Osiris gave a small bow of his head " your welcome lady Fiona " He then look between them both " I brought these for you to use however you wish, If you have need for them all then take them, if not, then take what you feel you need "

"I was thinking that too... But with all the stuff we're running into, we're probably going to need a LOT.
...Maybe not ALL of them, though... Right?" Fiona suggested, shifting the pile to the same arm as she was carrying the bag with and starting to try and pick out a few. (Including the tablet--she was curious about whatever it was...)

"... Maybe two e-each...?" Terra suggests, noticing one of the things Fiona picks out, and then he whispers, "Maybe you could take three, i-if you want to try that thing out? I-I don't know how to use it, s-so maybe a spare book would be a good b-backup... Just in case..."
The ghostly Dreamer then goes and picks out some things for himself, first picking out a simple spiral bound notebook and then a blue leather back book with intricate white details on its covers and spine. After handing the other books back to Osiris, Terra then picks out a fancy fountain pen and two pencils to go with his new items. "Th-thank you again, Osiris," Terra says, pinning his ears ever-so-slightly back as he then asks, "Do... Do you mind if we stay here for a l-little while as we get things s-sorted out...?"

Eira smiled faintly at the sight of Serenity, holding out a hand for the Fairfin to land on if she pleased. "I'm glad to see you're safe, at least. I'm so sorry about Purity... This has been so hard."
She nodded in agreement with Catch's more positive word. "I hope she'll recover quickly."

Catch also hold up his only good hand " Hay! Easy there! We're not going to do anything to her!" He then moved his hand over his chest " Purity is our friend "

Nora Narrowed her eyes at the two, she knew both had Corruption " you might say that but how do we know your not Lying?" She replied looking to Eira

Thankfully the head nurse step in " Nora, That's enough" Suzano place a hand on the half blood " why don't you go on break? Purity is in stable condition now "

Nora Grumbled under her breath but then signed " fine, but don't say i didn't say anything " she then handed the blade over to the head nurse and then took her leave

"Jason then put a hand to his chinn as he thought about this odd clock and what could be its purpose, he knew a lot about weapons but this didn't give off that kind of vibe "it a timer for a bomb... you did say It went off when he went all cray, cray, yesterday..." he moved this hand from his chin and Shook his pointer finger as he thought of other idea " OR its some kind of warning, like when the oven done or something...man now I'm hungry "

Jasmine rolled her eyes at the young man commitment about being hungry " that because you haven't eaten yet "

" I know but this is WAY more cooler! It's like some kind of mystery that needs Solving!" The Orange hair shape shifter took one hand and made a fist and wack it down into his other hand that was open below it.

" then why are you complaining about it?" The Dragon shapeshifter toss her arms up

"I wasn't!" Jason Shrugged and then put his hands on his Belly " my stomach was"

Ethan on the other hand was solely focused on what was before him, something about this Mesmerizing, it flowed with magic and it felt old, older then an other Artifact he had come across so far " one of the Kings told you this was made of Order magic?" He looked up at the human girl, his big Ears twitched " I heard that the keys spoke...that, is also odd magic" he wasn't sure if the keys held a Persons soul or just a Recording of them.

The wolf boy look back down to the Pocket watch, a part of him wanted to try touching it to see if he could have a vision but at the same time his gut told him to be careful, that if this watch was some how Connected to Crimson, it could have tise to darkness as well. Ethan tip his head as he watch the odd behavior of the watch " just what is the reason why this watch is Connected to him? "

The girl blinked when “C Man” was said, and she momentarily thought about how much Crimson would probably hate that name.

Crystal simply nodded her head, choosing not to add on to the parts about Jason being hungry, “I think it’s the right idea that this is some kind of warning device..” she said, “and given yesterday, I don’t doubt it’s exactly that.”

The girl then nodded again, this time to Ethan and his question, “Yes,” she replied, but she just watched the watch. ‘It’s like he’s making progress, but it’s not enough. He’s taking two steps forward, but his corruption is pulling him one step back every time..’ she thought to herself.

