They chose to Repent... however to prove their Faith the each had to give something. One Gave an Eye, One gave their Ear, the other had their mouth Bound...
The third seems Cowardly, but she was the First to actually speak up and Accept their Repentance. Hence only their mouth was Bound by Blessed bandages, that can only be removed by another.
