landscape exercise by Alkaline

Tablets are hard for me to color and shade on so I got tired, the lineart and colors seem a bit mess to me.
More Hawthy + Aki art, going for a grand adventure not sure if it's quite captured here. I am by no means a landscaper, but I try.

Enjoy! I'll have to try this again sometime, make a better, more finalized version. ;)
Self Notes:
-Location wise Northern Novin Mountain range. Name not decided yet.
-Landscape based off the Pacific Northwest and several other photos my brother and myself took.
-depth, color, compostion atmosphere test
placement is good, color needs work, line-art could be more defined.
-do some tree studies lol.
- When drawing landscapes and scenes, use the rule of thirds and Fibonacci Spiral (golden ratio)
Helps with, centering and placement of characters. Our eyes are drawn to certain places on the canvas. Knowing how to properly utilize the geometry will help with overall aesthetic
(The piece and flow look more natural and less awkward/cramped or forced).
Wip? Perhaps?
My mom actually thought I was doing math when I went divide the piece into thirds and added the spiral. X'D

Most of you won't probably see this later until about 24hrs from now. Unless,,,, you've browsed new pics ;)