“I have no clue..” Crystal responded to what the wolf boy said lastly, finally taking her hand and the watch back. She laced her fingers together, letting her hands rest down in front of her, but she was still holding onto the pocket watch. “I don’t know how or why it’s connected to him, I just know it is. I don’t know how he got it either.”

Glancing around a little, she was still thinking about the ticking hands, and Crystal slowly started to feel fear take hold of her.. What if something was starting to happen right now? Was Crimson truly okay up in that infirmary room like she wanted to believe he was? What if he was fine for now, but the single tick backwards meant the corruption was getting worse and harder for the bracelets to manage?

She tried to crack a small smile despite her thoughts, “I guess I have a lot of questions I need to ask him later to try and find out what he knows and might know about all this."

Serenity takes up Eira's offer and lightly lands on her hand. "It has been really hard, I'm just glad you and Purity are both ok... Well, mostly ok. I was afraid the monster would do something to you too with how you ran off alone like that," Serenity admits, then tips her head and asks, "Do you know whatever happened to Eater earlier?"

She squeaks when Nora tells the newcomers to step away from Purity, and flies up again when Eira holds her hands up.

" he Paused and looked over to the left of the room to were a doorway was at " there is a study down the hallway that you might for more idea then here but that choice is up to you "

Eira blinked quickly, a little panicked from the defensive nurse's behavior. "I-I promise we're here for good, not harm!"
Relief came into her features when Suzano came in and calmed the nurse Nora, convincing her to take a break and leave them alone. She sighed slightly. "Thank you for that... I suppose we must've startled her. I'm glad you're here."
The shiftress glanced at Serenity apologetically. "Sorry about that... She caught me a little off guard, and I shook you off. And about Eater... He had a bit of an... episode before running off somewhere in the palace. But we also learned that Weaver isn't gone... We can fill you in on all the details if you'd like," she offered.

"That's a good idea!" Fiona nodded in response to Terra's suggestion. She quickly picked out a couple of notebooks along with the tablet. Then she returned the rest of the books, and picked out a pencil that looked rather new, finishing by saying to Osiris, "Yeah, thanks again!"
After making sure she had a good hold on everything, the Elemental focused her attention on the butler, and followed his gaze to the doorway leading to the study. "Oooh, cool!
...So we can /study in the study/..." She narrowed her eyes as she muttered that.

Suzano dip her head " That you did, though Nora would never admit that, she is quite proud and that fact that you may lady and Master Catcher are Corrupted...which she has reason in why she doesn't trust Ones who are tainted "

I really don't know if I'll ever get used to being called Master or prince...// the red head Dreamer thought to himself, he glace over at his wife, Particular her ice shoulder and then rub his arm, he could Sympathize with Nora and get were she was coming from // we haven't done anything and as haven't shown any Progression with are Corruption... I know we can't let are guard down and no should anyone else but...// he wasn't so worried about himself, Catch was still under the impression that his silver blood was keeping him safe but Eira and now Purity, he didn't know how that darkness work.

Terra simply gives a little nod of his head when Osiris says he's glad he could help, then glances over to the door the phoenix looked to. //He's letting us use his study? That'll be helpful too, I just need to hurry and sit down so I can start writing, maybe we can head to the library after a little bit... Plus... There's something I want to look at a while longer, too...// the ghostly Dreamer thinks, sitting down and likewise setting his notebook, leatherback book, one pencil, and the fountain pen on the floor, opening the notebook first with his ribbons and getting his pencil ready to write. "I-I think for now we'll be fine here, maybe we'll go t-to the study later..." is all Terra mumbles back to Osiris.

