I tried hatching 1 egg but that actually went on until my light turned red.. Which, since I literally just charged my 2DS the night before, means it took around 5HOURS to hatch! How the F*ck did people hatch eggs on their Gameboy colors!!!!? Yeah, I know there's probably something to help with it in new generations, but their WAY too much money and pokemon are part of their DLC, so no.

There's actually a decent chance of catching them all IF everybody works together and if Nintendo didn't make hatcging time ridiculous AF! I mean honestly, the Eevee was laying more eggs in that period--breeding faster than it took for the egg to hatch! It finally did but that almost murdered my 2DS!

I'd understand if some magical way I had a egg in real life, and it took a long time to hatch: it's LIFE it's worth it!
But a freakin' egg in a GAME!? The actual hell's up with THAT!! That's not fun, it's stupid!!

Honestly knowing those were the first games it's understandable things weren't balanced (it's not like things are super balanced now, sadly xD) and they probably did that to enlarge the game's life, if that makes sense
However I totally get why you feel like ora oraing something lol, I would be like that too XD

I didn't even remember it taking that long. I'm not looking forward to having to hatch eggs now.

it only started getting more easy to raise eggs least for me in the last three gens it still took awhile in games like BW soul silver and heart gold but i've never played one of the original seven games just the remakes

@Crimsontears, me niether at first. It was literally like "Gotta catch 'em all, gotta catch 'em all!!" the first time. But trying playing through AGAIN, made me question what I was actually doing ad how long it took. Hopefullt we'd already have most of them by the time you play the other game, and trading would be all that's needed...

Yes, I'd like to ora ora the developers: you shouldn't make a game "longer" by using cheap gameplay tatics, it's ACTUALLY suppose to be fun! I'm glad thy fixed this on later games..

Alternatively, they destroyed every pokemon's potential in later games, which is one of the reasons I'm not THAT interested in getting them. For example My Pikachu CAN beat up a Onix in 1st & 2nd Gens, but later they made it stat growth drop SIGINIFICANTLY; it can barely beat any Rock or Ground type even if it's at Lv100...)

Also, there's few other Pokemon related fails coming up that aren't so much as angry as they are funny! Also sorry for the somewhat angry wall of text!

@Kaythepikachu The first few of the original games were rough!! You're lucky to've played the remakes! But they probably destroyed the pokemon's ability to get REALLY strong, in the remakes though..

Yeah lol, they messed up a lot of aspects. Not only the pokemon but the rest of the characters. I think we haven't had a decent rival since pokemon b&w and that's quite a lot of time lol.
I'm not interested on the newer games either because they feel empty compared to the old ones. I miss soulsilver, it was my first game and I loved it :(

@XNei-YuiX Aww, you need to try buying it back... I know I miss Yellow: my 1st Pokemon game, it set a standard I never saw in any other game since.. (Except the "Let's Go Pokemon" games...)
