of Disappointment couldn't be hidden from the shapeshifter, she had expected something along the battle side of Heroic

Ethan on the other hand had already knew the girl had to be some kind of support, she just look the part but that didn't bother him, the wolf boy knew everyone had a place and though support wasn't one that often was the Head of the spear that most see as Dangerous part, support was the Shaft of the spear or the hands that held it. Ethan knew in any group you needed to have a mixture, it took different rolls to come together to form something greater that ether one could achieve on their own. He knew his because Ethan played video games, but not only that... the wolf boy glace over at Jasmine, she was the tip of the spear of the group he was in and him? he was the support, alone he couldn't stand long but Neither could Jasmine.

even though she was hoping for Physical power The Dragon shapeshifter knew this to, Jasmine smirked and plans her hands on her hips " a healer hay? Ever group should have a healer, no group would last long without one " she said with a upbeat tone, Jasmine then Frowned adding " unless you're a Nora kind of healer..."

Ethan didn't think Crystal was that kind of Healer but before he could say anything the Kitchen became much more occupied, he jumped when the other rush in // what the?! // he stay quiet and wide eyes as Aaliyah had the purple Nightmare at Swordpoint, his mind now Racing with panic on why this was happening, most of this thought were on what Eater could have done

Aaliyah was ignoring everyone else in the room, she was focused on Eater, "You just yelled at the top of your lungs that you're evil, then you booked it in here to 'steal all our hot chocolate'" she looks him up and down, "And now you're calm, you went from a mad man, to completely calm, in seconds"

She digs her blade a little more into his back, "What's your game, Nightmare? What are you planning?" she was just expecting him to lie, she knew no Nightmare would ever tell his or her plans to anyone. She didn't trust his rouse

Dreamcatcher held his warm smile as Serenity replied and then he said " I appreciate that, and if there anything you need just let us know "

The Dreamer prince then tipped his head in thought " hmm, Im not sure really, I want to check up on Weaver and see how he doing, I know Boreas ran after Eater... Im sure he can handle himself but..." he tapered off as he looked over to the Nurse in the room, they would probably want to have a look at Eira

Boreas let out a nearly inaudible chuckle, "This'll sound crazy...
But long story short, seems like Nightmares aren't just corrupted Dreamers. On one of the Keyhunter's escapades, a Dreamer's soul ended up trapped in that Nightmare's body. Well, his body, because he's the Dreamer Eater used to be--Dreamweaver. He can influence Eater to an extent, get him to not be fully evil... But the Nightmare's still mostly in control, as you can see by his outburst."
He paused as they neared the entrance to the kitchen,
"This is the closest thing I've seen to a cure for Nightmare Syndrome. I, and a few of the Keyhunters want to uncover how to fully free Weaver from that Nightmare.
/But whatever you do, don't mention that, or Weaver in general, to Eater./ That's a one-way trip to crazytown.

...If you don't believe me--we just met, I wouldn't blame you--feel free to ask Catch or Eira... There were a handful of the Keyhunters there."

The concussion of the explosion shattered the walls of ice, The Unsuspected frost Nightmare was sent Flying, Waker hit the ground hard, it would had been worst if it wasn't for the ice and Pillar she was using for protection.

She didn't have much time to recover as the Tunnel trembled, parts of its suffers broke apart from the blast and were falling. Waker spotted some Junk Nearby likely left from the homeless who had been there before the Nightmare king, she Quickly extended her chains and Sees a old table, she brought it too her and Raised a as a shield when the roof gave way... it wouldn't protect all of her, she was much to big in this form but it would take some of the impact.

placing his talons of his Flight wings on to the ground, Malice Forced himself to stand, his legs Wobbled with The Strain but he managed to get on his hoofs, the Nightmare king spine had Fused together over night but it wasn't fully healed, Despite his weakened state he was Obvious a force to reckon with and he Growled" did you think I be so Incompetent to not know my own layer?"

