Because he was born in the same year as the blue Renashin Iscelo Drardro is called one of the 'Mist' though there isn't any true proof that children born the same year as the Renashin are tainted, the Magjkkia are a very Superstitious People and believe those who are born closer to the Renashin brings misery and Misfortune.

Iscelo was Shunned because he was born the following month after Von and it didn't help that he was gifted with a unique Chromancy ( the magic of Von people)

As a child Iscelo did whatever he could to be Accepted by the other children, offended doing things for them that would get him into trouble, but he believed he had 'friends' but the truth was they were only using him for his ability, He counted running with the wrong crowd into his teens, the older they got the worse things his friends got him to do... one day Iscelo got caught and his Punishment for his crime was cutting off one of his Finger... this however didn't stop him, he later was caught and lost Another finger. After losing two fingers Iscelo started to think about things and when his so called friends try to get him to do something for them again, this time he refuses however the group that he was running with didn't like this, they went and did the crime themselves but black mail Iscelo...

Judgment was cast quickly and the Verdict was Guilty, Iscelo was Sentence to have both his hands removed and Exiled, he try to pledge, say he was framed but it feel on def ears Iscelo had a reputation for troubled and with the Superstition of the people of the mist, he was Stripped of his family name and it wasn't looking good for the boy.

However a proposal was made to Spare the boy, Venali offered to give the boy one last chance, his Proposal to the council was that Iscelo would become a slave and pay his dues by become one of the 'wolfs fangs' a special group that does, well, let just say they hunt and do things that others fear to do... the offer was Accepted and now Iscelo is the youngest member.
Iscelo thankfully in keeping his arms but Adapting to his new life been difficult, exactly since one of his jobs is to keep an eye on Von who he Terrified of.