Ethan Blinked a few times when the girl put the Pocket watch a way // hmmm, I never seen anything like that watch before... it gives off really Ancient magic... it doesn't seem to output darkness but at the same time it does feel odd, just what is this thing really?// the wolf boy look up at the human girl with what she said last " I guess so" he said simply

Jason started to make silly cricket sounds when the room grew quite. " does that mean we should go talk with him?"
Jasmine rolled her eyes at the boy until he brought up going to go check on the red prince, she grin, but it was more of a challenge look" I know I got a few questions for him"

"Oh, it's fine, I don't blame you," Serenity casually replies to Eira, then looks over to Catch, and continues, "Weaver really isn't gone, though? Anna told me about that too, but then Eater had an 'episode' and ran off? ... Uh, what about his eyes, though? Anna said his eyes were bleeding or something..."

Osiris yet again gave a small bow " then I will take me leave " he headed in the opposite direction of were he had told the small group the study was and went though one of those doors

Fiona watched as Terra set everything down--if he were sticking in this room, she would too. "See you, Osiris!" The Elemental watched him leave. //...Glad that went better than last night.// She then sat beside the ghostly Dreamer, setting down her collection of items as well--she even pulled out her old diary and pencil... Then stared at the pencil for a few seconds...

"Scribble warrior, you have served me well since the days of... A long time ago.
But now it is time for you to pass this duty to your successor."
She proceeded to give it a very quick, quiet, yet dramatic sendoff before putting it back in her hair.

Only then did she open her new book and start flipping through her diary frantically, searching for where she'd left off. "Time for notes... Jeez, where do we even start? We've got SO MUCH stuff now!"

Terra glances over at Fiona when she takes out her pencil and gives it a final sendoff, slightly raising an amused eyebrow at her before he looks back down to his own book. "I've--I've got other things too, like the things I asked Queen Victoria about... Uh..." he starts, but gets quiet as he starts thinking and writing his thoughts down in the notebook, //There was... the things about the Red Demons, how they're twisted and deformed and have to live in dark worlds, but they aren't inherently evil... And... Ah, there were things about Awakened forms, Vaseterm have that too, and apparently it wasn't just Nightmares who had Awakened forms before, Dreamers did too, and there were other species... There was something about the five points on a star, five species with Awakened forms? Dreamers, Vaseterm... Gem Dragons, and... Air... Air something... That's only four... I can't remember the fifth... There were things about Judas, too, the Devil of the Night...//

Sparky finally flies back down to the pair and grins, seeing them both with books and pencils. "Oooh, is it note taking time? You've got a writing buddy, Terra!" he cheers, then notices the tabet and flies down to it, asking, "What's this thingy? It's like a flat screen of technology?"

"It's Fiona's, if you want to figure it out, ask her," Terra simply replies.

"... Can I try to figure it out and play with it a bit?" Sparky asks, practically beaming at Fiona with excitement in his eyes.

"Oh yeah, that's right! You were going to look for the Queen or Osiris to help with something..." Fiona muttered, looking curiously to Terra as he wrote. She noticed how quiet he got after that, and not wanting to interrupt his thought process, she looked to her own book. //Well, we found out a LOT of stuff about Nightmares... And stuff with souls and hearts...// She started writing the basics and looking to cross-reference it with what she already had in her diary... If she could find it.

But she hadn't done a whole lot before she looked up to Sparky, smiling at him. "Of course you can! I really wanna figure it out too... But I gotta write stuff down before I forget, first."

Back at the door to Osiris' room, there was a quick series of knocks. Boreas had made his way there and now folded his arms, waiting for an answer.

Hours had passed since Dreamwaker had Disturbing conversation with Eater and Boreas.
The Ancient Nightmare in disguise had Track down the King of Nightmares but she took her time... she had to think about things, many of things and plans out her next move but now she was ready to face Malice...

The rain Trickled off The Beautiful woman with short black hair Umbrella, Waker stood In front of an abandoned Railroad station, the Pavement was cracked and had weeds and grass Sprouting out were ever it could, rusty Railroad carts were Scattered on the property, making it look even more like a Junkyard.