Malice had picked this place to rest for a reason, it proved him with good cover and had many Potentials for traps, much like the Spears he placed but not only that, it had Natural Potentials like the Gas line he had broken, in case he needed something bigger.
Waker hiss as the cement slabs fell on her, the table broke but it did what she wanted " YOU COULD HAVE FOOLED ME!" she Shouted from under the Rubble. Her mind was turning, this wasn't over yet, she needed to move to get out before Malice came.

Dreameater scrunches his face up as Aaliyah digs her sword more into his back, but he doesn't move at first, aside from lightly trying to arch his back away from her. "... I'm going to make some hot chocolate," he starts, "And drink it... Because I'm sick and I don't feel good, and hot chocolate makes me feel better."

The young Nightmare pauses after that, and slowly turns his head to look over his shoulder at Aaliyah. "You think I'm going to kill someone, huh? After all the time I've spent here and haven't hurt anyone, now's the time I'm going to do it? If I were going to kill one of your friends or family or anyone else here, I would have done it already, two days ago, even when I /was/ looking to eat someone. But instead of trying to kill anyone here, where you'd think it'd be more convenient since there's people all around, I went far out of my way into the city where I found some random guy on the street..." Eater smirks faintly at this, and adds, "Am I evil? Yes. Am I crazy? Oh yeah, insane even. But am I dumb? Not in the slightest, I know better than to go after a Vaseterm, even if it was just to scare someone, I'd have the entire palace coming after me, as well as the Keyhunters. Everyone around me would be out to kill me, and I wouldn't have any backup, or even any way to get out of here... So can you just let me make myself some hot chocolate? Please?" he asks, slowly reaching over his shoulder to try and grab the end of Aaliyah's blade.

Sh-she shouldn't, I guess she can't be a Nightmare if she doesn't have it in her anymore..." he mumbles again, then goes quiet as he thinks. //She didn't look like she was going to turn in the dream... She's not showing any signs of it on her body, she's just in a coma, she's... she's mostly fine...//

After a moment, Terra adds a bit more, glancing over at Fiona. "We'll have to figure out how to cure this new corruption in her... A-and I... I still want to try and find something more for you, too... H-has, uh... Has your corruption been bothering y-you at all, lately...?"

At this, Sparky stops toying with the tablet for a moment, and glances over his shoulder at Fiona.

Crystal’s whole demeanor changed after hearing and seeing the disappointment Jasmine had. She couldn’t help but kind of crawl back into the shell she was finally starting to come out of. She knew she didn’t have many useful strengths, but actually hearing someone sound so dissatisfied with her oddly hurt a little..

The girl looked down at her hands, trying not to take it too hard, knowing it probably wasn’t meant to come off that way. She was a tad thrown by Jasmines shift of tone again, but added, “Then, I guess lucky for the others,” her voice noticeably quieter than before.

Crystal quickly turned as more people barged in, and she gasped when she saw the sword pointed at Dreameater, her eyes wide with worry, “Hey..! Put.. put that sword down.. He’s not a bad guy,” she said, not quite sure she spoke loud enough to be heard, but her concern seeped into her voice nonetheless. She watched in complete silence as Eater talked. Crystal found his words a little unsettling, but she also knew what he was and that it was his nature, she just hoped whoever this lady was would soon put her weapon away and not hurt him.

Fiona jotted down a few notes about Purity's condition before looking up to Terra and watching him as he spoke, then went quiet. "...She's gonna be just fine." The Elemental added, putting all her confidence into her words and the little smile she gave him. //We'll make sure of it.//

...However, when he asked her about her own corruption, her confidence seemed to bolt away and hide somewhere. She found it a bit hard to make eye-contact all of a sudden. //...C'mon, Fiona, suck it up and tell him! Sparky told you that you should--you need to!
...But I don't want to freak him out...//
Finally, she looked up to the ghostly Dreamer, the faintest hint of uncertainty in her expression.
"Well... Yeah, it did, but... Suzano helped me again. She gave me these and told me how to use 'em." She started her explanation slowly, pulling out the bag of syringes she'd recieved and showing Terra the contents.

