- though they can only use one, if they changed their type for some reason (they usually don't for their own sake) their bodies change drastically, their form depends on their class /and/ type

of course there are other unnamed features like wings, vents, and other stuff, those are inherit to the fallure themselves, and some are born with legendary qualities and powers unknown to others but all of them speak through telepathy

Mmm, so going by what you had in the description for mine, my girl would likely have been some other type, then turned to darker things and came to use shards? That'll give me a lot to think about~

So what all exactly can a Fallure do? Do they have the basic magic stuff like fire magic, water, lightning, etc., or do they use more, uh... I guess would subtle be the word? They already have magical qualities tied to them (like the Dreams being tied with health and good fortune), so would they use more magic like fear, dark, dream magic, or illusions? Or is what kind of magic they use tied to what weapon class they use?

Ahh, I faintly remember Chivalry too, Shadow's told me about a picture you did a long time ago with him and her OC Dreamcatcher, and how she misses it, assuming you must've taken it down after handing Chivalry off to the other person. He was a pretty boy ;w;

Actually my idea for your Fallure was that she was a dream turned nightmare :0 the shards came with it (it's a more rare and powerful weapon class)

Fallures can do magic! Some magic depends on their Class and their weapon type complements it (like a dream being able to do water magic with their weapon taking a theme after it, dreams can make happy soothing illusions and nightmares, well, nightmares) though they can all use basic elements no matter the Class (fire, water, lightening, ice, etc) but their most proficient one will define them, the weapons are just close combat/secondary fighting options for them

Oh, I do have some more questions about the Fallure!

How are they when it comes to aging? Do they have a lifespan, or do they even age at all? They seem like very mythical creatures, and I'm curious

For Miss Fortune, I know she was a Dream that slowly turned into a Nightmare, can you give me anymore information on that? Would it ever be possible for her to go back to being good? If it were, would she change back into a Dream Fallure, or would she be unable to physically turn back? Is it possible for her to be good, or remotely good, as a Nightmare?

And then, just out of curiosity, the different weapon classes like the chandeliers and candles in particular, how would those Fallure use those weapons? I see in this picture, the candle replaces the tail (which is cool), and for the chandeliers, there's an arrow pointing to it from the hover above part, do the chandeliers hover above those Fallures' tails now instead of being a part of them, for example, like ShadowPikaboo's green Fallure boy?

One last thing, do the Fallures have their own world they call home, or would it be ok to put them in a world that someone else made?

Oh! And I've seen on some of the other Fallure references that some of them have fluff on their shoulders that can become wings if needed, is that what Miss Fortune has, or is that just part of her mane?

Hey @LillyLightstar ! Here's your answers, sorry it took me this long, hopefully these are good responses.

Fallures don't age! They're essesntially immortal, mostly because they're mythical creatures of supernatural origin. They don't have a limited lifespan, they can however die of wounds and serious illness (if you make that their weakness)

Dreams turn into Nightmares when they go against their own morals or act on a serious offense (like killing, anything similar that's bad, being malicious, etc) basically when they willingly harm others. Though some Fallures are born Nightmares so this logic won't apply to them.
turned Nightmares can go back, but most seemingly don't as they made a decision they refuse to budge on. In the situation that they do, you can decide if they go completely dream or not (i kind of imagine a 'tainted' vers of whatever their shifting back to but it's not a realised idea)

Nightmares can be good! Most tend to misbehave since they feel driven to but it's completely reasonable if they don't.

Fallures use weapons kind of like how the game okami does, most of the weapon types are non contact except reflectors which are held by the mouth.
And yeah, I made chandelier types detached now, thought it made more sense aesthetically since it looked weird the way it was before.

Fallures don't have their own specialized world, and because of that they can habit any other one! I planned to have them dimension warp anyway.

The fluff things are actually wings, your fallure was just really fluffy and didn't have them but you can include them if you want!

Shadow and I have been talking about our Fallures a bit, and we're thinking that we'll have both of ours in the same world, and Miss Fortune and her boy can be rivals or something, Miss Fortune trying to cause trouble for him and the people he looks after. That's partly why I was asking about the chandelier type, I was curious about Shadow's boy ':D

Ah, and if my girl was meant just to be really fluffy and not have the wings, that's fine with me! I want to keep her as you intended her to be :3

Speaking of her design and stuff though, when it comes to her abilities, I was thinking she'd use crystal magic and reflections with them, and that she'd have an area full of crystals as kind of a den. I was thinking during the daytime, the reflections on the crystals would make it look like a beautiful, wonderful place, but at night it would look horrifying and scary, and the reflections would disorient people and get them lost in there. One other thing I was thinking about for this during the daytime, was the possibility of Miss Fortune using the light reflections to make an illusion of herself, but as she was as a Dream to further trick people more. I got to wondering what she did look like back then, but if she were to be drawn as a Dream Fallure, in maybe a reflection or something, would you want to design her, or would you leave that up to me?

I'd also be curious to see what you'd have in mind for the tainted Fallures, I don't know if I'd have Miss Fortune go that way, or at least not all the way, but I'd still be curious just to see what that'd be like--if you don't feel like drawing something like that though, or don't have the time, that's quite alright too! It's not something I need or anything, I'm just kinda curious about your ideas and stuff 'X3