The Large warehouse front of her head busted windows and Panels of the wall were gone, exposing the internal framework of the Structure.

Dreamwaker Proceeded inside the Abandoned warehouse,The Sound of the rain falling, pieces of metal Scraping and dog barking far off in the distance made the scene even more hunting but that didn't Phase Waker " not what I call an idea Layer " she thought outloud, Watching a rodents scurry here and there

Eira felt a slight pang from the words "corrupted" and "tainted" used to describe her and her husband. //I understand that nurse's concern, but... this corruption we fight, is it really just... part of our identity now? I don't want it to be, but there's not much to be done about it right now...// Her gaze wandered to the unconcious white Dreamer as she thought, worried for her friend and wondering how she might be seen after this.

Eira looked back to Serenity when the Fairfin spoke, and she gave her a smile, though not without some weight. "That's what we learned... Nevaeh looked into Eater's eyes and saw Weaver's light inside. We don't know how to free him, but we know he's alive and Eater can't deny it, try though he might. It's a difficult situation, but... we have hope now."

Crystal was so caught up in her own thoughts that she didn’t truly notice the creeping silence that took over momentarily, or much of Jason’s cricket sounds.

But she soon tilted her head a little and settled her gaze on Jason and Jasmine when they spoke about talking with Crimson too, “I guess we could all go, if that’s what you mean,” she said, ”But we should be careful with how we go about it, I don’t want to overwhelm him and make it more difficult than it probably will be..”

It wasn't long that Boreas had to wait before Osiris opened the door, he went away that wouldn't Disturb his guests." Greetings captain Boreas, how can I assist you?" He said to the icy Elemental as he looked down at him

Sparky beams at Fiona and does a quick mid-air spin before flying over and sitting next to the tablet, so he can work on it. "Thanks Fuzzy! I'll try to be quiet, so I don't distract ya!"

//... Then there's Nightmares and 'Light Eaters'... Weaver's still alive, he's still in the Nightmare after all, but he can't control himself much still... But Light Eaters are insects that...// Before writing down too much more, Terra stops and looks over at Fiona again, and asks, "... What all do you know about 'Light Eaters?' The... insect th-things Eater brought up this morning as we were going to the infirmary...?"

Catch nodded his head with a few things Eira told Serenity, he then added on to what his wife said and answered Fairfin " he wasn't really bleeding from the eyes, he was crying...more like Weaver was " he said the last part Quietly

" were hoping that maybe the Vaseterm have learned more about that bug, thing?..that a Nightmare really is, but first we want to check on Purity and make sure she was doing alright, she did just have a Nightmare in her dreams " Catch then look to the Dreamer as she slept // I hope Eater wasn't as cruel to you as he was to me...if anything, I think you got to see Weaver yourself... you need to stay strong to Purity, you got to hold on to, just like him //

Suzano stay quiet as the two speak with the Fairfin, she look to the door when it opened

Ethan being the voice of reason as he was, agreed that all of them going was likely not a good idea nor just rushing off was one ether " I think not trying to overwhelmed him would be a good idea...we don't even know what condition he in right now.." he looked to the dragon shapeshifter " you should know from experience that waking dragons isn't favorable..."

Jasmine glare at the wolf boy, knowing that last comment was poking fun at her " what that Supposed to mean?!" She growled bearing her fangs.

Jason put up his hands " Whoa, Whoa, cool it down a little... Ethan and lady C here got good points " he then snapped his fingers coming up with an idea " well we can always call! That way we can save a trip "

Jasmine pulled her eyes away from the Ethen and then glare at Jason " or how about we get back to work in finding Scarlet again? Hmmm, "

Jason Shrugged at that " yeah, you got a point about that to, but we look all morning and couldn't find her and C man could know more about her and how to find her, he is blood bond to her "

With that, Jasmine got a really bad idea " what a Second, he blood bond right? We could use him a bate "

Serenity smiles up at Eira, happy to hear there's still hope for Weaver, though she can tell there's some grief by what both Eira and her husband say. "Aww, I'm really glad Weaver's alive, but I really hope something can be done for him soon, he sounds so sad," she replies, "He's really going to need you guys to help him through these dark times, and Purity will too, but I'm sure it'll help her a lot to know Weaver is still around. You know she'd want to know."
After saying that, she also perks her antenna up and peeks her head around Eira some to try and see who's coming in.

