1. Sandy has lived most of her life in the desert, living amongst an oasis community of Pokemon.

2. She enjoys flying to the point of doing so recreationally. She tells anyone who will listen about the rush of soaring and diving through the skies, and how it is the best way to see some spectacular sights.

3. Her favorite sight is the sky above a sea of clouds. This is typically the motivation behind her occasional trips out of the desert.

4. Due to her frequent flights, she has developed an above average wing endurance compared to the rest of her species.

5. Sandy frequently opts to bury herself in the sand to keep warm during the cold desert nights. Many have been spooked whenever she emerges from the sand the following morning.

6. She has spent the last few years helping to protect the Pokemon of the oasis from bandits, most frequently squaring off with a rather stubborn Krookodile.

7. As of late, she has been feeling unneeded around the oasis now, as there is no longer any shortage of strong fighters there. Due to this, she has been entertaining the idea of exploring the world beyond the desert and its neighboring regions.

8. She is quite prone to making snarky comments. This is especially true in combat situations, where she swears her mid-battle comments frustrate most opponents into putting less thought in their strategy.