[[ well then... that was some timing... I wasn't eavesdropping I swear, but I couldn't help over hear what was said ]] Arthur spoke up from Crystal bag [[ It true, One might expect a hero to be powerful, to be wise and brave, to be able to anything at a snap of a Finger but I tell you this, not all heroes are this way...if it was do you really think everyone would be in the mess were all in now?]] He said with a testing tone and then Continued [[ of course not! There more then one kind of hero,
you might not be the powerful one but that doesn't mean you don't have a place... I picked you, I'm always right! ]] he then add the last part of his Pep talk [[ now just imagine I smile Dashingly and gave you a Thumbs up]]
Jasmine was more then ready to back Aaliyah, she Pounded her fist together " You tell him Aliy! " she was ready for a fight

on the other hand Ethan just stood there quietly, his Nerves grew more the longer Dreameater spoke, exactly when the Nightmare when on about being evil and insane...the wolf boys eyes locked on Eater watching his ever move...his ears Twitched however in hearing Crystal try and defend a Nightmare, his brown eyes glace to her // after all that she doesn't want us to hurt him?...// this got him questioning things, things about the girl and about Eater, that maybe there was more? Why would anyone defend a Nightmare? Did Eater do something to earn it or was that something who Crystal was? Needless to say the wolf boy said nothing but he did step a little closer to the human girl, just to be on the safe side.

Theo had started sputtering as Boreas explained about Eater, "Wh-wh" he placed his hands on the sides of his head. He then shakes his head, "I believe you, you're related to Fiona, you're someone I believe can be trusted. But that is also a crazy thing to believe... Then again, Soledormir would do something twisted like that" he have a meager half smiled and then it faltered when he looked into the kitchen, to see his partner digging a sword into the Nightmare's back.

Aaliyah's sharp blue eyes narrowed as the Nightmare spoke, she faintly heard Crystal, but didn't acknowledge her yet. "No, if Nightmares were as stupid as you say, they would not be a threat, they'd have been annihilated a long time ago" she moves her blade back from his spine, twirling it and letting it rest at her side.

"I'll be watching you Nightmare" Glancing at Crystal as she spoke, "I know your kind, deception and lies are what you are. I've heard stories of some who play the long game for months, even years. You just admitted to not being stupid enough to attack anyone here and that you also /ate/ a human in the city" she tsk'd then looked to the human girl now.

"Becareful Crystal, defending a Nightmare? Even the foals know not to do that" Aaliyah lets her blade disspell, "And he just admitted to eating a person, a human, so..." she taps the side of her head with her index finger.

"A lot to take in, I know. Hard even for me to believe, but like you said, this Soledormir guy seems like something out of this world..." Boreas muttered. "...And this is why I've been hanging out with a Nightmare. I'm trying to learn what makes him tick..." He then followed Theo's gaze into the kitchen, watching as things seemed to calm down. "Hmm..."
For now, he stayed put, keeping an eye on things from the hall.

Dreameater never turns around to face Aaliyah even after she takes her sword away and dispells it, but he does turn his head to the other side to look over at Crystal. //I just said I'm evil, I'm crazy, and I've eaten someone, and yet she still doesn't want me to get hurt...? What...//

He gets very quiet at that, but he does make a rather casual remark back to Aaliyah as she declares her intentions. "Yeah, I know, you and every other person in the palace," he says, yet, he gets quiet after that once more... This time not because of someone's kindess, but because of the repeated mentions of him eating someone, and the emphasis put on that...

The Nightmare stares down at the container of hot chocolate mix in front of him, and gently takes it in one hand. He isn't so sure this will help him feel better with the new kind of sickness he's starting to feel...