Fiona still smiled, though the name 'Fuzzy' was something she didn't really know how to feel about. //...I'm not Fuzzy... But it's better than Fluffball or Fuzzball...//

She focused back to what she was writing, jotting down the simple facts of: Nevaeh can see souls, and Eater has Weaver's soul in him. However, the Elemental paused and looked up to Terra when he asked his question.

"Uhh... I know more about what they look like! Yeah, they're these little insect things with four eyes, big ears, and little claws... At least from what I've seen." She reached for her diary and flipped through the pages. "...This is what Eater looks like." She showed him a scratchy, jagged doodle of Dreameater as a Light Eater. Several smaller notes about his physical traits and such surrounded the drawing.

Boreas looked up at Osiris when he answered the door, "Hello again, Osiris." He nodded respectfully, "I've been informed that Fiona and Terra were looking for you--and I'm looking for them.
Would they happen to be here?"

Waker was waking down one of the old tracks, the way her Stride was one would think she was walking down a cat walk instead of some abandoned Railroad, she followed the path into an old Tunnel and continued down it.

//Hmmm, that the smell of blood // she thought to herself and it wasn't long before she came across the bloody scene of the crime. Blood was Splattered on the walls and Scraps of the remains of evidence of Malice last meal. Dreamwaker lip Curl with disgust, after what Eater said that eating humans here could make you sick had her Wondering if that why Eater had been acting so Strangely...but then again something seem off before that // I'm still not going to take the chance // she look towards a Direction and smirked// if its true then Malice will get even sicker // dark thought swim in her wicked mind on if what she uncover and was Sensing, now was the Perfect opportunity to kill the king... however the talk with Eater and what she read in that book came rushing back to her // that! * she thinks a not so nice name * better not die! If he dies then, then...// the Nightmare herself look to be getting sick just thinking about it "AHHHHH! IT SO DISGUSTING!!" she Shouted

" indeed they are captain Boreas "Osiris reply Politely, he opened the door to let the captain in " they are this way Sir" he then Lead the icy Elemental inside

"They look something li-like that...?" Terra thinks out loud, studying the doodle Fiona drew and reading her notes there, then he further asks: "Do you know what they do? Wh-what exactly /is/ a Light Eater?" //Just to make sure... I want to know I have everything right, or as much as I know...//

Fiona paused a moment, going over everything she knew. Her face wrinkled in frustration, "...I don't think I know much more than what you know, but...
They eat light, like that name suggests...
...Eater was carrying around a ball of light when I saw him. And well... Y'know, they eat a Dreamer's heart. They're like parasites.
But when they're in a Dreamer's body or right when they get pulled out of one, they're this gross black goo-stuff..."
That frustrated look gained an air of disgust the more she spoke. "Nightmares are full of that stuff."
//...Wait...
Is /THAT/ what I got on my glove?!//

"Thanks. I won't be here too long." Boreas followed Osiris into his room, discreetly glancing around at his surroundings. //...Quite the interesting place. It's practically a second library.//

Eira nodded in agreeement with Catch. "Those bug things sure seem to play an important role, which we ought to research at some point..." She smiled at Serenity. "Yeah... I think that'll really lift her spirits. It's wonderful news for her, and for all of us."
The shiftress turned her attention to the door as well when it opened.

