B) It probably only took as long as it did because I was indecisive on whether I wanted to try to COMPLETELY replicate it making it look pixel-y or to do it how it is currently. I ended up not doing it the pixel way cause it seemed like it was going to take forever.
And you should definitely consider trying to do a lot of them! I think they'd be great to fill in the gaps if you run out of ideas, or if you just need filler.
@Crimsontears I like doin' them too! But they're SO HARD to get right! All the ones I did last year look like a overly-excited first-grader's art project, lol!