" and now who the one being Buried alive?" Malice replied Sarcastically.
The Temperature kept rising with both the Nightmare king flames and now the Existing flames from the explosion.
Waker Huffed trying to push against the table and the Debris on her, the air growing uncomfortable hot " WILL YOUR MAJESTY TURN IT DOWN SOME ?!" she Shouted, this time when she pushed the Frost ancient mustered up her magic again, her ice help push against the rocks... at one point Waker let her magic take over in making a path, she had to in order for her to have time.

Waker got het hoofs under her and when she had an opening the Ancient shot out, followed by a Flurry of ice and snow, it wouldn't be Enough now to freeze Area, not with Malice's flames but she knew this.... the Freighted air hiss when it Collided with hot air, melting the ice but it was cold enough not to fully evaporate, instead a powerful gust of steam was blasted Towards Malice.

The Nightmare king Record out of reflex, he Snared and paw at his face from the hot water, it was almost enough to Distract him from the frozen table that was flung across the room... Malice Barely heard it, he looked up just in time use his Chain, with a loud Crack the table was ripped apart, its Pieces scattered and the Room adding fuel for the fire.

Even though the table was destroyed Malice let a hiss as his chain fell limp, he had been avoiding using them for his spine wasn't fully healed, pain shot though the Nightmare king spine and his back legs Wobbled, however this wasn't a time to give in to pain, Waker was still alive..." Suppressing your darkness won't hid you forever Waker" Malice eyes Scan the darkness looking for any signs of the Frost but she was no were to be seen with both signs

Terra immediately catches on to the fact that Fiona's corruption has been acting up just by her initial reaction, though he doesn't know how severe it is from that alone. "Syringes...?" Terra quietly asks as he examines them and listens to Fiona's explanation of them, but once she's done, and before he can say anything else, Sparky interrupts him.

"Sure, that's for emergency situations and all, but Miss Suzano gave us some other tips too, like getting Fiona to think of things she's thankful for. Weaver even tried to help out some, too...!"

"... W-Weaver tried to help...?" Terra nearly whispers in response, quietly thinking over that more, as well as his more pressing questions of 'How bad was it?', though he sort of attempts to tackle them one at a time... kind of. "E-even as a Nightmare, he tried to help you with it, huh...? ... H-how bad did it get...?"

Fiona smiled at Sparky as he started bringing up some other positive things to start with. "Yeah! They both helped me out a lot." Then she stopped to think about one thing... Knowing it was Weaver and not /a Nightmare/ who'd helped her made her feel a bit happier, but... She knew Eater still had a lot of control.

"...Well..." Fiona started getting a little more hesitant again, "I kinda... Accidentally learned my claws can do things... Like steal magic from people...? And then I think I went kinda crazy. Weaver had to pin me down. I... I was seeing people's magic again, and I couldn't think straight."

Upon hearing a familiar voice enter her head, Crystal’s eyebrows raised in surprise, “I don’t know, I have a hard time believing you weren’t eavesdropping~” she mumbled her joke, hopefully quiet enough. She continued to watch the situation in front of her very carefully, but listened to what her Key was saying just as intently. The corner of her mouth turned upwards in a smile ever so slightly despite what was going on. Arthur’s words brought her some needed reassurance, and she was grateful for that. Because he was right, she did have a place, even if it wasn’t one of the typical kinds. She breathed out a soft laugh through her nose at what he said lastly, “Noted.”

Crystal watched Aaliyah when she turned her gaze on her, relieved when the sword finally disappeared. “I’m aware,” was all she said, preferring to keep her thoughts and reasonings to herself for the time being. Did she like that Eater ate a person? No, of course not. It was scary to think he could eat anyone he felt like. But he said it himself he wasn’t going to embrace those kinds of instincts, that he didn’t want to hurt or kill anyone else.. Crystal looked passed Aaliyah and at Eater for a moment. Whether he was faking this whole time or not she didn’t know, but something seemed too off for it to be entirely a mask..