A Vaseterm nurse briskly entered the room and headed towards Purity's bed, though she paused in surprise when she noticed the newcomers in the room. "Ah... You must be Master Catch and Lady Eira. Good to see you here," she said, before focusing her attention right back on her destination, talking as she approached and scribbling on a clipboard full of notes. "See, I sampled the corruption essence in her blood and analyzed it, and I recognize a very rare magic which I have studied in the past. There are only a few cases reported of this magic, and it isn't good at all." She turned around her clipboard to show them her notes, though they were hardly readable with how scribbly they were. "Research has shown that an unidentified shadowy monster injects its magic into a victim and it quickly corrupts the being, taking over in only a few days and leaving them nearly a husk of themselves, completely subject to the urges of the dark essence. The biggest problem is, we cannot remove it. No magic or spells can clean it from the victim's body - it's as if it has a mind of its own, constantly outwitting the magic and attaching itself more firmly to the host with each second that passes. There's no way to remove, no way to prevent it from its dirty work. We've learned this from three victims in the past whom we found, but even with life supports they were lost in only a few days. What this unfortunately means is that," she gestured a hand to Purity, "Unless we can discover a new cure, your friend is not going to make it."

"...Hold on," Eira spoke up, raising a hand for the nurse to pause. "There are exceptions. I, uh... I've been corrupted by the monster too. The Heart of the Abyss is its name, and five years ago it stabbed me with its darkness. However, I haven't been taken over even in all this time." She gestured to her shoulder, where the skin had been darkned and ice encased it. "This is all that there is. It's still bad, and the effect fluctuates, but that's it. I don't know what's holding it off, but if some victims fell quickly, then there must be something different about me. Maybe it's the same for Purity too," the shiftress said, looking over at the white Dreamer.

(I gotta be up early for work, so I should probably go to bed now. Thanks for having me! Goodnight yall~)

Osiris  stopped and Gesture with a hand, Directing Boreas's attention to Fiona and Terra " take the time you need " he said and then waited

Deep in the tunnel where no light could reach, the Nightmare king was resting, his ears Twitched hearing the Distant echoes of the other ancient but he made no attempt to move, he was Laying still in his true form and he looked like a mess. Dry black blood was cake to him, his finery mane was more like smoke then fire. He made no attempt to fold his black wings and had let them lay in whatever Position he had flocked down in.

Moment passed since he last heard Waker voice but he didn't care, his mind kept playing back to his talk with Void and everything that led up to that, the battle with Crimson, the dream with Faithful, and more..it kept playing though his mind like a broken record, over and over again.

" my, my look how the mighty have fallen" Waker Taunted from the darkness

Malice maw Curled but he didn't growl, he just turned his head away from her.

Dreamwaker step forward, her eyes were the only thing that could be seen in that dark place and they glimmer with deadly Intentions. " look at you, you call yourself the king!" The Sound of a Chain cracking like a wip thunder.

But Malice did nothing

Terra again goes quiet as Fiona explains what she knows, making sure to write down every little thing in his notebook, though he frowns as he does so. "... S-so Nightmares aren't just corrupted Dreamers..." he starts, mumbling quietly at first, and gradually looking more and more distressed as he goes on, "But if Light Eaters, o-or Nightmares, are parasites that eat a Dreamer's heart reflection, wh-what happens to the Dreamers...? Eater said he saw and killed Weaver i-in a dark crystal in Void's palace, and other Dreamers too, yet, Weaver's not gone, h-he's able to have a bit more control over his body now... O-or, I guess, he's back /in/ his body, if he was trapped there, and Eater freed him...? ... Are all the Dreamers back in their N-Nightmare bodies now...?"

The girl nodded to what Ethen said at first, but when Jasmine’s gaze turned sharp and she growled, out of habit Crystal mindlessly, and inconspicuously, shifted her weight on her feet and took a step back.

She stayed silent and observant for the most part, until something got her attention, “Wait, Scarlet is missing? How?”

Crystal’s eyes widened a bit and she simply couldn’t contain the slight dread that washed over her with what Jasmine suggested, “Wha..what?” she stuttered, “I.. No, we can’t use him as bait..
